relaxing stay

Spacious condo, with everything you need in it. Minutes of walking to the beach, enjoyed walking along the beach, it is rocky for swimming though. Kids enjoyed swimming pool. We had a great and relaxing time.

Awesome view and impeccably kept grounds

It was a very relaxing stay. Ocean view from the balcony, nice beach to walk on, close to foodland and other restaurants. Bed was comfortable, sheets and covers could use some updating. Other than that bed was comfy and unit was very clean

Dissappointed

The unit was very dirty. Floors were not clean, the washer/dryer combo clanked and was about to break on the spin cycle. Furniture was old and worn (threadbare) and there was a dead cockroach smashed on the bedroom wall. The only good thing was the location and the view!

The carpet really could have used a shampoo, and the drapes had either blood stains or stains of some kind.

Simply amazing!

We would definitely stay here again. Love that our hosts had so many amenities at the property! The place was clean, had a balcony with a great view of the premises and ocean, and felt like a home away from home.

Older condo

The condo itself is older. The carpet has spots. But it was clean. The property that the condo is on is very nice. The pool was great and we loved sitting on the beach to watch the sunset every night. I would love to stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: Have vacationed at Maui Sunset before, however, the unit I used this time (213A) had issues: patio door drapes were very hard to open & close which was a big inconvenience; small bath sink stopper was broke & one of the light fixture bulbs was out, bedroom sink drain was clogged (I cleaned it to get water to drain); carpeting by breakfast bar counter is worn, dark & had stains; not all the speeds on both ceiling fans worked; kitchen, hallway & bedroom bath ceiling light fixtures are dim & need brighter, energy efficient bulbs; occasionally needed to jiggle both toilet tank handles after flushing to get tanks to fill. These things should not have been an issue, especially with the high-season rates I paid.

Nice Getaway

The condo has plenty of room, with all of the appliances and kitchen items you would want. The grounds and pool were very nice and access to the beach was a bonus. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of toilet paper?!?
