Stores for necessities/groceries are within a short driving distance, it's in the heart of the arts/crafts loop, and also close to both explore the trails in the Smokeys and the main drag in downtown Gatlinburg. Elk Springs Resort was incredibly easy to work with, from check in to check out. A great stay and would absolutely come back!

There was an excessive amount of dust in the bedrooms, especially on all wooden surfaces such as the beds, picture frames, door frames, and other furniture. The dust was so noticeable that sleeping and spending time inside the cabin became uncomfortable.My family and I are allergic, including my baby, and unfortunately the dust caused constant discomfort, making it difficult for us to rest properly during our stay.With a more thorough and detailed cleaning, especially of the wooden surfaces, this cabin could provide a much more comfortable and pleasant experience, as the place itself is lovely and has great potential.I hope this feedback is taken constructively. I would have moved the bed closer to the opposite wall from the jacuzzi heart shaped bathtub, to give the guest on that side of the bed more room to get out of bed. And to allow for the placement of a bedside table for the guest on that side of the bed. Also, I would add some sort of a cabinet table next to the sink to put toiletries etc..

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our cabin rental was excellent. It was clean and spacious, with plenty of privacy despite having another cabin close by. We loved having a quiet retreat to head back to when we were done with our daily activities. The full kitchen was welcome as we usually prefer to do our own cooking rather than eating out. We also found that having a washer and dryer were an excellent benefit that we had not considered. We were able to go home and just hang up our clothes rather than running laundry for a day or two after the trip. Overall we feel we made the right choice in rental and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area.
