Cabaña de troncos histórica en 60 acres en el corazón del Bosque Nacional Chequamegon. Mascota amigable.

Encienda fuego en la chimenea de piedra de campo - sala de estar - ventana con vista al bosque y White River.
Enciende un fuego en la estufa de leña en el porche cubierto de 3 estaciones. Hay enormes ventanas con vistas al bosque y la primavera.
Enciende un fuego en el hoyo de la fogata.

Un resorte fluye por la cabina, de desembocar en un pequeño estanque, que se desborda en el río blanco. El sonido del viento susurrando a través de los árboles y el sonido del agua que fluye por los es constante y una de las razones White River Retreat es especial.

El cuerpo principal de la cabaña de madera fue construida en la década de 1930 por los artesanos que comprendieron la belleza, así como la funcionalidad de cabañas de madera. Un gran porche (20x30) y un segundo piso esta en la cabina en el 2010.

Planta 1: 2 dormitorios, 1 baño, cocina, sala de estar con chimenea de piedra y 3 temporada porche. Estufa de leña en el porche y chimenea en el salón. Proporciono la leña.

Planta 2: 2 dormitorios, 1. 5 baños - bien equipadas con baldosas de travertino, bañera con patas, ducha de baldosas, tocadores de madera recuperadas, amplios dormitorios con vistas.

Configuración de la cama: 2 camas queen, 1 completo, 2 camas individuales. Proporciono la ropa de cama.

Cocina: estufa / horno, nevera, microondas, tostadora, cafetera, ollas / sartenes /.

He de propiedad co / operado una casa de campo con varias cabañas cerca de White River Retreat, de más de 25 años. Entiendo lo que la gente está buscando en un alquiler de vacaciones. Hago lo que puedo para guiarlo hacia esta opción de alquiler si siento que se ajuste a sus necesidades. También te alejarse de alquiler de Cabaña si parece que esto no es un buen partido para sus necesidades. Quiero que la gente sea feliz aquí y dejan sintiéndose renovado por la experiencia.

I have had this cabin on my list for a few years now and I finally was able to check it out, and wow, this is my new favorite cabin, it went to the top of my list to return to! I have rented a lot of cabins for me and my dogs, and the main things I look for are remote, acreage, hiking trails, water feature, and a bonfire pit, the cabin itself is secondary, but boy did this cabin check all my boxes and then some! The hiking trails are endless, there is absolutely no-one around, there is a super clean spring-fed babbling brook and shallow river right on the property, the cabin is on a mile dead-end gravel road with only 2 other cabins on it, the only car I saw the whole time was a wrong turn. The cabin itself is huge, I didn't even use the upstairs, it is very clean, super comfortable, and has this great enclosed window porch with a gas fireplace to enjoy. I don't want to leave and I can't wait to come back again! Thank you so much Marilyn for sharing your amazing property with us and our pups!

Beautiful wooded property. Spacious cabin with lovely screened porch and large dining table. The cabin has the feel and looks of an Adirondack cabin. Very clean. Our host thoroughly explained how to operate the fireplace and kitchen stove. Plenty of firewood was available. Pet friendly. Very peaceful stay.

Amazing secluded location. Incredibly clean upon arrival. Great setup up of bedrooms and bathrooms for families staying together. The host Marilyn was very responsive and helpful. Love that it is pet friendly! The only constructive feedback I can come up with is that the kitchen utensils and cookware could use an inventory/updating - we cooked a lot of meals there! Also, the screen porch wasn't really a screen porch. It was mostly glass windows with one or two that opened to screens. I'm sure it's nice in the winter to have that, but being summer a breeze there would have been amazing!Highly recommended - both the property and the host. So glad we went there. We had an amazing time!

We had a great time. Marilyn made the check in process very easy. The water from the tap was amazing. We all slept great due to it's remote location, dark and quiet. The cabin was also very clean.

My family of four loved this quiet and remote cabin! It was cozy when we wanted to be together, and big enough for us to spread out when we needed space from each other. Our host led us to the cabin to show us some unique features and answer any questions we had. Keep in mind when booking that there is no television, which was not a problem for us as the Wi-Fi is very good, and we were able to stream on our devices when necessary. There is salt and pepper provided, but be sure to pack any other cooking ingredients you may need (oils, seasoning, etc.). Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we were already talking about our next visit before this one was over!

The cabin was the perfect rental property for my families’ vacation to northern WI. We had space to enjoy inside and out, particularly the screened-in porch. The only negative was a lack of kitchen implements, like a tablespoon and kitchen knife. We managed with what was there, but it could be better.

Amazing Northwoods Getaway

Incredibly beautiful location. Privacy at its best. Our family walked in and didn't want to leave. The cabin is great mix of modern updates and preserved original details. Marilyn is a wonderful host and takes great pride in the cabin and property.

This was the most beautiful cabin I have ever stayed in - surrounded by trees of all kinds, a babbling stream, and a hike right outside the door. Me and four friends stayed over the weekend, cooked together, and chatted around the fire and it was big enough for the whole group and some!

Great thanksgiving getaway!

This was such a relaxing getaway!! We got snow while there and the driveway is a bit tight so just be prepared but it was so nice and chill and sounds of water soo pretty! Marilyn was so nice and helpful. Will come back again!!!

Peaceful

The peace and quiet of this location was exactly what we were looking for. We spent the weekend going for hikes, kayaking nearby lakes and enjoying the excellent food at Delta Diner, only a little over a mile away. With no TV’s we could find, we spent our evenings on the porch visiting next to the fireplace. Each night we slept with the windows open so we could listen to the creek. It was the perfect stay to get away from technology and reset ourselves.

Secluded Getaway

Gotta say this was the most secluded place we've stayed in recent years. Good internet but no TV or cell phone (except through internet). Overall good stay, nice rooms and beds, clean, and well kept.

Quiet Space

I live 2 miles from White River Retreat, at a resort which I co-own/operate with my former spouse. My two sons, aged 19 and 15, are a joy to watch grow into young men. Four newfoundland mixed breed dogs are a part of my life.

The vacations that stay with you throughout the year are ones that allow you to recharge your energy and allow you to view your life's blessings and obstacles from a different perspective.

As I live locally, I have known about this cabin, with the spring flowing through the grounds and the White River flowing by the cabin, for years. I fell in love with it when I saw it for the first time, visiting friends who owned it. Recently it became available for sale and I chose to take it on as my responsibility, believing that others would find it as beautiful and want to rent it. I own/operate a lodge/cabin rental business located 2 miles away. Owning/renting White River Retreat has been second nature for me, given my background.
