First and foremost I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your visit at the home, we strive to ensure our guests have a great time at our properties. That said I am a bit surprised by the feedback as during check out the rest of your group told us what a wonderful time they had and how much they enjoyed the home. I do wish you had reached out during your visit so we would have had a chance to try to address your concerns. The dripping shower was actually pointed out to you at check in and explained that we are waiting on a part for the plumber to repair. It was also explained that we have temporary covers on the upstairs outdoor couch until we are able to have custom covers made. Based on our correspondence after your check out it seemed the biggest issues was the wind and not being able to host a large gathering for Thanksgiving. You happened to be visiting during an unusually windy week. It was quite windy all over the island with actual high wind warnings so I do imagine on the ridge-line it was even more blusterous but this was not something we could have foreseen. Sometimes the air is completely still on the ridge and people wish for some cool breeze. Which is actually why we added A/C about a year ago. In regards to the limit on number of guests, this is something we discussed prior to confirming your booking. We were happy to cancel your booking penalty free had you decided that it just wouldn’t work for your family. Our properties are located in quiet residential areas and having a gathering of 12 additional people could not only possibly disturb our neighbors but in addition the house is just not set up to accommodate such a large group for a number of reasons. I do understand that sometimes homes just aren’t a right fit for certain families and I’m sorry to hear this was the case for your visit. We do handle a number of other five star properties that might better suit what you are looking for on your next visit.
