Apt. 7703' - In-town livin', few blocks from downtown shops & restaurants

Custom built in 2019, this guest apartment has plenty of space to feel at home. It’s a comfortable place to relax after a day out adventuring in the Gunnison Valley! The convenient, in-town location is a short walk to Gunnison shops and restaurants, just around the corner from Legion Park (free music Sundays @ 6:00) and right near Western Colorado University campus. While we are respectful of our guest' privacy, note that we do live on the property and regularly use our garage below and the separate backyard (mostly the kids running around playing).

You will find a fully equipped kitchen with seating for four around the peninsula. The open concept layout makes it nice to enjoy the company of those you're with while cooking and unwinding. The outdoor deck located off the kitchen is equipped with a gas grill. Other amenities include a full-size front-loading washer and dryer, heated floors for your comfort in the cold months, wireless internet on the property and a ROKU television to access your favorite internet channels (no network tv though). In addition to the two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed the other with a queen, the living room couch has a pull-out double bed, that is suitable for two children, or 1 adult. Please note that for safety reasons we don’t allow small children to stay because the staircase is open and steep but immobile babies are welcome.

The free RTA bus to Crested Butte regularly stops only 1 block away. This abode is an ideal basecamp for biking, hiking, rafting, SUPing, fishing, boating on Blue Mesa, climbing, skiing and anything else you can dream up to do in the Gunnison Valley! We are happy to give you local advice and share our favorite spots to adventure!

I love the central location in Gunnison -- easy to walk to university or downtown, The apartment is very modern and clean. The only problems were the key box combo didn't work (but the property manager came immediately and opened the unit) and I had some trouble with some of the tv channels -- it was slow and some channels would shut off after I started watching a program. Property manager was very kind and helpful. I loved my stay -- its an excellent option! I will definitely stay again or counsel friends and family to stay here.

Fantastic place to stay in Gunny!

We thoroughly enjoyed living here for one month! It is next to a big park, a nice trail system and close to shops and restuarants downtown. The hosts were fantastic! I would highly recommend this property.

Gunnison gem!

CLEAN!!! Absolutely spotless place to stay, really close to campus which was perfect for our family to visit our college student while also in a VERY quiet neighborhood. Across the street from the park & playground, great neighborhood for walking with the local deer. Plentiful towels, washcloths, kitchen utensils, even coffee & coffee filters which we usually have to go purchase upon arrival. Beautifully done with modern new stainless appliances (also spotless), beautiful countertops, & very nice furniture. Very prompt communication with the host & we will definitely book again!

The listing is exactly as described and the host is highly responsive. The apartment is immaculate, well furnished, and roomy for a family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked. The apartment location is great for walking to the Main Street in Gunnison. It’s only 28 miles to Crested Butte, less than 20 to Blue Mesa Reservoir and other attractions. Check-in and check-out were super easy. We look forward to booking apartment 7703 for all future trips to the Gunnison area. Thank you for a super stay.

GREAT IN-TOWN LOCATION

Very clean nicely appointed "mother-in-law" (ADU) apartment. Nice open design with vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, washer/dryer and it's own entrance off the alley. Nice deck off the kitchen and 3 minute walk to Main Street in Gunnison

The best!

Our group of 4 adults had a great trip to Gunni! This apartment is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed the space for puzzles and card games. Location is perfect for visiting WCU - you can easily walk to campus or Main St for restaurants. Our host, Colleen, was very kind and responsive. We will definitely stay again!!

CB Ski Weekend

Awesome place. Well built, cozy and warm. Our party was 2 adults and 2 kids under age 12, and the size was just right. 40ish minutes from parking at Mt. Crested Butte. Will stay again next time we need a place in the Gunnison Valley.

Gunny Get Away

This is a fantastic space located within walking distance of downtown Gunnison. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it made for perfect access to restaurants, paddle boarding on Blue Mesa, and hiking in Crested Butte. The owner is very friendly and responsive!

Nice apartment very close to downtown

The property is very nicely furnished, with a full kitchen and laundry. Very comfortable and clean, and the owners were great to deal with. I will definitely stay there again.
