El Faro de Lincoln lleva el nombre de su ubicación en un promontorio sobre el Océano Pacífico. Te sorprenderán las vistas panorámicas desde muchas habitaciones y la terraza de esta encantadora e inmaculada casa. La casa pasó por una extensa remodelación en 2019. Las 3 master suites hacen de este el hogar perfecto lejos del hogar para la familia extendida o grupos de amigos que desean tanto la unión como los lugares para retirarse. La sala de estar está bellamente decorada y cuenta con una sala de estar con una hermosa chimenea, TV UHD y reproductor de Blu-ray. La cocina gourmet cuenta con una gran isla y encimeras de cuarzo y suplica que se utilicen para comidas especiales. Desde la sala de estar, las puertas francesas dan acceso a una espaciosa terraza con vista al océano. Un juego de comedor y una barbacoa brindan la oportunidad de comidas al aire libre mientras disfruta del agradable clima de Oregon, las magníficas puestas de sol y las estrellas. La planta baja también cuenta con una sala multimedia con chimenea, televisión UHD, reproductor de Blu-ray, videojuegos clásicos y spa al aire libre. Los entusiastas del surf estarán encantados de saber que pueden ver el mundialmente famoso Nelscott Reef desde la cubierta. Beach get away

We were able to check in early for a small fee, which made the start of the trip very enjoyable. We love Neslo Beach and we’re able to see some whales so that was cool too. Well definitely rent this property again.

Not suitable for elderly people. Bedding was stained and worn. Hot tub was in a poor location under a dark deck. Kitchen was beautiful.

Great stay - with a few exceptions

Our stay was wonderful and the house was beautiful. Only downfalls were the beds were very uncomfortable, and we believe the beach access should be better disclosed. While the access is right next door, is it 12 flights of stairs to get down. Can easily be challenging for elderly people and kids. Otherwise is a wonderful house, loved the deck!

Nice beach house

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Lots of room and great views. We were disturbed by the lack of cleanliness, especially in the kitchen area. We found many dishes in the cupboards that had been put away with food on them. We were only given one towel for the kitchen, which was not enough for a group of people using the kitchen. The house was not as clean as I would have liked.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view and house. We had lots of kiddos and the place had great separation with the bedrooms on top. The house has three sets of stairs and then the stairs to the beach we’re a dozer. Plan the beach trip accordingly or come back from your trip with buns o’steel.

Wonderful visit

We had three families and the accommodations were perfect. I read reviews from 2018 commenting on a broken dishwasher, and it was STILL broken! No one notified us which I really don’t think is ok. Otherwise there were a few things that needed care, like the lamp shade and bath towels were a bit worn. The location is so great, the view and proximity to the beach access. Thanks for sharing your house.

Perfect Place for Family!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived on a Friday afternoon. Had some trouble getting in with the code supplied, however the Customer Service was very friendly and prompt in getting the issue resolved. Stayed as a family of 7 for 2 nights. Loved the openness of the house. Plenty of seating for everyone. The large windows made for beautiful mornings. Kitchen had everything that was needed for cooking meals. Hottub worked just fine. Parking was adequate for our 3 cars with 2 hour parking across the street for others in our family who did not stay at the house. Wished we could have stayed one more day to enjoy the relaxation. We would definitely stay here again.

Lots of space and well appointed.

We booked this home as a surprise getaway with our daughter, her husband and our 8 week old grand daughter. The listing description is a bit confusing, there are NO bedrooms on the main living level and lots of steep stairs. I do not recommend this home for people with young children. We ended up getting our steps in chasing things we needed on various floors. The kitchen is well appointed though we didn’t cook much. The furniture isn’t very comfortable so again I don’t recommend for a let’s active family. The beds are also not great. The street is very noisy on the weekend as town fills up and we had construction going across the street for several days. Again, if you have a bunch of active teens or young people this would be a great house. Just not the best for total relaxation. On the positive side, the view is great and there is a hot tub. The stairs to the beach are pretty significant so plan to drive to the beach unless you’re in shape. We made it once with a baby strapped to my son in law.

Beautiful views

We were really excited to find this property available to book last minute. The home had a ton of space for our family and is pet-friendly and close to the beach, which we loved. We didn’t love that the property was not clean. There are urine stains on carpets and smells throughout the home. Additionally, upon cooking our first meal, we noticed that the dishwasher that was listed as an amenity, was not functioning. I notified the management company immediately. The management company let us know that they had, at 4AM through email the day of check-in, notified us of the issue that the dishwasher wasn’t working. We we had already begun our journey to the beach and were not checking our emails while traveling. We were discouraged, as we had planned to make our meals at the home. We made our meals as we had planned and spent a lot of our vacation washing the dishes by hand. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until just before checkout that disposable serving-ware, was provided. We learned our lesson, avoid booking with a conglomerate on a whim. Could have been worse but won’t be staying with this management property again. Next time we’ll plan in advance and stick to the independently-owned and operated properties.

BE WARNED

We stayed at this property as a family of 6 adults and one infant. As previously requested before our arrival there was to be a high chair and a pack n play; neither was in the home upon our arrival. After many phone calls to the property management company (Meredith Lodging) we were told it would arrive later that day; by early evening neither item had arrived. We ended up purchasing a pack n play later that evening while our infant granddaughter slept on the floor. The home has magnificent views, however, it is in desperate need of updating; the 90's are still alive in this home. Other than the kitchen counter upgrades to a solid surface and the same for the bathrooms, this home for us was a huge disappointment. There was one hair dryer for 3 full bathrooms (Meredith Lodging brought 2 more the following day after contacting them), there was unpainted trim around a double door, stained carpets, old and worn bedspreads with holes, non functioning closet doors and bathroom doors (the barn door did not stay shut in an upper bedroom), spiders, mix and matched plates and glasses, one measuring cup, a 4ft broom (only one that could be located), terrible 90's decor, broken lampshades, stained lampshades, ugly furniture, non working toaster and dishwasher. It needed a good overall cleaning and TLC! At the price point we paid we were extremely disappointed both with the property and the management company. Consider yourself warned! It is NOT worth the price!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at the lighthouse several years ago and was very impressed with the property. Sorry, to say it has gone down hill! No specific issue without pointing out the need for a complete renovation. The obvious issue was pet spots on the carpet that you could not avoid. Wearing socks, slippers, or shoes seem to be necessary. Some windows were damaged, carpets throughout seemed old or outdated, furniture certainly did not contribute to the ambiance like the original. Curtains in both upstairs bathrooms were old and dirty, overall condition was less than ideal. Had sent an email asking about the pet spots, as previously reported, and was assured that they were taken care of, I guess your idea of what "taken care" of is quite different than mine. We have rented from Meredith before and were satisfied. We had invited guest from Ohio to come out and stay. They were candid and agreed and were a bit shocked at the condition of the house. We were looking at two places when renting and since we had stayed at the Lighthouse a few years ago and enjoyed the views and ambiance, decide we would rent this place after being assured from your message, pretty curt message, that the carpets had been taken care of and the place was in good condition, sorry I can not agree. We agree this is a "beach house" and gets wear as a rental, but cost verses experience isn't there!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented this home for a couple of days with my young kids. We frequently stay in Lincoln City, and always thus far in Meredith properties. I must say this is my least favorite of the places I've stayed over the years. Pros: - Good location and easy and close access to beach - Large house. If you have a big group, this will likely fit your needs. - Pets accepted. Very hard to find these days. - Decent view - Hot tub. This was my kid's favorite part. Cons: - Kitchen upkeep. Toaster had a broken element that caught a bagel on fire. Missing some utensils like a pizza cutter. Had some trouble getting dishwasher to work. It kept wanting to go directly to dry cycle (which stinks everything up when loaded with dirty dishes). - As noted in some previous reviews, the carpet is stained horribly. There's a sign in the entryway asking you to take off your shoes, but once you see the carpet you won't want to. It either needs a serious professional cleaning or it should be replaced. Definitely detracts from the home. - Barbecue in bad cosmetic condition. It might work fine, but I wasn't about to use it. Just putting a cheap cover on it would have helped keep it looking nice. - No amenities like books or DVDs that we're used to seeing in other Meredith properties (there were some games) - Phone kept ringing (noted in another review as well). - Fairly non-existent yard. Not much can be done about that of course, but people should be aware of it if they're bringing animals. - No AC, or if there is I couldn't figure out how to get it to work. It was a bright sunny afternoon when we arrived and all the ocean facing window blinds were open. The inside of the house was nearly 90 degrees on the thermostat. It was sweltering. Leaving the doors open and cranking the ceiling fans got it down to about 75 by bed time, but still too hot for us

Stunning Setting

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and spacious. Accommodated our large family very well and had a very well stocked kitchen for any cooking/entertaining. The beautiful view from almost every room was definitely the favorite part of the house. Loved that the beach access was next door as well. Our only complaint would be that there were not enough towels for the amount of bathrooms or blankets and the beds could have been cozier. Many of us were cold and we ended up going and buying a couple of extra blankets. The hot tub was a little dirty inside and the cover is so warm that it was too hard to maneuver, so we didn’t use it much. Over all we had a great stay and would be interested in staying again.
