Spring Skiing Was Great

It was a terrific stay. Its a nice place, but you are paying for the ski access not a luxury condo.I would come back again, no doubt.

Safe, quiet, clean - really everything we needed for a quick stay in a new area that we were checking out. This place will be great in the winter, easy access to Purgatory slopes, etc..

Fantastic location

The condo was perfect for our family of five (two adults and three young kids). It was well-stocked and clean, and a short walk to the area right under the Graduate Lift, so you can easily ski down to the beginner area or walk over to Lift 1. The ski locker was even in a convenient location. Laurie was responsive and helpful. I would recommend the condo to friends and family.

Comfy modern cozy stay

We had some concerns when we arrived but Laurie responded promptly and took care of the matter. This VRBO has everything you need and its location is walking distance to Purgatory ski resort which offers both winter and summer activities.

Great Location!

Super responsive and attentive owner. There were a few small glitches on arrival and the owner responded immediately and addressed everything we needed. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was a short and easy walk to the slopes. We had a fabulous stay!

EXCELLENT STAY!

Everything was smooth and simple for the right price. We were a VERY short walk from the resort and had everything we needed to have fun and relaxing time on the mountain. I could not have asked for a better experience. The hot tub was also a nice touch! I'll definitely be heading back!

We had a fantastic start at Laurie’s condo in Purgatory Resort! It is super convenient to the lifts and the village. The size of the condo was perfect for our family of 3, and it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the space was well-organized, and the shower had great water pressure! We cooked quite a few meals and we felt right at home (the silverware was even the same set we have!). I highly recommend this condo and we will definitely stay here again!

Nice stay at Purgatory

We stay in a lot of vacation rentals, this is a very nice, updated condo. Kitchen is well stocked and communication was good. Didn’t give 5 stars because of no washer/drying in unit and building is old, with no view from our side of condo. But location to Purgatory is great and easy access to Hwy 550 and Durango was great.

The property wasn't exactly terrible, but there was an issue with air in the water pipes and as I msg the property owner and sent her a video of the issue to give her a heads up, she accused me of the issue. I didn't appreciate the accusation. Her moto is you can stay but don't touch anything. For being newly renovated, the go cheap option was obvious. Especially the panel being held on by velcro. There was no a/c unit, and no security lock on the door. The property was as expected for the price. The rating is more for the property owner.

We wish we would have had more detailed information about the spa. We couldn't locate the door the first night. After texting we were able to soak the second night. Everything was sufficient for our needs. Beautiful area, especially during Fall.

Great location

This cozy getaway was a perfect size for our family of 4 and it was a short walk away from the main slopes. The only issue we had was cleanliness. There were stains/gunk on the bottom of the shower (thankfully, we brought shower shoes) and dog hair on the furniture and floor. It’s just needed a good vacuum/swiffer. We also found trash lodged in the pull out couch that my daughters slept on but we did have clean sheets and blankets. Overall, the location was convenient and you’ll have everything you need for a nice weekend getaway.

Ski Trip with grandchildren

The check-in was easy and the condo was as advertised on vbro. It was very clean, everything was ready for us to move in for several days of skiing. It is a short distance form the lifts and that's great when walking with 3 little ones. The ski locker at condo was great so we had a place to store skis and poles. Lauri went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and asked if we needed anything else. She was so good to get back to us and answer any questions we had regarding the condo or resort. We are hoping to return again, the kiddos have already asked if we can return next year. Thank you Lauri for some "Memories" with our littles.

Great Location, Badly Used Furniture

The location was perfect. We were there in the Summer and were riding the mountain for several days. Just a 5 minute walk to the lift. The only problem was the furniture was well past their useful life. Couch was ripped and stained so bad it had black residue (old skin?) on the arm rests and seat edges. We had to put sheets over all the furniture. I contacted the owner so they are aware. Before you rent, ask if they have replaced the living room furniture. If they have, everything else is good-to-go.

Manager not available for 3 days

Our stay began badly. The manager had said, many times in emails, that she would be available during our stay. There was some confusion about registration that we needed to clear up and we waited 3 hours to hear from her. The manager was not available by phone or text for our first 3 days.. There was dirty laundry in the closet, dirty oven, no cable available, no internet, The drawer front in the bathroom fell off and hit my foot...the cutting board was dirty, the mixer hadn't been washed...the chairs on the balcony had bird 'stuff' all over them. The blinds were broken in the front room and couldn't be closed, the garbage disposal was broken...We really would have liked to be able to talk to the manager. When she finally was available she was able to help a great deal, but it was halfway into our week stay. We weren't real happy

Came for a Wedding

The condo was just OK. The people upstairs were so noisy that it was hard to sleep. The window screen in the bedroom was broken so we could not open the window at night. The property manager was great and easy to work with. It's just that the listing said updated. Looks like a DIY project as the floor was so uneven that it scrapped the bottom of the bedroom door, the bathroom sink was set way too high for most people. But we were only there for 3 nights so most things were OK.

Enjoyable stay!

Clean and easy! The place was updated and very user-friendly. All processes were explained perfectly. If I have one negative, it would be the absence of air condition made it a little warmer sleep during a few hot days on the mountain. Usually cooled down in the wee hours of each morning though. Thanks for a great experience!
