We were extremely pleased with this property. The hosts were very friendly and communicated when needed. The location was ideal with teenagers and Younger kids. Just around the corner from from the amazing pool. The house was everything we expected. Enough space for everyone to be comfortable. Very clean and up to date. We will definitely stay again!

Location was great with easy access to several family friendly options for food and play. We could walk to the beach or the commons with ease.

Nice house short distance to the beach.

We stayed here for a week in April. House was as pictured, the community pool was heated, clean and we enjoyed. The walk to the beach wasn't bad said we do thiddaily.

The house was great with enough space to fit all of us comfortably. Easy walk to the beach and good location for restaurants. Had a great time.

Property was beautiful and large. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Fully stocked with extra linens, towels, and supplies in kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!

Louisiana Beach Crew

We had an amazing time at Right Rudder Retreat! We had a crew of 12 adults and there was plenty of room and beds! The community is Beautiful and the pool was fantastic! The property owners Kevin and Jessie, were super helpful and easy to get in touch with! We plan to stay here again next year!

I was extremely happy with our rental. The house was clean, spacious and a great layout. The pool at the complex is very spacious and clean. We will be staying at this property next time we come to Destin!!!!!!

Excellent

Right Rudder Retreat was perfect for us 5 adult's, 2 kids, ages 7 and 4. It was very clean! We had my mother in law which is 67, with us so we didn't walk to the beach. The pool was cool. There is no tiki bar open at the pool. It's been closed for a couple of years. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. There's two coffee pots. That was very nice to have. Overall our stay was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kevin and Jessie!!

The house is spacious and in a good location to walk to the community pool. The bath towels were very thin. Not many extras like trash bags and dishwasher pods. There is a shuttle to the beach which is very convenient. It picks you up at the house and drops you off right back at the house. There was no information in the house we saw on how to access the shuttle. I had to get that information from the pool attendants. The beach wagon is very helpful. However, be aware that once you get to the beach walk platform there are stairs at the bottom, which make the wagon difficult to manage. There are a couple things that need attention: the light covers under the kitchen cabinets easily fell down and the lever that adjusts the living room blind would not stay connected. The beds were very soft and uncomfortable. The host is extremely easy to communicate with and is very responsive and helpful!

Owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. Check in was smooth. The home is exactly as listed. It was our first time visiting Destin and we will be back. Wonderful stay!

Great family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Upon entering, I immediately notticed how clean it was! It was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone, especially the kitchen. The balcony was great for afternoon coffee with a relaxing breeze. My only real complaints were the upstairs master bedroom mattress which was sinking in the middle and some of the outdoor patio furniture needs to be replaced. The hosts were very nice and quick to respond to any questions I had.

The stay was great!

The house was clean and close to the beach. The owners made sure they reached out before check in. Numbers were given in case I had any questions. Nice quiet neighborhood! I highly recommend this house! 10 out of 10.

Short get a way

Everything was great. Even let us turn down the air when asked. Our only complaint is the mattress need to be replaced with the king and queen upstairs. They fold in like a taco. If cooking you will need to buy all condiments and seasoning. We bought salt and pepper and donated. We also donated coffee filter and coffee.

Our stay

We started out with a minor issue of checking in, but Jessie and Kevin were amazing with communication. The property and the house were absolutely beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be using them again when we head back to Florida!

Fabulous time

Our family stayed over spring break and had a fabulous stay! Great home, convenient location. We enjoyed the stroll to the beach and the pool daily. The owners were great to communicate with also!

Perfect for families

Great property, it had everything we needed. Great location to the beach, restaurants and activities. Pool was heated so we got to enjoy it when the weather turned cooler. We would love to stay again in the future!

Great Location!

The property was very pleasant to stay in, and our group all enjoyed the house. The location is in the middle of a lot of things to do, including the beach, the restaurants/bars, and shopping areas. The hosts were very understanding and easy to communicate with, which was really nice! Unfortunately, the dishwasher was not working while we were there. Overall though, we would recommend this place to our friends and our families!
