Excelente vista al balcón de la esquina frente al mar. Observe cómo las olas del golfo se encuentran con la prístina playa de arena blanca. Work Trips

Our condo wasn’t very clean upon arrival, I called they came right over to clean out the fridge. The last renter had let food drip and mold in the fridge causing a toxic smell. The housekeeper who came over to clean was excellent. But did t stop us from enjoying our time. This unit is a bit out dated and need updating but the view is exceptional!

Needs some TLC

Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay however this unit needs general maintaining (mold on shower tile main bedroom, repair and painting of entrance hall, cabinets need painted, trim needs painted, dishwasher worked but needs replaced). When we stripped the sheets to leave it was noted the middle bedroom had a stained mattress pad and the twin bed on the right had stains on the mattress.This is a wonderful location and with some TLC this could be a great unit.The decor was nice and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans.

Vacation with the family

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Condo was not clean, we had to wipe down the refrigerator, the cabinets. The floor was filthy had not been mopped. The toilet was dirty which the maintenance man did come up and clean the toilet. One of the twin beds had plywood under the mattress to keep it from sinking. The rail on balcony was loose. The Condo is spacious needs a few updates (mattresses) and a deep cleaning otherwise are stay was nice and the property outside was always well maintained and clean. We loved the grills and picnic table and grass area. I do recommend Bender Realty for rentals as they are always nice and helpful.

I Would Not Come Back To his Condo

Reviewer Comments: While the location of this condo is great, the condition of the interior was totally unacceptable.Upon walking into this unit, I was shocked at its condition. From a towel bar hanging off the wall on one side with wallboard hanging from it; to exterior balcony door missing a door handle; to showerhead hose coming apart, leaking and spraying outside shower area; to a jacuzzi that had a sign saying "jacuzzi doesn't work", etc. The lighting in condo was provided by 25 and and 40 watt bulbs which we replaced. While the management company tried very hard to make corrections, there was just too much.

Love the beach!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay on the beach; however, we had several issues. Number 1, the air was not working properly. When I called to check to see if someone could come out, they sent someone but he said he could not justify sending out an AC person because it was humid outside. I said ok, can you at least bring three box fans? He said he would try. He brought back one. We had three bedrooms and a person with us that cannot breathe very good that ended up having to go home. Then, the next night, it gets up to 80 again. At night, it should not do that. I called the after hours ER number because of the lady that was with us has the breathing problems. That man said he would get an AC man out as soon as possible. That was around midnight. The AC man did not come until 3 the next afternoon! He did find a problem with it and did fix it for our stay. The other problem was the dish washer. It did NOT clean our dishes. When I opened it, it STUNK BAD! We had to wash every single thing twice. Once before we used it, because the dishes in the cabinet were not very clean and then once after we used it. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again. We would love to be compensated for those three days that we were living in 80 degree weather in the condo and for having to take one of our people back. Thank you, Christy

Very disappointed

We paid $3500 for the week & expected to have a very nice rental that was well maintained. There were large cracks in the floor, paint was bubbled & peeling, tv trays were all over the house used as, the shower creaked with each step (I thought it was going to break as I moved), nails on the wall from where pictures were hung, wall decorations on the floor, cabinet wood was warped and falling apart, inside of cabinet was dirty & stained in bathrooms & kitchen. We had multiple dirty dishes we had to rewash. We usually have amazing condos & love them, but this was a bad experience. We were just very disappointed at the poor upkeep for the price that we paid.

Wonderful Stay at Surf Side Shores 1506

Reviewer Comments: Check-in was as easy as it can be thanks to the people at Bender Rental Office.The condo was as described with a few exceptions (missing light bulbs and lights as well as outlet plates, AC in one of the 3 bedroom seemed to keep the temperature at a lower level than in the rest of the condo).The kitchen was adequate and all appliances worked at the level expected.The balconies are wonderful and are where we spent a lot of our time. In a three bedroom condo it would be nice to have 6 (or more) chairs on the balcony so everyone would have a seat. The picture shows a table--when we went there wasn't a table on the balcony.There were plenty of carts and fast elevators in order to get items in and out of the condo.I am not sure this condo is a great value for what it is, but we went during the last week of June right before the 4th of July and that is the "high rate" season.

Reviewer Comments: When we got to the room the door was off at water heater in kitchen (we put it back but by time we left it fell again) wasnt able to check into room until almost 5 when i called at 4:40 to see if it was ready and they stated it had just finished being clean. That wasn't a problem but we got to the room and it was still dirty floors not swept chips under table donut under entertainment center and sand everywhere also something white like milk splashed all over the wall by fridge also the master bathtub looks like it hasnt been cleaned in months with black stains all in tub. The first bedroom when you walk into the condo stayed extremely hot like the ac wasn't working very well in that room and we did make sure those vents where open.The condo it self was just very outdated with a lot of flaws for the price. I have always stayed at surfside shores and this was by far the worse room we have ever stayed in. The ladys in the office was very friendly and nice (as always) we did enjoy our time at the beach and pool and didnt really stress over the room issues but i did want to express my concerns for future rentals.

Great company but room needed work.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bender realty staff were so friendly and got our room ready super fast for check in. However the room we stayed in needed repairs. One of the beds was on plywood, the light in one bedroom didn’t work, the jacuzzi tub didn’t work, the refrigerator never really got cold, the balcony door come off the tracks the first time I opened it, the hot water room door kept falling off. But their were good highlights to the room as well. It was the most stocked condo I have ever stayed in in my 17 years of visiting gulf shores. It had almost every kitchen appliance you could think of and was stocked with plenty of pillows, towels and seating!.

Good and Bad

Reviewer Comments: our family of 7 wanted to enjoy the a vacation on the beach with an ocean view. We rented surf side shores condo 1506. We did have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We did have the ocean view we desired. However the condo is in serious need of updating. Mainly the balcony and bathrooms. The bathrooms were dirty . The balcony railing is unsafe for a toddler. We could not relax when our toddler joined us in the balcony because the posts on the railing was too far apart. Our family enjoyed the pool and beach very much. The management was very curious and helpful. However parking was an issue. The were times when we did not have a place to park.

Nice getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first visit to Gulf Shores. We had a big group come with us and this rental was just what we needed. Spacious, right on the beach, close/walking distance to restaurants, swimming pool, Wi-Fi, etc. The rental could use some cosmetic updates to the bedrooms, bathrooms, and patio. The patio was a huge letdown. There were chairs but no table and some of the chairs were broken. Most of our time was spent out here watching the beach activity and enjoying the view. It should have been an extension of the living space instead of an afterthought of chairs. The other rental balconies were well equiped with updated comfy looking patio furniture. Overall the rental met our needs. I think with an updated bathroom, bedroom, and patio will put this unit over the top.
