The check-in process was easy to use. The property met all our needs. In the kitchen, everything we needed was provided for! Being familiar with the Bethany area, we were able to navigate to all our destinations. The property was very comfortable and we appreciated the two separated sleeping areas. The porch is very comfortable.

Great family house.

Great house for a family coming to enjoy the beach and pool. Easy access to the beach, trolley and boardwalk. We have been coming to Bethany Beach for over 15 years and this was one of the better houses we stayed in. Highly recommend. Great communication with the host as well.

Every thing worked out very well. We all loved the place at first sight. Enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was fully stocked even for our big group. Only cons were the bathroom sink & tub slow draining. Hope will be fixed soon. Thank you

A great house!

We loved this house and would definitely stay here again. We especially enjoyed the living room with ample seating and the large front porch/deck area. The neighborhood was quiet, one of our friends worked remotely from the back area, and it was conducive with reliable Wi-Fi. Easy bike ride to beach and downtown Bethany too!

Last minute getaway

So happy to have found this gem in Bethany Beach! The location was ideal and the house is perfect! Wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to go back. Perfect for just two but big enough for more. Lots of sleeping room and living room. Thank you for such a perfect getaway!

Family Vacation

The house fit our families needs perfectly. Everything was very organized and clean. We love Bethany West and all the accommodations it has to offer. The outside deck was fantastic and the screened in porch. The owner has made this property just perfect for his guests.

Lovely beach getaway

We had a great week enjoying this lovely space! Great layout for a set of parents and kids in each “wing” of the house. Great porch! I really don’t think the pictures do the living space justice— it’s very nice and well stocked! We will be back!

2022 Summer Vacation

We keep coming back to this property year after year. The property is comfortable and relaxing with use of the community pool /tennis courts. A short drive to the beach or can hop on the trolley to go into town. Thank you Pat

Great location, spacious home

Great beach house with plenty of space for the 7 of us who spent the weekend here. Home is close to the beach and pools. Parking was a breeze thanks to the residential parking pass, which was so necessary bc we were traveling with a 2-y/o. One of our rooms was a little musty—but everything else was perfect. The owner is lovely, very thoughtful, and cares a lot about giving visitors the best possible experience. Would definitely return.

Spacious, Well-Appointed, Five-Star Home in Great Location

It appears the Beach House was recently renovated and, to us, seems almost new. Everything about the home is deluxe. It has a fully appointed kitchen, high-end, very comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches at every turn. It feels like home. The layout offers sleeping privacy as well as many gathering areas in the main space, and, of course, the fabulous screened porch spanning the front of the house. Located near the Trolley Route, it is very convenient to the beach, and in the original part of West Bethany, the house is shaded under mature trees making neighborhood walks a pleasure. Pat, the owner, is wonderful.

Quick weekend trip

The property and the neighborhood were in a great location. We were happy with most everything. Small misunderstanding about sheets and towels not being included in the rental. Inside of Pats home was vera nice. Carpet could use a cleaning as it’s starting to become a bit spotty. (Bedrooms only, the rest is flooring) Beds were comfortable. Pat was a very attentive host and we would absolutely stay there again.

Peaceful Getaway Spot with Easy Downtown Bethany Access

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is lovely and the common areas, especially the front deck, are perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the neighborhood - it is so wooded and peaceful that it almost felt like we were in the mountains. We enjoyed riding our bikes and walking into downtown Bethany, and took advantage of the parking passes, but also knew the shuttle was available if needed. We spent a few hours at one of the neighborhood pools too, which was very nice. One note about that: daily prices for the pool passes have gone up to $10, and weekly passes to $30 (I think). Still a great value! We enjoyed our vacation and the house immensely. :-)

We truly loved this property and its location. The home felt recently updated and was thoughtfully stocked with utensils and other helpful items, which spared us a few extra trips to the store. The front porch was a standout feature that initially drew me to the listing, and in person, it exceeded expectations. It became the heart of our trip, where our family gathered each evening to relax and enjoy food and drinks together.The only aspect that fell short was the quality of the queen mattresses. Given the evident care and attention put into the home’s design and renovation, we were surprised that the mattresses didn’t match anywhere near the same level of comfort and quality. A modest investment in pillow top mattresses—many of which are available at reasonable prices from matress outlet stores—would make a meaningful difference in guests' comfort and elevate the overall experience.

This is our third year enjoying a week in this beautiful home. Everything about it is updated and comfortable. The bedrooms on both sides are separated from the living area affording privacy and quiet, a definite plus. The house is situated in the forested part of Bethany West so it is a cool pleasure being outside on the porch or taking walks. Pat, our gracious host, responds instantly to any need. It is a 5 star rental.

Quick weekend trip

I had a great weekend trip with my elderly parents and teenage son. It was the last weekend of the summer and so nice to be able to share it comfortably with family. The house layout- 2 BRs and a bath on each side of a huge, open living area - was very convenient for our needs. We enjoyed the spacious front deck and the homey living area. Beds were all great and we all slept well. We didn’t get a chance to use v the back room - kind of an indoor porch area - but it looked comfy. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy drive to the beach and everything else.
