We had an amazing time, the house was the perfect size for the 9 of us and our 2 dogs. Can’t wait to go back, I had so many friends ask me for the info as they all loved the pics.

Amazing Oceanfront Family Rental

The place was amazing and perfect for our family get together at the Ocean. The panoramic view of the ocean was amazing. Everything was immaculate clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The property management responded to a few questions we had in a quick manner. It was spacious and perfect for our growing family of 10 adult kids and 1 grandchild. Would definitely stay there again in the near future. Best place ever!

Perfect for a family get-together

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented 2&3 for our son-in-law's 40th birthday party. He was surprised, as we had his mother and aunt there before he arrived. It was a great get together as we have two sets of twins (2 and 11 months) and didn't want to do anything else that would involve a lot of Covid restrictions. The little ones couldn't get out to the beach, but there was an enclosed sand area where they played for hours. I liked that we all had our own bedroom and bathrooms. I wanted a couple of things fixed, and they management company came out and dealt with it promptly and politely. This is a great set up for a family and friends get together.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house location is the best and it is exactly the same as pictured! The house is clean and the property manager is very responsive to emails. Gaining access to the garage and side doors were easy. Everything went as smoothly as it can be. There are a few areas where I would like to call out so future renters are aware of. (1) We rented the ground and second floors of the house. When people walked or ran around on the top floor, you can hear it very clearly. So if possible, rent out the entire house. (2) Steps/pathway to the beach is broken, there's no direct access to the beach which was extremely disappointing to us. I wish it was noted on the description. (3) There is no stove on the second floor, the only way to cook is on the ground floor. All in all, my family and I had a great time! We love our stay and will definitely stay here again!!

Lovely beachfront property

We had a very comfortable 5 night stay. The beds were all comfortable and the very basics (dish soap, laundry pods, body wash)were supplied. The beach access for this house is a short walk down the road; but the tide was typically up to the rocks. So for beach time we drove up to Mission Beach.

A Relaxing Week

Perfect place for a large group, right on the water. Would be nice if the stairs to the beach got fixed, but it's still easy enough to get down by walking over a few houses.

Cant Beat the View but Updating Needed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are not that many ocean front properties you can rent for just a few days in So Cal, so this property gets 5 stars for location, and that may be enough to some to overcome the rental price and the issues at the property that need some serious replacement or updating. Cushions and throw pillows need to be replaced - stained and dirty! There is no laundry soap, tin foil, sandwich bags etc. This doesn't cost a lot and should be provided. Two of the chairs outside were broken ( legs rotted). Propane tank was empty in the upstairs fire pit- but we knew how to replace it. We could not find any throw blankets to use to sit on the patio in the cold, misty morning. The hairdryer was completely rusted. The downstairs slider doesn't lock and made us fearful to have kids sleeping downstairs alone, though it is a pretty secure location. These are easy fixes, but take a bit of TLC which is lacking perhaps due to constant turnover. That said, if you want a lot of space ( the stairs are steep from floor to floor and not a good choice for those with mobility problems or toddlers) and an amazing oceanfront, semi-private ( neighbors on both sides) getaway, then you can't go wrong with this location. Still, a little bit of expense sprucing this place up and providing a few comfort items that most rentals provide, would go far. We didn't want to leave for our 2 days, so we used Uber Eats and made one run to the local Target ( about 10 minutes away by freeway). Rental staff is excellent and responded timely when we could not get the bedroom TV to work. We would probably come to this property again if one nearby that we prefer was not available if for no other reason the oceanfront location and peace. Happy travels!

Don’t book here

This is managed by a property management company called Beachfront property rentals in Oceanside. The layout of the rental was not described accurately and the units are poorly maintained. Many of the walls were damaged and dirty, we had itchy bedding, broken appliances, we could clearly hear the neighbors in the rental unit above, the shared patio and entrance was awkward, and the parking spaces are really tight. Only two of the rooms had King beds as described, some rooms had A/C unit but not all of them were working, there’s a broken window on the first floor, the overall floor plan for this unit is poorly designed, and the kitchens are ill equipped. This was NOT a luxury rental much less a family friendly one. There are narrow stairs connecting the unit and multiple points of entry which were security concerns. The vents and TVs were all covered in dust and dirt along with floors. Our feet were black the first 15 minutes we were there. The only thing nice about this place was the view.

Great photographer- not a great vacation

This rental is two separate units that are attached through an interior door. When we arrived we could not get into the second unit. I had to call multiple times, sit on hold, text, and then finally had to demand that they send someone to the property. About an hour and a half after we arrived we were in to the second unit. This unit was beyond dirty. My entire group took off our shoes as soon as we entered the property, but within a few hours our feet were black. I can guarantee that they do not mop. There were what appeared to be coffee stains and drips on the walls, cobwebs behind doors, rings of dirt on the walls near high touch surfaces, and dried soap very clearly on the walls in the bathroom. To put it nicely, this property is tired. There are huge gouges in the walls from furniture, there are drywall patches that have not been painted, there is tape to hold the umbrella in place, the lower dishwasher rack didn’t fit, one of the coffee makers was broken, and the maintenance staff advised us not to close the patio door all the way because it won’t open again. One of the BBQs would not work (tried two different tanks), the second BBQ had a broken lid, not all of the electrical outlets worked, and they really need a take a screwdriver to the dining chairs before someone falls and hurts themselves. It really needs a coat of paint and a good scrubbing. If you are a cozy sleeper I’d highly suggest bringing your own blankets. All of the beds have very thin sheets over them, but there are equally thin blankets scattered throughout the house in various spots. I had to use 3 blankets on top to feel warm in the night. There are space heaters and fans throughout the house. On the plus side, the beds are comfortable and the view was great. You hear the neighbors in the other unit clear as a day. The first night the other unit was screaming at the top of their lungs well into the night I had to finally call the police (non-emergency) because it sounded like people were getting hurt. I emailed the property managers and they didn’t respond for 36+ hours later. They will charge you $50 if you call them after hours and they don’t deem it an “emergency”. Just do yourself a favor and keep scrolling to find something else. I feel like I was catfished.

The property was great the only issue was when we checked in there was no real description of what doors, one door was downstairs and one was upstairs kind of confusing.

Tired Vacation Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures advertised are a little misleading. There is no tile outside just turf. You cannot access the beach from the gate in the front since the stairs have been swept away (seems like ages ago). The location is great to watch the waves etc but now you have to exit the rental on the roadside to access the beach - an inconvenience when you thought you could access directly (there was zero mention of the no access from the yard). Good selection of things you would need to make your stay hospital from a utensil, cutlery & crockery perspective. There is a fridge & dishwasher & microwave on the top floor but no oven or hob so everything needs to be done on the lower floor but the bigger seating arrangement is on the upper floor - quite weird really. There are no lamps or down lighting so come evening time - you only have the overhead can lights on (which feels like a landing strip for planes) or darkness. Gas bottle for the heater outside was empty & the grill could only provide 1 meal (of 5 nights) before the gas ran out of that also. The apartment is tired & probably needs a lick of paint & other cosmetic improvements. It wasn’t terribly clean on our arrival with much sand on the floors etc. The top level doors to the balcony are finicky and took people a few turns how to figure out opening it. Finally, for the rate we were paying a night you might expect some half decent shampoo & conditioner (after salty swimming) available but it was watered down & not a very pleasant smell. I would recommend bringing your own product. We probably wont stay at this rental again unfortunately, which is a shame because it could be so much better than what state it currently is in.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd stay with Beachfront Only and it was as awesome as usual! There were some minor problems, but they were taking care of immediately. For example, we couldn't figure out how to open the panoramic glass door to the patio, and they had someone out there within minutes. There were some minor cleaning issues, like toothpaste on the wall in the bathroom and a dirty banister, but nothing that we couldn't take care of ourselves. The house was so well stocked that my mother regretted bringing too much with her that she didn't end up needing. The views were breathtaking and the beach was only a few steps away. We loved it and will be back again!

Amazing Rental Inside & Out!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a great stay with Beachfront Only staying at this lovely unit. The inside is very spacious with 2 generous kitchen spaces, 5 bedrooms all with King size beds, and plenty of outdoor space. We had an awesome time hanging out on the patio and shared private beach area. The glass window / door on the upper level was perfect, we had a fabulous view of the ocean. I would definitely stay here again!

This property is awesome! It exceeded our expectations and they even accommodated our 2 pups. Perfect place to relax and close to everything in Oceanside!

Spring Break Girls Trip

We had SUCH a great time at this property. We never even wanted to leave the house, it was so pretty! The space was also AMAZING and everyone had plenty of room.
