En el momento en que abra la puerta y suba las escaleras hacia esta cochera, ¡se alegrará de haber decidido quedarse aquí!  Decoración profesional, aire libre, piscina comunitaria, totalmente equipada y a 5 minutos a pie del magnífico Golfo de México.



El barrio Calypso Pointe está situado en la hermosa playa de Dune Allen.  Está a menos de 1/2 milla de las playas y ofrece un tranquilo vecindario cerrado con una piscina comunitaria.  Debido a que está ubicado en el centro, puedes ir en bicicleta a Pizza by the Sea en Gulf Place o dirigirte al oeste y disfrutar de algunos mariscos del Stinky's Fish Camp.



Match Pointe tiene una cama king size en el dormitorio con baño completo.  El sofá cama Queen ofrece una cama adicional para 2. El comedor tiene capacidad para 4 y está abierto a la cocina totalmente equipada.

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was perfect and we loved the location. The floor could use a thorough sweeping because of sand from the previous guest but all around a positive experience. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy and convenient

My sister and I stayed here for a few nights visiting our snowbird parent. It was small but perfect for us. The bikes provided were in excellent shape, aired up and had locks and helmets. The only negative I found was having to back out of the narrow drive because we had a minivan. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place for one or maybe two people. The mattress definitely needs to be replaced, it was very lumpy. No cable TV, therefore I couldn’t get local news. The overall decor was very nice. and the use of two bicycles was a bonus.

Exactly what we needed!

This was a lovely carriage house (apartment above garage)! My husband and our 6 month old baby stayed in the house for 3 nights/4 days. It was perfectly sized for the few days we were there. We cooked meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the plush king-sized bed. The couch pulls out to make an additional bed. The neighborhood is small and quiet which we enjoyed. The way it is fenced, it felt private given the main house is rented. It actually was vacant until the last day we left but it was no problem as far as peace and quiet is concerned. We'd stay there again! Beach and water was amazing!

This property was perfect for my husband and I. Communication with property management was easy and convenient. We could tell the apartment had been cleaned, but a little deeper clean would have been beneficial. Specifically the door to the air intake beside the couch needed dusting. Also you can see where the floors need a good scrub where old rugs used to be. I brought my own pillow, but the bed was super uncomfortable. Overall this apartment was perfect size and was in the perfect location to access the beach. I will definitely consider staying here again and recommend friends and family to stay here if visiting Santa Rosa Beach!

Great location!

This was truly a great location! 5 min walk to the beach with easy access. The community pool was also located right across the street. The neighborhood had nice shade in the mornings for running. Plenty of parking space in the driveway. 2 downfalls were the nest thermostat was locked and you couldn’t adjust the temperature. It was a little warm at 75 degrees at night trying to sleep. The washer also had mold in it so i wasn’t comfortable doing laundry in it. Otherwise, we had no complaints and this place is perfect if you want close beach access!

Not worth the price

Please fix the address on the listing as it’s wrong. There was a lack of communication from the host. Honestly, I’ve about had it with these big management companies cause you lose on the personal touch. The place is ok. It’s close to the beach. The iron had rust in it so it ruined my outfit. The washer and dryer both are dirty and smell. The dishwasher was full of water. The bed sheets stunk of mildew. The shower curtain has pink mold - which doesn’t grow overnight… the bathroom window needs a blind or curtain… oh and the front door was unlocked when we checked in. All in all, it was an okay stay but I doubt we would come back.

Pros and Cons

I have really hesitated on how to summarize this particular property we stayed at. Ultimately, there are pros and cons and honesty is the best policy, right? Pros- less than a 5 min. walk to the beach, comfortable king size bed, has a kitchen and plenty of a room for a family of 3, close to restaurants and entertainment, and has access to a neighborhood pool. The price was right for us. Cons- I can’t, in good conscience, give more than 2 stars for cleanliness. I don’t doubt they have a cleaning crew come in between guests to do the minimum sanitizing, but anything that didn’t have a hard surface had stains (lamp shades, couch, chairs, bed, walls, shower curtain, rugs, etc.) The pull out couch that we had planned on our 7 year old sleeping on was way too uncomfortable to sleep on, so we all shared a king size bed for the week. The window in the bathroom had direct sight of the construction next door with no option for covering it. Lastly, this house has plumbing issues and the emergency number they give you isn’t very responsive.

30A nightmare

Worst bed ever! Stuffing towels in the crack in the mattress under the 2 mattress covers does not improve the bed! Broken dishwasher. No water to it! Port hole bathroom window with no cover so the neighbors in the main house could see you when they walk out in their porch. Also the main house back porch light turned on and off every six seconds all night the last night we stayed. I counted. Dirty sheets on the pull out sofa. No outdoor space. I could go on but I won’t. The only positive was location.

Great location, poor management of property

The carriage house was clean and close to the beach. It is smaller than the pictures portray but was fine for 2 people. The previous reviews are true- only 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 kitchen-sized trash bag provided. So if you are staying more than 2-3 days, you may want to bring extra supplies. While we were there apparently there was a leak in the garage which we were not notified of. We came home from lunch to find 2 random people in the rental property with all of our belongings and valuables. When we called to verify that these people were indeed supposed to be in the unit, we got a “sorry we didn’t know they would be coming inside. “. And that was it. Poor customer service. Thankfully to our knowledge nothing was missing but it was a definite invasion of privacy. Also if you are going to do chair rentals, do NOT go through 30A-Vacay. Call the chair rental company yourself and verify the price and location of your chairs. Again, location was good but would not rent from this company again.

Hi Caitlin- Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the mix up with the maintenance team inspecting the water leak into the garage. When we notified you of them needing to come by to inspect, we assumed they would only need to look from the garage area. However, when they got there they needed to inspect the bathroom to verify the leak source. So, that's when we let them in as we needed to make sure there wasn't an active water leak. The leak has been fixed, so this is no longer an issue. Regarding the beach chairs, we use a wonderful vendor for the chairs. If there is ever an issue, we put our guests in direct communication with them as they can talk the guests through any issues they may have finding the chairs, etc. We found it's easier for the communication be direct between the 2 parties to avoid any miscommunication as the middle man. As far as the amenities we supply for each stay. We do communicate in the property notes that we provide a starter set of amenities for each stay. This includes a trash bag in each trash can, dish soap and sponge, dishwashing pod, laundry pod, also soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion in each bathroom, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen and a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We also provide a starter set of coffee, a snack from a local store as well as drink koozies. Again, we are so sorry you experienced any issues during your stay and hope you'll come back to this beautiful carriage house. Thanks!

Great Stay with Kids on Spring Break

We had great time at the Carriage House, Many advantages over your economy hotel. Way above it. Fully Equipped Kitchen, the place feels larger than it is, due to its high ceilings. Offers great Privacy from other rentals . The Land parcel immediately north to the property is up for sale and there is also no one around you. It was our first stay via a VRBO and it was a good one. The Kitchen has table setting for 4, but could really really use two extra sets of Plates/knives/forks We had 4 people and it felt like we always were running out Minor issue, but if you are having meals at home than we would not have to run the dishwasher as often as well. Private Parking space for 1 or 2 cars is also a plus. Worth noting: The Cell phone Reception is weak on the whole coastal area (and this is no exception ) had very hard time placing calls using Tmobile. It could be just T-mobile. Worth noting that the place has a really fast wifi 100mbps download / 20 mbps upload. which was very useful to back up all the pictures we were taking. I remember this was an issue last year in Destin. Not only cell phone was weak, the wifi we had was very slow - this place had none of that. HUGE PLUS for us! Also can't beat the location, little further away from the beach, but still very centrally located walking distance to the little downtown area. Also we biked everywhere as well, and two bikes are included on the property. Overall we would love to come back some other time!

Don't stay here

Really, really unclean ! Everything was covered with thick dust, bed untidy, bathroom walls dirty and in need of paint. Very loud refrigerator. Bathroom sink not clean. Furniture in disarray. Choose somewhere else.

Beautiful property in the perfect location

The unit is very high end and very modern. It was spotless and just three or four houses off of 30A across from the beach. We were with family in another condo literally across 30A from this unit. Couldn't have been happier. The ONLY issue for some were the steep stairs to get up to the unit.

Short walk to beach and shopping

Had a great time within a very short, 5 minute walk to the beach. And about 10 to 15 minute walk to small shopping area. Very impressed by the town, beaches are nice and less crowded than Destin and PCB. Short drive to Destin for other things to do for the kids. Relaxing getaway, and rental was very nice. Directions were unclear, and couldn’t find a way on the tv to load apps for Disney+ and YouTube TV, but everything else was excellent. Would recommend this property to others.

Good price in a good area

Overall, our stay was good. The location and parking are fantastic. It was very easy to check in and the house came with most of what we needed. There are sidewalks all around the property, so walking to places was very easy. The carriage house is located above a garage. To access, there are pretty steep concrete stairs. It’s obvious in the listing this is on the second floor, so not an issue, but with a 3-year-old, it felt precarious at times. There is a baby gate to place at the top of the stairs. There wasn’t a vacuum in the house, only a broom - which made it difficult to clean up after beach trips. There was also a massive hole/worn area on the mattress that was rather uncomfortable. The kitchen had most of what we needed, but some things I had to buy a baking sheet and colander. The oven mitt was also very badly burned and thin, so not easy to take hot pans out of the oven. The beach is technically a 5 minute walk away, but there is a lot of confusion on where private beaches are and where you can set up for the day. All in all, the places is very nice and comfortable for a family of four (2 small kids), but some key updates would have made it even better.
