DaySea Cottage

Este es un lugar de aterrizaje espacioso frente al mar para grandes reuniones de familiares y amigos. Su gran sala, con una cocina de estilo rural, un comedor que incluye una barra de desayuno y una sala de estar tradicional se calienta con una gran chimenea de piedra y el sol entra por los grandes ventanales de la parte delantera de la casa. Esa vista sin obstrucciones del Pacífico se refleja en el piso de arriba en dos suites king con ventanas lo suficientemente grandes para que no tenga que levantarse de la cama por la mañana para ver el océano. Great location, wonderful property

Lovely, very well maintained and comfortable property, in an excellent location. Plenty of room for a larger group & multiple families. Check in/out was straightforward, and good communication from the agency.

Wonderful stay with extended family

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful house. The views are amazing. There were 12 of us and we found the place well suited for such a large group. The house was very clean and well stocked. Although we didn't do a lot of cooking we didn't lack for anything (other than a pair of scissors). Since the house is near the end of the road we found it very quiet and could simply enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The kids loved the easy beach access and we all loved exploring the nearby tidal pools. All-in-all we had an amazing time.

Wonderful stay, perfect location

Awesome property with an amazing view from the main level and upstairs bedrooms. The bunk room was perfect for all the kids, and the open floor plan on the main level with the large kitchen was great for hanging out. The rec room garage conversion was a bonus; the kids played a lot of ping pong over the weekend. The beach stairs provide easy access to the huge beach. The last few steps could be a bit dicey, but that wasn’t a problem for anyone in my party. The location near the north end of the beach is perfect; we had a nice walk to the unpopulated part of the beach bluffs and to the hidden beach around the north end at low tide. Wonderful spot for a mini family reunion!

Moms 80th bday

My mom wanted a weekend with her kids. Earlier in the year she had broken her ankle so walking is not easy. This house was perfect for her. Most everything was on the main level, including the bedroom we assigned her to. She was able to sit for hours and watch the ocean which she loved. As for the rest of the house, it was great for having little kids. A play area upstairs that kept the kids entertained, and not a bunch of toys being in everyone’s way. Lots of room for everyone to have space by themselves. I rent lots of properties and when they say “fully stocked” they mean it. I usually bring my own pots and pans to prepare for a large group, but I didn’t need too. There was a crockpot, waffle maker, electric griddle. Check in was great, after we worked through some issues, that may have been because of my own mistake with putting in my phone number inaccurately. I would suggest this home to anyone that wants the beach for a great quiet gathering.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was wonderful and very comfortable for our family. Our grandchildren are teenagers as well as toddlers and everyone had their space and lots of room for different activities. My only disappointment was that we did not have access to the beach from the home. Back in March when we booked the home, the pictures online showed a gate facing the beach and the statement "steps to the beach" mislead me to believe that we had direct access to the beach. Upon our arrival, we found that the steps were taped off and were under construction. This caused an inconvenience for our family as we could not easily access the kids out on the beach from the home. Easy access to the beach was a determining factor in choosing this home. Please note all categories below would have been ranked a five had we had direct access to the beach as expected.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house with amazing views! Plenty of bathrooms, great layout, awesome fireplace. Wifi had a small range, though, and neither Sprint nor T-Mobile were able to make calls or use data without it. We loved the beach access, although it was a little tricky for some of the seniors staying with us. The steps stop near the bottom, and you have to step carefully on large stones to get all the way down to the beach. The house was pretty minimally stocked- basic appliances, no iron or ironing board. Overall, I loved the house, but didn't have a pleasant experience with the property management company. They NEVER returned a single message I left on their voice mail. I originally booked a house in Neskowin. Less than 10 days after booking, but just within the 30 day cancellation period, we found out we couldn't go because I had to have surgery on my shoulder and leg, and would not be functioning. They wouldn't refund me or cancel, or even talk to the house owner to see how they felt about letting me out because of my situation. But after much prodding, Meredith Lodging eventually agreed to postpone. After all that, the owner of the original booking stopped renting out houses, so the management company moved us to another house!! If only the company would have communicated with the owner in the first place, I could have been a happy camper let out of the rental obligation. As it was, my family still had to go, just at a different location and time. There are enough rental property management companies along the coast, that I'm not inclined to use this one again. (They were good to mail us a couple of important things we left at the house, though.)

I can’t express how much we loved everything! We had bad experience with blue pacific rentals so was very leery to even communicate with management. This rental we will rent again plus we highly recommend Meredith Lodging!

Excellent family get together facility

I’ve already done this so I downrated communication. Only complaint was final access to beach. Recommendation was knife sharpener and bedroom nightlights.

Excellent location

Overall this house worked out great for all of us. There was enough room for everyone to move around without bumping into each other. The beach access was great and convenient. The view was stunning all day long. The open concept was wonderful. Everyone agreed to rent this house again.

Beautiful home and location

This is the ultimate place to bring a family, or two or three! The kids room and ping pong table kept my kids busy for hours. Grand parents and parents enjoyed the two master bedrooms with breathtaking views! Kitchen was terrific and well stocked. Wish check-in time was before 5pm. Hard to do with dinner prep and settling in.
