Perfect Week at the Beach

The property was clean, had everything we needed for the week, and was in a great location. The building was quiet which was perfect for my kids mid-day naps after a morning on the beach, and it was great to not have to pack beach chairs and boogie boards as they were provided.

Nice, but noisy neighbors

•the beach is lovely; I wouldn’t call it private though, because it seems anyone can buy a beach pass, so the beach is more crowded than I expected •very close proximity to the beach, and the boardwalk. Plenty to do in the area. •access to the beach chairs, umbrellas & beach toys was very convenient & appreciated •right when we got there I took off my shoes when I walked in, stepped on the floor in bare feet & the first thing I noticed was sand from the floor sticking to my feet •we were not told in advance that we had to pay for beach badges ($170 for 4 passes, everyone 13 & up needs one), we found out in our greeting email that was sent a few days before, and the owner didn’t even have correct details on the cost. The greeting book in the condo also had wrong information about pricing for these. It would’ve been nice to know I needed to come up with almost $200 extra just to use the private beach. •the upstairs neighbors were very noisy, sound proofing in this building is obviously not very good. The across the hall neighbors could be heard the minute they spoke above a speaking voice, especially in the hallway. We have stayed in many condos, and never heard this much noise from other people. We did alert the owners, who talked to the management office, they were very kind about helping. The problem is more so that the building isn’t sound proofed well. I would consider that while making this reservation. The owners were very responsive to our complaint.

Perfect location

Nice condo steps from the beach. Literally! The beach is super quiet in September. The outside deck was nice for eating outside. All furniture was comfortable. (The bed was super comfy!) The shower was high which I appreciated being tall with great water pressure. Directions were all accurate and the owners were quick to communicate. Thank you for sharing your home.

Fantastic beach

Very adequate condo for mom - just enough space for her and occasional visitors. She had very easy access to the beach and the beach gear was a bonus! The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture comfortable. But pack light- there is not a lot of storage in these condos!

Beach Life

Beautiful condo with all the amenities of home. Short proximity to the beach and boardwalk. We loved the deck and the access to beach chairs, etc. Owners were quick to respond any time we texted them. We look forward to staying here again.

great week with family at the beach

My husband and I had a relaxing week with our two college age daughters at Ortley Beach. The condo was perfect with everything we needed in it. It was right on the beach with a beautiful view from the porch. If we had had any problems (which we did not), the owners were easy to get in touch with -- they sent us info about check-in by text message a few days before our arrival, and then again once we got there to make everything was ok. We loved the beach. It was never crowded and everyone was friendly.

Great views and steps from the beach!

My family had a wonderful week at the shore! The views were stunning, condo was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved that we were so close to the boardwalk and kept telling us this is the best vacation ever! Jeanette was so responsive and attentive throughout the entire process. We created lovely memories and would definitely return to this property.

Ortley beach house

The owners were wonderful to work with. The location was great and perfect for our stay. It was so nice to wake up and step right outside onto the beach!

Great Location!

The condo was well equipped, even with more than we were expecting. One issue we had was addressed quickly by the owners. It was so nice to be able to just walk right out to the PRIVATE beach. Having two assigned parking spaces was great as well. We can say enough about this great property!

Ocean view

Stayed a week with my wife and three year old son. We're not new to Seaside, and have stayed at a neighboring rental. Have to say our stay at Rick and Jeanette's was very enjoyable. They were very communicative about the accessibility of the condo, if we needed anything, and our check out information/reminders. They even texted us Friday to say we were "welcome to stay as late as you want". Overall the condo was clean, stocked with dishes and silverware, appliances all worked, and even had toiletries and paper products offhand (even though we brought our own, it's a nice touch for those who may forget). The balcony view was amazing - could see over the dunes and out over the ocean!

A lovely visit

Jeanette and Rick warmly welcomed us to their property and communicated regularly to ensure that our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Their condo was cute, clean, and appointed with any necessities we might need throughout the week. There were even some kids games that our boys had lots of fun playing! It was a treat to start the day with beautiful ocean views and the beach and boardwalk steps outside your door!

Great stay at the Jersey Shore!

We had a great stay with my family (2 kids 9 and 6) here over the week. The direct access to the private beach was terrific. The owners were very responsive and they had a lot of equipment for the beach. Definitely would stay here again!

Great Location!!

This beautiful condo is located right on the beach. Beautiful views and a short walk to the boardwalk. My two small kids loved every minute of it. The owner Jeanette was always available thru email and text. We had an amazing week. The private beach was great and not crowded at all. Close to main strip of stores and restaurants. Would definitely return!!

Can't beat the access to the private beach!

We enjoyed trip to the beach so much! The owners were so easy to communicate with and sop helpful throughout the whole process! The condo is clean and RIGHT on the beach. Perfect for those with little kids to come and go from the beach as needed for naps and meals. Nearby to grocery stores, pharmacies, and Lavallette beach town. Great location! We had a great time!!

Exactly what we needed - nothing more, nothing less!

My wife and two young boys (2 years and 2 months) enjoyed a quiet, restful post-Labor day week. The house was clean and easy to access and had everything we needed available. Proximity to the beach as well as the owner’s big wheeled beach cart made the daily set up a breeze. Owners were responsive and friendly via text message for the whole stay. Will likely come back again!

Great Family Escape to the Beach

This home is perfect for a family beach vacation. Its location can't be beat - it is part of a private beach right next to the boardwalk. You can walk to the boardwalk day/night - or just stroll down / play at the beach. The "beach cottage" themed townhouse is tastefully decorated - and had everything we needed for a day at the beach (or you can just view the beach from the patio). We hope to visit again … this is a seaside gem!

Ortley beach

Had a great time with the family! This rental is in a prime spot. Walk onto the beach and a block from the boardwalk. Also near to necessities at the pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants, and liquor store.

You will love it! The Oceanfront view is amazingly beautiful! Being steps away from the ocean is simply the best! We love to take walks on the beach and being near the boardwalk. You will make memories to last a lifetime!
