A beautiful property in a gorgeous part of Gunnison. Gourmet kitchen and many nice outdoor areas with luxurious and spacious dining room. Check-in was easy and Host was very quick and good with communication. An incredible stay filled with wonderful memories.

Just like coming home!

This is our third or fourth stay. We just keep coming back. It’s so quiet. So many different outside areas to enjoy the scenery, weather, horses, and peacefulness. The accommodations and kitchens are stocked with useful and functional items. Can’t ask for more.

CAVU Family and Gunnison Balloon Rally

Second time we have stayed, and it won't be the last!!! Balloon crew and pilot (4 couples) for the annual Gunnison Balloon Rally. Amazing property, wonderfully maintained. View, accommodations, everything is perfectly arranged. This is our "go to" location for the Gunnison Valley. Cannot wait to be back again. Family Time

We love this property and it's our second time staying here! Easy communication with Stan & Pam and Elizabeth is easy to reach for any questions. Making memories here with our adult kids was fantastic. Gunnison Valley and surrounding areas have wonderful outdoor options. Wiley Spur Ranch never disappoints! Peace & Tranquility

Second time we've stayed at this property. Very close to town and grocery, gas, etc. but it feels out in the country. Very quiet and peaceful. This year we got to watch the hay gathering process for two days and it was awesome. There are so many places outside to enjoy and each offers sun, shade, view, bench swing, etc. The best part are the colors in the morning - blue sky, white clouds, golden acreage cut by a wood fence and horses. No technology beyond a camera is needed. See you next August.

Peaceful and Magical Family Retreat

This property is absolutely stunning in every way! The details and accommodation in the home were beyond expectations! There was plenty of space for the family of 7 to spread out, play games, cook meals and so many gathering spots to sit and take in the breathtaking views. Hikes from the property in the morning and campfires at night, you could not ask for a better setup! Also close enough to downtown Gunnison as well as Crested Butte for shopping, food, and site seeing. The owners and property manager were all so very helpful and accommodating. We created memories that will last us a lifetime and our so grateful to have experienced this magical place!!

Spring Break in Colorado (we are from Texas)

There are not enough words to say how amazing this place is. The view, the snow, Elizabeth - everything was perfect. The cabin is beautiful with everything you could possibly need. The heated floors, a first for us since we are from Texas and they are truly fabulous, Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is beautifully done - perfect!! Elizabeth the caretaker was so helpful, she helped us find ski clothes for our grandchildren, told us where to shop, even letting us know that the roads were clear for us to travel home. We made the most wonderful memories this place is truly magical and we will be back. We also made friends with the horses in next field, Mr. Grumpy and Ms. Penny - every time they saw us come out with a red solo cup they new they were getting a treat - apples, carrots and grapes. Thank you Stan and Pam for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Amazing Property in Gunnison!

This is an amazing property and the memories we created here will be cherished for a very long time to come. The house is perfectly complete with everything you need and is surrounded by stunning views. You get all the privacy you want, but are just 10 minutes from downtown Gunnison. We hope to be able to come back one day to relive it all over again!

Perfect Property For A Family Wedding

The grooms family stayed at this property and it was perfect. The wedding was not held at the property but the location, accommodations and cleanliness was outstanding. It is close enough to town for the events but so peaceful out on the property. Our group had one family with little ones so the remodeled cabin was ideal with a kitchen area, laundry and a bit more space. The two bedrooms in the new house are super comfortable and fun. The bunk room was the biggest hit! Everyone loved the space, the bathroom design and we often had our morning coffee up there planning the day. This is a super place and you will not be disappointed.

Amazing Wedding Weekend

My fiancé and I booked this property for our wedding and it couldn’t have been better. The location was so scenic and perfect for our event. Talk about an amazing backdrop for our ceremony! The grounds had plenty of room for outdoor events and lots of areas for conversing and relaxing. The fire pit was amazing for late night hang outs. The house was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed. We cooked for our event and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin served as a perfect bridal suite to give us enough privacy while still feeling connected to our guests. My wife and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the property and we already want to go back!!

Spectacular property for family holiday in Gunnison/Crested Butte.

We visited with my elderly parents and grown children for a week of wedding events. The ranch far exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The old cabin (completely and authentically renovated) connects to the new modern house by a large and bright breezeway that captures the 360 degree views. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need! The events barn was a bonus to the property and we rented that for the rehearsal dinner. Definitely planning to stay here again. Thanks Stan, Pam, and Elizabeth!

Outstanding

I was looking for a private place and this property came up. I can not express how amazing this property is. It is huge and I could easily see group gatherings like family reunions, weddings etc. being a joy in this historic and unique space. The old Minor's Cabin connected to a dream huge house and the surrounding property were beautiful. There is a DREAM kitchen and although we did not use it a gorgeous "banquet" type facility for events. Stan, Pam and Elizabeth were friendly and helpful during the entire stay. If I could give this 6 stars I would but 5 is the limit. THANK YOU!

Birthday week in Gunnison/ Crested Butte

The house is awesome- it’s the best property we’ve rented in Colorado thus far! It’s truly a mix of the old (restored cabin) and the new with all the modern conveniences! The location is perfect- easy access to the airport in Gunnison and about a 30 minute drive to the slopes. Yet the area is remote enough to feel the country vibe. And you wake up to 360 views of the mountains. Stan was easy to communicate with, as with Elizabeth ( the concierge). We had a “ hiccup” during our stay - the toilet drains backed up due to frozen pipes ( not the owner’s fault, weather related & happening all around town). But the owners responded as quick as possible getting a plumber on a Sunday afternoon and getting everything fixed ( what a relief!). I wish the internet was faster- it affected the tv download speed. The bedroom in “old cabin” had the fastest speed because the router was in there. I don’t recall seeing another router. All in all it was a 5* stay. We hope to back!

We first found Crested Butte and Gunnison almost 35 years ago and brought our kids here to learn to ski. After several years absence we returned to the area and experienced the four seasons and decided we needed a place for our kids to come with their kids to enjoy the great outdoors!

When you drive up you will know why we fell in love with the property. You can see from the pictures its unique style and the amenities it has to offer. A 40 acre horse property with 360 views of the mountains and just 7 minutes from town and 20 minutes from Crested Butte. Year around activities and prefect temperatures!
