Lo logramos a través del huracán Michael: todavía no hay televisión ni internet.

¡Relajarse! Estás en tiempo de playa. Recién actualizados a casa con pintura fresca, ropa de cama y decoración. Tres dormitorios de los cuales dos están equipadas con camas de tamaño completo, dormitorio principal con baño en suite incluye una cama de matrimonio. Segundo baño tiene una combinación de bañera / ducha y tocador actualizada. cocina de tamaño amplio con comedor adyacente. Sala de estar es cómoda (sofá, silla reclinable y) - relajarse y ver la televisión en la pantalla plana. Paso fuera en el porche y cenar al aire libre mientras disfruta de atardeceres. Convenientemente ubicado al otro lado de la calle ya muy poca distancia a pie de la playa. Las facilidades de lavandería. Hacen de este lugar su hogar lejos de casa. Awesome!

My family and I had a great stay at this house. It was just right for our group! We were across the street from a great restaurant (Toucan's) and the beach, right behind a convenience store and walking distance from several other places. It was fairly quiet and easy to access. Highly recommend!

I would recommend this property to someone or family who is looking for a non crowded beach experien

House is very clean with great beach theme decorations. Half block off beach. I would recommend that the owners put a new mattress in the second bedroom. Also, supplying beach chairs and an umbrella would be great. I would consider staying here again!

Thanks for your review. You are correct, we do not provide a BBQ grill or internet and neither are included in our advertised amenities. We regret that you did not enjoy your stay more. We feel our accommodations are aligned and priced well with other properties in Mexico Beach.

Adorable cottage!

The house was easy to find, conveniently placed one street across from the beach. A convenience store is less than thirty feet away from the front porch. The rooms and kitchen were well appointed with all the necessities and everything was spotless when we arrived. Our trip was unfortunately cut short due to poor weather, but the owners were very accommodating (more so than they were obliged to be) and gave us a refund for the days we had to miss due to inclement weather. I fully plan to visit this area again, hopefully not during a storm!

Great location, cute house!

This house is perfectly located in the heart of Mexico Beach in walking distance to restaurants/groceries/ and only a block from the beach. This kitchen has most basics (we couldn't find a cutting board, but had no other issues) that you would need, it has laundry on site, two bathrooms, and was kept nice and tidy. I would definitely come back to stay again.

Wonderful, clean and cozy cottage

We absolutely loved your cottage! Within a crabwalk to everything. Very quiet even though you’re so close to many amenities! Clean and very charming with the screened in porch made for great storytelling at night! We are originally from Wewa and came to town for the Tupelo Honey Festival, just a short drive. We are already talking about a trip in the fall! Thanks for everything. The Pitts Family

Our standards were not met ;(

Very poorly remodeled throughout. Fresh paint and coastal décor does not hide things. A weight limit should be put on the master bath. Floors and shower floor were rotted. Mold. Painted over urine around the toilet. Trash from previous tenants under the beds. Overall cleaning service was awful to say the least. I could go on and on, suffice to say that we will not recommend this cottage (which is a manufactured home, trailer) not a cottage. The location was the only good thing.

David - Thank you for the review. We appreciate you bringing the concerns to our attention. We were unaware of the issues in the bath and immediately sent our contractor to the property to assess the damage. Unbeknownst to us, the shower had been slowly leaking in the bath and caused water damage. Repairs and upgrades have been made and this is no longer an issue. The bath is now nicer and newer than before. Overall, we believe the property is in good condition - the upgrades and decor we have chosen are aligned with or above other properties in Mexico Beach with similar advertised nightly rates. We are disappointed that your standards were not met - if you should choose to stay with us again, we will be more than happy to work out compensation with your for your troubles. If you had contacted us upon your discovery of the issues, we would have made other arrangements for you to stay in another nearby property or provided you with a full refund. As you can see, all of our other reviews are 4-5 star. This was definitely an isolated incident. Take care.

The Perfect Getaway!

We absolutely recommend this property for your next Mexico Beach vacation! We didn't have to drive anywhere...a convenience store, restaurants, and the beach is literally a 60 sec walk.

Great location. Central to all the different activities and beaches. Our stay was comfortable. Lots of hot water and AC after a hot day at the beach. Only thing needed was for the closets to have a place to hang up clothes. Outside needs a little TLC. We would recommend it to others.

Beach Lover

This is a perfect location in the heart of Mexico Beach. Easy walk to beach, grocery store & restaurants. You can park your car & not get back in till it is time to go home if you so desire. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch early mornings & evenings. Inside is nicely decorated & comfortable. No steps or elevators to contend with. Spacious & affordable equipt with everything you need to have a great vacation. Owners are very responsive. Looking forward to my next visit:)

Our stay here was just PERFECT! It was just what our family needed! We experienced a lot of R & R here at this cottage! It was very accomodating for each one of us. We had plenty of room here with three bedrooms and two baths. It was very up to date and happy! We really enjoyed the screened in porch and how easy the walk was over to the ocean! We were able to cook some meals here and eat out during our stay. If you are looking for a beautiful place to vacation, this is it! We LOVED the slower pace of this town. We had a lot of fun exploring the area! Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

Comfy and Convenient Snowbirds

The location of the cottage is convenient to stores, restaurants, and the beach. All within walking distance. The front screened porch is lovely, and affords you a nice view of what is going on. The location is busy, with cars, golf carts and pedestrians. Monday through Friday city cars and trucks stop on the street for breaks and lunch. This is a back entrance to the gas station/ store. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated. We were the first snowbird rental, and gave them our personal suggestions. As new owners they need renters feedback to work the bugs out. No place is perfect, but the owners are committed to improving the place, in the short time they have owned it. Only downside is they don't have WIFI, and as a long term renter, we will no longer rent without it. In this day and age, we pay our bills and everything else on the Internet. Our phone data plans were not enough to last a month. Hopefully they will include this in the future.

We really enjoyed our week stay here. It's clean and everything is there for you. Just bring clothes and food and you're all set. So much better than a motel. Very close to the ocean. We took our bikes and rode all over the place. It's like a home away from home. We highly recommend it for anyone any age. We will be going back at least twice next year.

We had such a relaxing time at this beautiful cottage. The photos you have online were very representative of what we found. Everything was super clean and all appliances, TV, etc. worked great, which you don't find very often. The location was ideal with Restaurants, Grocery Shopping, and the Beach within short walking distance from the cottage. BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS AND BEACH. Also, loved our Antiquing, shopping, sightseeing we did just a short drive over to Port St Joe, and Cape San Blas. We have told our Friends and Family about this lovely place. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Convenient and Cozy!

During my families stay at this cottage we experienced convenience and comforatability! The beach is so close that we just walked and didn't have to worry about getting our car all sandy. The grocery store and other restaurants are only minutes away. The screened in porch was a major plus for this property! We spent lots of time out there in the evenings watching the sunset! We will definitely be coming back!
