Worth the driveway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place, great location outside of town. The road is narrow and steep but after a couple days it was nothing to worry about. Would be nice to have more than 1 roll of toilet paper and paper towels. Most rental houses have basic shampoo and soap for the shower. This would be nice to have as well. If not then put it in the description that it is not provided.

The Most Enjoyable Vacation

We enjoyed the way everyone responded when called especially maintenance quick and fast response time. The terrain was steep and because of our location definitely needed the 4 wheel drive. The view was great but some trees could have been chopped down to allow the Mountain View to be a vocal point but over all a fantastic experience for us since it was our first cabin experience ...loved it so much.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It wasn’t what we were expecting. TheProperty management company messaged the day of saying sorry the views that were mentioned and shown in pictures are not available since they haven’t maintained the trees. That was a major disappointment. The place also lacked extra linens for the couch sofa. We called and they did deliver right away . Lastly, the remote is absolutely disgusting. It’s so sticky and seems like it hasn’t been replaced in years... I felt so gross touching it because of how sticky and germ infested it felt. It was really bad and it wasn’t just me who noticed it.

Love Me Tender Is Awesome!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year staying at Love Me Tender. The cabin is in excellent condition and is as depicted in the images. I'm not sure it could be any quieter than it is at this cabin. There are other cabins around, but you can't see any from the deck and you wouldn't know they were there if you hadn't seen them driving in. One caveat...the driveway is a little steep in one section. We've never had an issue, but it could be for some.

The management at Elk Springs Resort was the most thorough and helpful of any that we've ever experienced in the Smokies. One caveat: The driveway is steep. That said, the cabin is private and the view is unbeatable! You can't go wrong with this cabin...the pics are 100% accurate.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went Elk Springs Love Me Tender Cabin for our honeymoon for 5 nights and were pleased with our stay. The cabin is up on a mountain with a great view, was very clean and smelled very fresh. It’s in a great location, 3 minutes from a little coffee shop, 6 minutes from a restaurant, and about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, making traveling very minimal. Being in a decently secluded area though, it made for a great stay as we didn’t see hardly any people near where the cabin was. The cabin had just about everything you’d need to stay there for a few days, and if needing anything else, there’s a grocery store only 10 minutes from there. Our only gripe was that the tv in the bedroom was very small and could only access cable, and the tv in the living room had minimal streaming services. Besides that minor thing though, we definitely would give this place 5 stars and will be recommending this place to family and friends for sure. Thank you Elk Springs for a memorable honeymoon!

It was very clean and we enjoyed spending our time grilling and hanging out on the porch! It was in a good location that was close enough to other restaurants and shops but removed enough that we had our peace. We loved the cabin so much that if we come back we want to stay in the same place again! It was about a 10 minute drive from the downtown strip and a little less than 30 minutes to all the big hiking trails with plenty of restaurants in between. Based on previous reviews, we were a little worried about the condition of the driveway for little cars but we had no trouble getting to it.

Nearly perfect getaway

The bed frame was broken, the sound bar for the tv in the living room was not working and there was an issue with the cable TV on the deck. I have to say the cabin smelled much cleaner this stay. It was a little musty smelling last October. The view is amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub. We appriciate the location. It's pretty private. We will most likely be returning. Hopefully if we return there will not be any maintenance issues.
