We arrived (as planned) around 10:30pm. The temperature in the unit was so high that I slept in my car. This unit doesn't get much natural breeze because of it’s position in building. I could not leave the patio door open because the screen door doesn't lock. The fan in the living has seen better days and I don’t think there was a ceiling fan in main room.It was my fault for not noticing that AC was not listed but the host should've made a better effort to bring the temperature down before we arrived.The unit is cute but needs TLC in bathroom (see photos). I booked a new place with AC and now paying for two places. I can't imagine I'm the first to be surprised to find that their rental doesn't have AC. Perhaps 'No AC' should be part of the description where it applies.

Beautiful complex

This property is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are wonderfully maintained and the hot tub/pool area is perfect for all ages. We enjoyed the ground floor unit for our young family. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed and Bree was amazing. Our dishwasher was leaking and there was prompt communication and resolution. We cannot wait to return!

Enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I stayed for week, and enjoyed our stay. The property has a wonderful large grass area with a pool and spa and wonderful ocean views. You can see the ocean from your lanai while eating breakfast or enjoying dinner. The unit was clean and tidy with extra amenities like beach towels, beach chairs, and cooler. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you needed. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Maui.

We LOVE Maui!

We brought along a blow up mattress so that our teenagers could sleep separately and not have to share the pull out couch. It was a great stay! It was so nice to have the kitchen/supplies to have breakfast & lunch at the unit. We used the grills a few nights and it was very nice to have that option. The kitchen was fully stocked. The unit had enough linens and high quality beach towels. My only complaint is that the unit was advertised as being space/supplies for 4 people but there were only 3 beach chairs. So there was always one person who had to do without. Other than that, I would highly recommend Polynesian Shores and Unit 120!

Beautiful Property!

We absolutely loved the grounds at Polynesian Shores! You can’t beat the view from the lawn and pool. Absolutely breathtaking! Our unit was well equipped and clean, and the location of the property was well situated. The beach in front doesn’t allow for swimming, but swimmable beaches were just a short drive away. There are also some within walking distance as well. We will definitely recommend this property to others!

Spring in Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This wasn’t our first rodeo at Polynesian Shores and for good reason! My wife and I have been vacationing here for years. We like to stay in the lower units as it is just a short walk from our lanai to beautiful lawn filled gardens right on the ocean. Depending on what time of year you might arrive, you have a good chance of seeing whales swimming by. In the morning there are always turtles swimming near shore. There’s a nice pool and hot tub to relax at with plenty of chairs and tables. In the same area there are several barbecues if you decide to jest in. The rooms are very nice, with full kitchens and each unit decorated differently. Polynesian Shores is close to grocery stores, shopping and some of the best restaurants. Some of the best beaches for snorkeling, and if your into golfing, great courses. Maui has a lot to offer, but this is our favorite side of the island to stay. Polynesian Shores staff are great and a available if needed. It’s peaceful and a great place to make new friends. I almost forgot, the best sunsets we’ve had the pleasure of seeing. That is why we keep coming back! Mahalo!

The location is spot on and you can easily walk in either direction to stores, and restaurants. All within 1.5 miles. The unit was the cleanest of all four properties I've stayed in on Maui. The reservation process was simple and efficient. Same with check in/check out. At times you lose track of your mornings by whale watching from the lanai. This was my first time staying at Polynesian Shores and would definitely recommend it to others.
