Lovely break for animal lovers

We enjoyed a relaxing time, lovely location and a great house. Our host was super helpful including with helping the kids feed the goats and chickens, which was fun for them! Thoroughly recommend this place to others!

Beautiful & tranquil cottage

Well appointed and very comfortable cottage set in a lovely. Feeding the goats & chickens was a highlight for my daughter.

Beautiful, relaxing, friendly

We had a lovely stay at Nanny Goat Hill. The house is beautiful and the surrounding area is sooo peaceful and stunning. We really enjoyed meeting the friendly goats and chickens, and It was lovely of Gudula to let us feed them. Thanks for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

Wish we could have stayed longer

A wonderful home and location. Our three kids (7, 5, 3) absolutely loved the spaces - inside and out. Feeding the chickens and goats (and collecting eggs) were highlights of a great school holiday trip. Beautiful, comfortable, warm - everything we wanted and more (including bunk beds!). Excellent location - direct access to beautiful Wattamolla Road drive to Berry or quick zip into Kangaroo Valley town. We hope to stay at Nanny Goat Farm again soon.

Lovely location

Spacious place with plenty of room in the entertainment areas. On great property with the goats and chickens as an added bonus. Overall great place, however more communication would've been greatly appreciated including the check in and check out processes.

Peaceful Family getaway

Just the place we needed for our first getaway as a family of 5, with 3 kids under 4. My first thought about this home and the surrounds was that everything looks so much nicer in person than the photos online. So spacious and comfortable. We cooked several meals, did loads of laundry and dishwashing! so truly a home away from home. Gudula was super friendly. Only small complaint was that the plug in the bath tub doesn't seal properly, so water continually leaks. Otherwise a fabulous stay!

Beautiful outlook

We has a great time at Nanny Goat Hill. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, clean, had a great outlook and in an excellent location, a few mins out of Kangaroo Valley town centre. The highlight was the kids feeding and putting the chickens and goats to bed, and collecting eggs. Definitely recommended. Thanks, Amy

Great relaxing farm stay with expansive views, with the luxuries and convenience of a modern cottage. The property didn't have herds of larger farm animals but the surrounding properties did so we had the convenience of running around the property safely with our 3 year old, whilst also being up close to the large animals. We had the company of the resident chooks and goats though, which we loved, and together with the large cottage, was a highlight of the stay. Gudula, the host was especially accomodating and lovely.

Beautiful country escape

We stayed at this lovely cottage for 2 nights while in Kangaroo Valley for a wedding. Communication with the host was excellent, very responsive & helpful. Our toddler loved the goats & the balcony provided a lovely relaxing spot to enjoy a drink or read a book. Rainy weather limited our ability to explore the property more but we’d definitely stay again. Only suggestion would be clearer signage for the cottage entrance & parking.

Hidden Gem in the Heart of Kangaroo Valley

We had a lovely stay at Nanny Goat Farm. The property was clean, modern and well maintained. Great big bath tub and we swam in the pool every afternoon. Kids loved the free roaming chooks and 2 goats. In the evenings kids would feed the animals with Gudula who was very friendly and kind. Lots of space, kids games, books to keep us entertained. Was beautiful to sit on the veranda or grass overlooking the farm and watching the morning mist of the Valley. Close drive to Kangaroo Valley shops. Evenings were beautiful watching the sunset and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Would definitely recommend.

Warm and friendly Host

We absolutely loved our little getaway at Nanny Goat Kangeroo Valley . We found Gudala extremely friendly and my 7 year old daughter could not wait to see the chickens and the goats every morning . The accommodation was neat and well kept and the location was perfect . We will be back 😄

Lovely property. Very spacious living space and comfy beds. Just missing the essentials like foil, baking paper, tissues, and instant coffee. The pool was murky and the cleaning pump was cleaning the whole time we were in the pool. A bit inconvenient when it’s a small pool.

Relaxing getaway

The space is large and has cosy spaces for reading and playing games. Even with a lot of rain the 4 kids had plenty of room. It was a very relaxing few days away and when the sun did come out we all loved swimming in the pool. Gudula was lovely and very understanding when the kids touched the pool vac and caused it to stop working (thankfully it started working again!). We enjoyed walking around the property to see the goats and chickens. The kitchen was great with all the things you could need. The beds were comfy and there was many board games and DVDs to enjoy (which we did as it rained a lot!). It’s a short drive into town or to Fitzroy Falls. Thank you Gudula, we had a wonderful time!

Top Spot

Myself and 4 friends/colleagues stayed at Nanny Goat Hill for 2 nights, and took part in a running event in KV. The weekend ended up being one of the hottest on record and we were all very thankful of the access to the pool after the event to cool down and rehydrate with our beverages, canned of course! Thank you Gadula for the lovely stay.

Beautiful property, stunning view

Our toddler love this place. Living space is really spacious. Perfect for family. The view is stunning outside. There are chickens and goats. Kids joined in the feeding time, and picked up the fresh egg. The owner Gudula is very friendly. We would love to come back again.

Wonderful stay

This house was fantastic for us and our toddler. The house itself has everything you need and the big bath was an added bonus. The grounds of the house are what make it stand out though - the garden is spectacular, the pool was delightful on a hot day and the goats and the chickens were a load of fun for our toddler. The house is a 5 minute drive from town (The General Store and Cafe are excellent). Gudula is a lovely host. We'd happily stay here again.

Amazing find in Kangaroo Valley

We had the best time staying at Nanny Goat Hill! Living and dining area was super spacious and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms were also very well maintained. We adored walking around the property with the chooks and checking in on the goats. Gudula was really friendly and helpful, and we joined her to feed the chooks one morning. The view of the landscape was also breath-taking...we’ll be back!
