This is our 2nd year at this property. Location to the beach is wonderful and the variety of sleeping areas make it so comfortable for all of us. The outdoor seating areas are a plus and we love the improvements you made to the kitchen. It's a great beach house.

The location was perfect—just steps from the water, with gorgeous views all day long. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved spending mornings walking the shoreline, afternoons soaking up the sun, and evenings watching the sunset. It was peaceful, refreshing, and exactly the break we were hoping for. We’re leaving with happy memories, and plans to come back again!

Perfect week at the beach

The property was extremely well kept and clean. The kitchen was brand new, gorgeous, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and flexible. Blue Surf centrally located in Dewey and is very close to the beach. We loved it!!!

Great place, great location

We had a great time. The condo was the perfect size for our group and it was very close to restaurants, shops and of course the beach. The property owner was very responsive when I had questions about parking after we arrived. Overall great experience. I would recommend this property.

Great for a large family!

The house was right next to the beach entrance, walking distance to all our favorite spots. The number of bathrooms with a large family was great. Paul was great at communicating and very helpful.

Excellent Stay

Location was very close to the beach which was great for our young family. The kids loved the personal outdoor shower which made life easy. Within walking distance of many restaurants, playground, and stores. The unit was clean upon arrival and well stocked with anything we may have needed. Private parking was convenient. Everything was as advertised.

Great Condo Near the Beach

My group loved this condo! This place had everything we needed and were looking for to have a pleasant stay. We've stayed at a few places in Dewey and this is the first one that had a fully stocked kitchen ready to go with sharp knives and all the spices! It even had a charcoal grill with all the right utensils. It's on the ocean block so getting to and from the beach is quick and easy. Bring your own beach umbrellas and equipment. It's close walking distance to everything in Dewey. I'm only taking off 1 star because communication and the key exchange was a little strange. The owners should really look into getting a lock box with a code for the doors or another easier way to handle keys. I'd also prefer not to be texting with the owners and have all the communication via email or VRBO. Overall, it was a great stay the place really was just what we were looking for!

Not what I expected for the rental amount

We have rented in Dewey for the past 6 years as a family. The location is perfect and the beaches are not crowded. I am not one to write a negative review but I have to share our experience staying in this townhouse. When we arrived the cleaning people were still there. No problem since we already had our suits on we went to the beach. Thank God when I was told they were done...they were still there for us to get into the house. The only way to obtain ONE key to the house was from the first floor lock box. We were ONLY able to get the key out once due to the lockbox seemed to be old and a bit rusted. Needless to say we didn't use the box all week and left the key in it just incase we got locked out. The WIFI DID NOT WORK. With that said nor did the tv's. To my knowledge NONE of the tv's were smart tv's. We did get the living room tv to work for the DVD player. So two nights we did buy some DVDs to watch movies which we left for other guest. The 2nd floor front porch had furniture. However, the two bar chairs were broken. My husband found the the hard way when he sat in the chair and almost fell out. The kitchen/house needs to a HUGE makeover....and I don't just mean updating. All of the cabinets are full with years of accumulation of items. Just to find a normal size coffee cup was a challenge. I did use the oven ONE time which had items stored in the oven as well. I am only able to type 1500 characters...my review has ended. Don't rent for the price!

Great Location

Our family had an amazing vacation at Dewey Beach. The beach house was perfect for 9 of us.. 5 adults and 4 children. The kitchen was well-equipped. The living area was comfortable. The beach was so close that we could come and go from there to the house several times each day, as needed. There are both ocean and partial bay views from the front deck and a larger deck in the back with a nice sized table. We would love to return there !

Great Vacation!

This property was perfect for our family of 8 people. It was clean and comfortable with excellent outdoor spaces to play games, take a nap or have a drink after dinner. It is located so that the beach is just a few minute walk and the restaurants and shops are just a few minutes in the other direction. We hope to go back again next year.

Lovely beach home just steps from the water

Large, comfortable 4 BR townhouse with ocean and bay views. Just steps to the sand - I never wore shoes on my trips to the beach. I allowed the sounds of the surf lull me to sleep. A lovely, restful stay. The house is located very close to the miles of undeveloped state park that lie between Dewey and the Indian River inlet. This allowed for long, quiet, stunning beach walks during my off-season stay. I loved it all.

Great Location and Wonderful Communication

This spot was great and within steps to the beach. We were near many restaurants and shops. The owners had fabulous communication with us and provided us with everything we needed. We will stay again!
