This house is magnificent! Beautiful ocean views from the gorgeous deck. Lovely home and very well-maintained and clean. This was a multi-gen family reunion and we loved this house!!

The setting was great for being inside and watching the waves crashing on the shore - conveniently located and just a great space to spend time playing games, cooking meals and enjoying each other’s company.

Perfect location for our family.

Our Beach Adventure

A Beautiful Day home is fantastic. The home is beautiful. Loved the way it was set up and everyone was able to find room to relax or play in . The ocean was just steps away and sitting on the deck watching the waves come in is fantastic. Having the Hot tub to relax in after exploring the coastline was a great way to wind down after an adventurous day .

Beautiful house in a perfect location.

I wanted to rent a beach house for spring break and to celebrate my 20 year wedding anniversary… and this house was perfect. Beautiful ocean front view and had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely be back.

Great house!!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The managers were super professional and understanding of a few minor oopsies. They were super kind. The house is beautiful and amazing. Exactly what we were looking for. There are a lot of stairs so we were looking down on the beach. Super easy and close access to the beach. We had an amazing time. Thank you

Birthday weekend

My family was all together to celebrate several birthdays that all occur in January. Even though it rained my over 15 grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub. A sea cull missing a foot was named Peggy and appeared every morning to the delight of all of us. By the time we left Peggy was taking food right from my grandsons hand. We miss Peggy.

Amazing Location!

This property was amazing. You can't beat the location and how close it is to the beach. Yes the house has a lot of stairs, but it makes sense in order to get the amazing views. There was so much room we all had our own space while still enjoying family time. The hot tub was not working, this was a big disappointment as we rented this property because it has a hot tub. The management company was in contact with us and did provide minor compensation. I had some pretty disappointed family as a result of the hot tub not working. I would recommend looking at the heat, while it was working, it was still really chilly in the mornings even up stairs. We would definitely rent this property again as the location to the beach just can't be beat. The amount of space and being pet friendly was great. One more note, the key was difficult to find at first. Better check in instructions would be helpful.

Unsecure / unsafe

Great property in a great location. Arrived to find sliding door lock missing a piece and unsecured. Meredith did send someone out that night who tried a temporary fix which only lasted one use of the door. Part of the banister on the deck was not attached which we identified to Meredith the 1st evening. We were fearful to let children use the 2nd story deck, less they fall to their death through the unrepaired banister. Entire stay no one fixed the door or the banister. Found a pole for the door when checking out, hidden beneath a couch. No way to lock up the house the entire stay. Unsecure and unsafe.

Poorly Managed, Poorly Maintained

I wish I’d trusted negative reviews I’d read during my extensive research of properties to stay along the Oregon coast… my decision not to ruined our Spring Break. The hot tub didn’t work, the furnace didn’t work and the unit had no heat, and the property manager not only failed to fix these things, but verifiably did less than they could have, and we were stuck with an unchanged massive rental fee. The filter we used for choosing a location was homes with hot tubs, and that was the cover picture for this unit and the headline text, describing enjoying the ocean views from the hot tub on the deck. Days before our trip, after it was too late to cancel, Meredith Lodging told us the hot tub wouldn’t work, and we couldn’t cancel or get a refund. They didn’t proactively offer any sort of make good, and only after telling them this was unacceptable did they offer to refund the hot tub fee, a small fraction of the total we paid for a rental promoted as a hot tub haven. They told us, inaccurately, they’d do everything they could to fix. Repairman later told us they didn’t. The unit was freezing cold, hovering at 50F. Turns out the furnace also didn’t work, so we spent our 1st night shivering in beds without enough blankets. They didn’t fix this during the stay, and we wore coats in the house. Meredith Lodging can’t be trusted and poorly maintains their properties. This unit seems nice, but beware surprises await you. Reviews on other homes said this. I wish I’d listened.
