Great vacation place in the ocean.

The owner was very nice and friendly. The location was the perfect place for walking on the pier and to the stores. Very well kept up and clean.

Family vacation

We loved being so close to town, that we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The gathering spaces were large enough for all of us. Loved having a covered deck and the high chairs were perfect for seeing the ocean. Great vacation!!

We had a fantastic time when we stayed last year. It was great being on the beach and really appreciate that dogs were allowed. We liked it so much we are going back again this summer

A perfect family beach house

We had a wonderful stay at the house! Check in was very easy, the house was clean and ready for us and as pictured. The location is ideal with almost everything in walking distance. We did drive to go to the Karen Beasley Turtle Hospital for an afternoon with the kids. We absolutely loved Surf City and our house on the beach!

Great Surf City Location

We booked last minute and we were very happy with "Comes A Time." The owner was incredibly responsive. The home has great views and is conveniently located to Surf City businesses and the bridge. We will plan to book again on a future trip to Topsail.

Best Vacation Yet!

We really enjoyed ourselves at this home. We were a little worried at first about being so close to town. We thought it might be too crowded and loud, but all we heard were the waves. Plus the convenience of being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and bakeries was fantastic. We all look forward to staying here again!

Convenient to so much!

We had a wonderful time. Each year my sister and I plan a family vacation and this was one of our favorite places to stay. Coffee shops, stores, restaurants very close to the property. John was great to work with and easy to get in touch with. The property was clean and well laid out! We would certainly stay again!!!

My family and I loved this house ! We had a hot water issue and the owner, John was amazing! He had someone out within 30 mins of letting him know and it was fixed quickly. I would highly recommend this property !

Great beach getaway

This house is a gem Surf City. The layout was very conducive to a large family gathering. The seating was comfortable along with the beds. Access to the beach could not be beat along with the views from the top deck. It is within walking distance to so much along with the small market IGA we did not have to move the car. We plan to return.

Fall in Surf City

Great visit to Surf City. Our home was well appointed with everything we needed. Suprised to find a great grill to cook on. So close to the shops and restaurants! John was quick to respond when we inquired about renting and worked to book the dates we needed. We will definitely book this home again!

We love this place!

This is our second time staying at this property. Location is walkable to most of downtown Surf City restaurants and shops. Close to the bridge for easy travel if you need to leave the island. House is very clean and owner John is very helpful and responsive. Beds are comfy and you have just about anything you need to cook in the kitchen. 5 stars!

Amazing place and Amazing owner!

We had an amazing family weekend! The house is beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed it very much and the location was fantastic. John was so wonderful to deal with and called to check on us and make sure we found everything ok and we're happy. He went above and beyond. Highly recommend!!!

The best thing was the location, in Surf City. Beachfront, within walking distance to food and shops and Beverly convenient to grocery stores. The space was perfect however housekeeping wasn’t the best.

Comes A Time Review

Property was great. All pots, pans, plates and silverware were in abundance of what we needed. Manager was very attentive to all of our needs and got back to us very quickly. Would recommend this house and Manager to anyone looking to stay here. Also house was centrally located to Surf City so we walked everywhere.

Excellent location and excellent property!

This was the first time our family stayed in this house - we love Topsail and like being close to the pier and we insist on being on a quiet street because of the kids and dogs. This house fit the bill all around. It was nicely appointed and we loved having the two gates to keep everyone safe. We also liked being across the street from our favorite deli so we could walk over for breakfast and lunch. The keyless entry was a nice feature as well. Everyone loved the house and we plan to return next year!

Christmas 2019

The property and house were wonderful and john was very quick at answering questions we had a great time. Would definitely recommend if looking for a house right on the ocean with amazing views and endless beach. Get up early to enjoy the sunrise and we even got to see dolphins 3 morning coming to eat so close to shore. Will definitely come back and stay again if I get a chance to return. Thank you for a great holiday on the beach....

Heaven on Earth

This beach front home away from home is absolutely fantastic and very affordable. Everything looks exactly like the pictures. Property was clean and well maintained. The beach home was perfect size as it can easily sleep 10 people. We really appreciated that home and the beach were dog friendly. We loved to have a coffee every morning on the ocean front deck watching the dolphins playing. Stunning views! The home is right in the heart of Surf City close to shopping and dining. We would recommend this beach home to everyone! We will definitely come back and visit again! Thank you John, we had a great time!

We spent a lot of time, money and effort to assure the house has all the conveniences you'd expect and then some. My goal is to keep the place 100% serviceable and carefree so you may enjoy yourself in a trouble free environment.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We and all our guests love the convenience of being centrally located in Surf City. Once you get here, you can leave the car parked. 2 blocks from the pier, shopping, restaurants, attractions, entertainment, groceries, you name it. Yet the beach can almost seem like you are on an island to yourself at times with your private beach access away from the pier crowd.
