Un espacioso apartamento de un dormitorio, con gimnasio, piscina, vistas al mar, Wi-Fi

Situado a sólo 4 km fuera del centro de la ciudad de Funchal, que está perfectamente situado para salir a comer, ir de compras y hacer turismo. Alternativamente, podrá relajarse en la piscina de borde infinito y admirar las impresionantes vistas sobre la playa del Océano Atlántico y Praia Formosa con su pasarela a Camara De Lobos.

Este moderno apartamento segundo piso está totalmente amueblado, amplio y luminoso, y dispone de acceso a un gimnasio totalmente equipado (reinstalado en octubre de 2015), jacuzzi y zona de la piscina al aire libre. Tiene su propia plaza de aparcamiento, ascensor y orientación oeste balcón de la sala de estar y dormitorio, máquina de café expreso, y acceso a Internet WiFi. Una cama individual opcional también está disponible para un niño.

Vila Formosa gana su nombre de la playa de abajo, Praia Formosa, que es la playa principal de Funchal. El apartamento tiene escalones (muchos!) bajar a la playa donde se encuentran tres grandes cafés y restaurantes al aire libre y un 2 kilometros pasarela (sobre pilotes en el mar) hasta el pueblo pesquero de Camara De Lobos (también con grandes cafés y restaurantes).

Very well located, gorgeous sight on the ocean and the swimming pool. Quiet but with all services nearby.The appartment is comfy and well equipped. Plus points : the owner answers all your questions very fast and kindly AND the garage place underneath is really easy

Great location

This property is in a great location. A great grocery store about 5 minute walk away and a great number of restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk. The promenade walkway is a short 5 minute walk to access but it is quite a few stairs and is a steep incline. Albeit most things are in Madeira. Overall a wonderful stay.

Comfortable apartment with seaview

We had a great week. Well equipped apartment. Good garage. Nice view. Beautiful pool. Public transport is doable but car would be preferable. Some nice restaurants at walking distance.

Great accommodation

Place was fabulous. Easy communication with natasha. Great area close to bars and restaurants and shops. Only small alterations with the keys. Only one set. You do need 2 sets of keys. Especially when checking out and someone else was picking you up. The key drop box needs to be up the main gate. Otherwise what a lovely experience. Views were outstanding. Thankyou natasha fab property.

We had everything we needed. Great parking for our car. Good place for restaurants, beach and excursions. Pool ok, gym lots of defects, whirpool not maintained. We spend most time at the beach. Every evening a wonderful sunset

Great Experience

The property is located in a quieter part of Lido but is close to two large supermarkets, many restaurants, and local spots. The sunset from the balcony is priceless. These aspects are probably similar to other reviews of this property, but for us, the most important thing was that we felt at home. Everything—from the warm welcome to the cleanliness of the house to the well-equipped kitchen—was just perfect.Thank you, Fiona and Natasha, for everything. See you next year! :)

Nice apartment in Madeira

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Formosa. It is in a great location, close to many restaurants and shopping. A short bus ride to Old Town Funchal. The apartment is is well equipped and spacious. The beach is nearby and has a nice promenade to wander along. Our host ,Natasha, also arranged transportation for us from the airport to the apartment. We would definitely return.

The most spectacular sunsets ever!

We loved the location, approx 3 km from Funchal and a wonderful walkway west to a quaint fishing village Camaro de Lobos with cafes along the way. The unit was well stocked and comfortable decks overlooking the beautiful Atlantic captured are attention every night with breathtaking sunsets. The pool was very refreshing after a day of exploring.the beautiful island.

Two Months in Madeira

An amazing location with a spectacular view. The sound of the surf from Formosa beach just below the condo put us to sleep every night. A couple for minor maintenance issues were handled promptly.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and was in a great location with lovely view

We were greeted when we arrived, shown the apartment and provided with all info and keys needed. The apartment has great sea views and a lovely pool and just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and a lovely walk into the City Centre. It is very close to shops, bars and restaurants and the Island is stunning. We would definately return and highly recommend Villa Formosa. There is a bus stop right outside and great coffee shop across the road. The people of Madeira are charming.

Beautiful apartment

We had a fantastic stay in Natasha's apartment in Villa Formosa. A very nice place. Everything was present in the apartment. It was also lovely outside by the pool. And the view is really beautiful. The only thing unfortunate was that the sofa in the living room was not a sofa bed. (for people who want to sleep separately) But again, a wonderful apartment.

Madeira Holiday

The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The store was a short walk away. The bus can be easily accessed. Only downer was the construction work taking place between the condo and ocean front. They work long hours. But the weather was beautiful the whole time we were there. The people are nice and there's lots to do.

Awesome location.

Very friendly owners, nice location. Everything is easily reachable via bus. It was a very pleasant stay, everything was clean and in pretty good shape. For the price definitely one of the best apartments. The view is awesome! Pool is nice at the end of the day. Sadly the whirlpool is shut down at approx. 8pm and over the course of the day gull of children. Therefore not really usable to chill at the end of a day. But other than that, I would always recommend this apartment!

A lovely New Year stay

The flat is very well equipped and appointed and it was great to be able to walk into Funchal and Camara de Lobos. Overall we had a lovely time and enjoyed the NYE fireworks. The only downside was that we couldn’t get the washing machine to work and some light bulbs needed replacing. We tried contacting the key holder by texts and phoning but got no response. This could have been a bigger problem if we’d got locked out.

Amazing Views

We had an amazing stay, everything that we required of a rental property was provided. One point to note is that there should be more emphasis in the property description about the entrance to the property, 32 steep steps and a two section very steep driveway. The description mentions lots of steps down to the beach but doesn’t mention the steepness of the access to the property. We managed the challenge but someone older or with limited fitness would have struggled. Owner was very helpful when we were missing a key.

Great view and location

Rented this condo for a month. Loved getting up every morning to a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean and the west side of the island. It is well situated in the west side of Funchal with good access to the bus to downtown. Can be walked as well. Area is mostly flat. Access to various spots on the island was easy in a rental car. The main East-West highways wasn’t far away. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with a large enough refrigerator, a stove top with oven and a dishwasher. The clothes washing machine likely needs servicing, sometimes is not quite right with the latching mechanism. Several dishes were chipped and should be replaced. Good services in the area with a good grocery store just up the street, cafe, restaurants, hair cutting, car rental. Really not lacking any amenities. All and all, we loved the place.

Healthy holiday in beautiful surrounding

The apartment complex is well maintained as well as the apartment. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room are spacious and well equipped. Above all, the large storage space in the bedroom exceeded our expectations. We were not only provided with "normal" towels, but also bath towels, so that we were sufficiently supplied. The kitchen is also perfectly equipped, so that our own cooking was also possible. There are 2 balconies, both of which were in the shade until early afternoon. Especially in warm temperatures very pleasant, as you could easily switch between sun at the pool and shade on the balcony. The swimming pool invites you to swim, as well as to dream with a wide view of the sea. The fitness room is equipped with a treadmill, cross trainer and ergometer. The many steps (108), which have already been taken into account in previous evaluations, invite you to warm up or to have a final sense of achievement. However, it should be noted that everywhere on Madeira it goes either up or down - that's what makes this island so appealing. We were impressed by the very detailed description that our landlords left us. From general information about the apartment, to bus schedules, tips for restaurants etc. This made it easy to settle in quickly and easily. All in all, we had a great and relaxing holiday, and I was also able to spend a carefree holiday despite my chronic pain disorder Thank you very much for everything! Carola & Oliver
