Esta casa privada se encuentra en 5 acres con vista al río Guadalupe y está a poca distancia de Gruene, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake y San Marcos.
Hay cuatro habitaciones: la suite principal en la planta baja con una cama matrimonial y baño. Hay tres dormitorios adicionales arriba, dos con camas queen size y uno con dos camas individuales y un futón. Hay un baño completo arriba. La habitación familiar tiene un sofá con una cama plegable de tamaño queen para acomodaciones adicionales para dormir. Esta es una casa en pleno funcionamiento con los electrodomésticos básicos de cocina y lavandería.
Hay muchas actividades disponibles en la propiedad o en las cercanías, como senderismo, pesca, tubing, kayak, rafting, paddle board e incluso caza de punta de flecha. Hay una pequeña fogata y leña disponible para asar en esas noches frías. Hay mucha vida salvaje en la propiedad, como patos, gansos, grullas, venados y zorros, por nombrar algunos.

Great house off the beaten path

Great clean house with comfy beds and great A/C. The bones of the house, decor and furniture are a little dated but doesn't bother us one bit. It's a great secluded location to chill with family or friends. There's a beach area down on the river to hang out at & interact with floaters. Due to location on opposite side of river from River Road it takes a long time to get anywhere on River Road. BUT there's a tube rental place, Lone Star House & Grill, that you can walk down the river to & get your tubes and shuttle to float. If you Uber into town for dinner/drinks/dancing expect to pay a LOT to get back when the bars close.

We love staying here!

This is my 3rd time staying at this house. We’ll definitely come back. Great location! Lots of room to enjoy dinners, play games and just relax.

Love the location of this house ! This is our second time staying at the property. There were a few minor issues but nothing that stopped a good time. The host responded with any concerns we had.

Perfect Location!

We stayed at the home with 2 other families, the location was perfect. We had children with us and were able to let them play in the river without worry, as it was shallow. Easy walk across the river to get tubes to float. We had a wonderful time!

Great house and location!

We were a group of 10 friends age 45-55 and we loved the house and location! Plenty of room for everyone. We hung out in the river below the house our first day. The water isn’t very deep there so it’s possible to put chairs in the water and chill. When we were ready to float day two we were able to walk across the river to Lone Star to rent tubes and let them shuttle us to the spot matching the amount of time we wanted to float, so easy! The fridge quit cooling well while we were there and the owners drove over an hour to bring us a mini fridge for our meat and dairy, original was still fine for drinks and fruit. If you want to drive somewhere on river road it does take a while to get there even though it’s just across the river. Koozies was fun! We have already booked again for next year we loved it so much!!!

Always a good stay

It felt really good to be back for the 8th year in this rental property. It felt like I was back home and that’s exactly how the property owner Sophia made me feel. We will definitely be back in the future years.

Amazing stay!

Absolutely beautiful house and land. Host was AMAZING, house was pretty clean, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels! My ONE and ONLY complaint which is totally not the hosts fault, was the neighbors dogs. He lets them run wild. They chase the cars and come on to the property barking. Again, this is nobody’s fault and the stay was absolutely amazing, but if I had one and only complaint, that would be it. Thankfully there’s a lot of land so easy to get away from them!

Great location

The property is in a great location whether you want to chill in the water on the riverbank or rent from the business a short walk downstream. The area was loud when we washed it to be and quiet when we needed it to be. This is our second stay at this house and we’ll definitely be back next year!

Perfect location

This house was perfect, we go on a yearly river trip and this is one of the best houses we have been to. We had 9 people and house accommodated everyone. Had no problem getting an Uber to whitewater to watch concerts. River was very easy to get to and had a nice big rock area to set coolers. River behind house was easy to sit in and have a table set up to play games. Right across the river there was a tree lined bank that gave shade from about 2pm on. Lone star ice house was a short walk down the river where we rented tubes and also had lunch one day.

Best Spot!

Went with a group of 11 adults. Plenty of room, the location of the house is absolutely perfect! We will be returning!! We have done this trip for 8 years and we have now found the perfect spot!

Relax on the river

Our family had an excellent trip overall. The place had everything we needed for a family that cooks. It was a quiet place at the end of the road overlooking the river. It was relaxing to sit out front with a cup of coffee listening to the trickle of the river and watching the deer. We would definitely stay again.

Close to river

The property was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. We were able to walk a short 20-30 yards downhill to the river. The river itself was really shallow at that particular area, which is perfect if you have little ones. In the house, there was plenty of room for everyone.

Perfect River location

We had a great experience here! The house is very roomy, and the location is excellent. Lots of outdoor space to relax. We had 3 adult couples and the house fit us all comfortably, The hosts were very responsive, and the check in/check out process was easy. We only had one issue while staying and the hosts responded quickly to our concerns. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great weekend!

Best Vacy Home I Ever Stayed At

The property and house were absolutely beautiful. The river is low there so it was perfect for little ones. The kids play set in the yard was a plus. There was so much room in the house and on the property for everyone to spread out. The front porch was the best for me. So relaxing to sit and look out at the river and have my morning coffee. You can watch tubers float by all day. The Lone Star Float House is just about right across the river if you want to float. You can just walk across and go. The host, Ms. Sophie is wonderful. Annual Floatin With The Fellas

We had a great relaxing time. The house was clean had all the the kitchen & laundry room supplies/utensils available we needed. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked great, bathrooms were clean (could use bigger toilets for the bigger butts LoL). Outside was nice, clear view of toobers floating by. River accessible, we floated down to Lonestar Float House which is right across the river from house for beers, & burgers. They have live music on Sundays. Property has plenty of shade and 100 feet from the back of house is a really tall beautiful rock ledge, so there are no neighbors in any direction and there is a gate that we kept closed at the beginning of the driveway. We spent the nights around the fire pit and used the large Weber charcoal grill for grilling. Front patio was spacious and nice for morning coffee, there is plenty of space for parking. See if you can find the Texas van. We'll definitely be back. There is a park up the road that we were exploring and got run off by a lady that lived next to it. So stay out of park area.

This house is beautiful! It was very peaceful and serene. The house is very well kept and clean. The yard is amazing, a few steps to the river. We enjoyed a campfire nightly. Will definitely plan another trip here. And..the coffee was perfect on cool mornings!

Best River House Period

This is our 2nd annual river trip and staying at this great house. We will stay here again and again. Only thing I wish they had was coffee but that’s it! Would recommend over and over! Loved it!

Best Quarantine 2020 Vacay this YEAR 😎

This is actually our second year going back to back and as usual it was a blast. The home is always perfect, clean and ready for us. The owner Ms. Sophie is awesome always quick to help or if anything is needed she’s there. We will definitely rent again in the near future. We were so satisfied!

Great location and very homey!

Pictures and description do not do justice! This place was perfect! The home itself sits on a few acres overlooking the river. There is a trail with stairs straight to a rock on the river perfect for setting up a canopy and enjoying your day by the river and also very easy access to cross the river for tubing and shuttle purposes or to just hang out at the Lone Star Float House. Our group had a great time and will be returning.

Rare Find

The location of this precious property is perfect. The LoneStar tube rental place is Literally right down the river maybe 1,000 foot from the property. Me and my family were able to walk across the river to it and rent tubes, then get shuttled to the top of the river and float back down to the rental property. Just to be clear there IS RIVER ACCESS from the property maybe 300 feet from the front door, with steps going down to the river bank. When you get to the bottom of the steps there is a big rock that extends out to the river and is perfect for relaxing right on the river while tubers pass you by. There is a fire pit and grill on property that came in Great use, fire wood included. Sophia the owner is great at communicating in a timely manner and will answer any questions you will have. This house was very clean and well kept. My whole family was comfortable and properly accommodated. You will not find a better deal on a vacation rental property that is on the river.
