Casa del Pájaro (Bird House) es un hogar cálido y relajante lejos de casa. Se encuentra en el centro de Taos, en un barrio tranquilo, cerca del histórico distrito del centro, tiendas y restaurantes. Totalmente Hemos equipado nuestra casa para ofrecerle más todas las comodidades que pueda necesitar.
Podrá disfrutar de vistas a la montaña para siempre de los grandes, patio amurallado privado, que incluye varias zonas de asientos y una parrilla de barbacoa.
Entrar por la puerta principal para ver una encantadora chimenea kiva calentar las áreas de sala de estar y comedor. Este espacio cuenta con obras de arte nativo americano original, dando a nuestros huéspedes una experiencia única Taos.
El salón dispone de TV con acceso a Netflix y otras opciones del programa. Se proporciona un ordenador portátil para acceder a Internet, además de Wi-Fi.
La cocina está totalmente equipada para manejar cualquier tipo de comida, con utensilios y electrodomésticos de calidad cocinar incluyendo tostadora, licuadora, cafetera y horno de microondas.
Ambos dormitorios tienen camas queen size con mullidas almohadas, edredones y mantas / tiros.

Memorable experience in a first class property

The casa was extremely well appointed and met our needs fully. The hosts were very considerate; they were accessible but discrete and the property was supplied with everything we could possibly want. It is in a quiet neighbourhood in easy reach of shops and the town. The garden area was particularly lovely.

Ski Vacation

This property was very nice. The location was convenient to shopping , ski rentals, restaurants, and car wash. The property owners were very hospitable. The casita was warm and cozy . The carport is easily accessible from side door for unpacking and packing. We had a very enjoyable ski vacation at Taos Ski Valley a thirty minute drive from property location.

Cozy and convenient.

A very nice, two-bedroom casita with a beautifully-fenced front patio. Very convenient to downtown Taos, even though we were there during Covid and didn't do much other than hang out at the house.

Fabulous Getaway

We felt like we were in the country without the drive. The courtyard was great. As we sat outside, the only thing you saw was mountain tops! We would go back in a minute!! Thanks.

Best Rental

The best experience I ever had. Joanne and Michael were great hosts. The house was the cleanest and best organized I have ever rented. If your looking for a place in Taos-this is it. You don't need to look any further. It was just like home. The hosts thought of everything when they set up this rental. I plan on coming back.

Great property and location. Highly recommended.

This is a very comfortable and convenient rental. It's location is perfect as it is very close to grocery stores and at the same time not too close to the main town square (5 mins away) where all the traffic jams happen. We used it as a home base for a ski trip which worked out perfectly. It also has heated flooring which was a great plus. The owners were also very nice and attentive to anything we might need. Highly recommended.

Christmas at the Birdhouse

Joanne and Micheal have provided a fantastic place to stay! The Christmas decorations made it feel like home for the holidays and the live plants were beautiful. The house is clean, warm and filled with things that make it one of the nicest places we have stayed at! Lots of local info and books to read by the fireplace, and a great, quiet location for trips to the plaza or Taos Pueblo.

Felt like home

The owners were so gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. The casita was warm and comfortable and close by to shops, TSV, and only an hour to Santa Fe. Our daughter loved watching the birds and we really did feel like we were coming home and not just a rental. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The Bird House had everything our family could want/ need. We had a fire in the kiva every night!

If ever coming back to Taos and we need a place stay this will be it. Joanne and Michael met us both at the beginning of the stay and at the end to make sure we had all we needed. They were wonderful host. The house of a very well kept, clean, and perfectly furnished home. We enjoyed mornings on the patio watching the birds and little ground squirrel eat. Also the home is located so that you are a quick drive to all the main attractions. Loved our stay!

Sweet ski trip rental

Owner prepared everything you may need in this rental home- garlic presser, herb tea bag. Quite impressive. Room is quite spacious. Washer and dryer is very helpful on our ski trip with two young kids. We will sure come back visit again :)

Relaxing, all the comforts you need

A private courtyard with beautiful views for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The interior is decorated nicely and the corner fireplace was wonderful. This little casita had everything we could have wanted. Quiet location with the owners nearby if we needed anything. I would rent here again and recommend to friends and family visiting the area.

Nicely decorated and furnished with picturesque patio.

The owners were very friendly and available for any problems. The property and house were very well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well supplied with the needed dishes and cooking utensils including a side by side refrigerator with through the door icemaker. The property is on a paved road and not far from grocery stores, gas stations and the Taos Plaza. The flat screen high definition tv is rather small and you are limited to streaming Netflix and local channels. The local channels did not appear to be in high definition.

A beautiful place with great views. Just a few minutes from the square.

Had a great time in this well appointed home. It had all we needed to fix breakfast in the mornings and dinner in the evenings. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating.

Delightful and relaxing!

Staying in this house was relaxing and easy. Joanne and Michael make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable. I loved my time here and look forward to next August! Can't wait to see these beautiful mountains and sunsets.

Very pleased with rental

The two of us enjoyed staying here for 6 days. First, the owners met us there and walked us through everything to make sure we were comfortable. They were always available to help/answer questions/make suggestions. Even on vacation we like to cook in a lot of time. The kitchen was very functional. It has all the appropriate dishes, cook ware, etc. It would've been nice to have a few extra items like oil and more seasonings but those are nice-to-haves. The weather was great so we kept the windows open - including at night. - making for great sleeping. The beds were comfortable. The little Bluetooth speaker was a nice add. The tv is small but we weren't there to watch tv. Loved the patio both for enjoying coffee in the morning as well as eating outside in the evening. The price is fair for what you get - I recommend

Lounging in Taos

We enjoyed our stay at this location for 4 days. The place is very nice right in town but no noise to bother you during your stay. The couple were very nice and available if needed. We didn't use the fireplace as it was in the 90's the whole time we were there. I would certainly stay there again should I return to Taos.

A wonderful experience!

The Birdhouse was exactly the comfortable, quiet, clean home we were looking for during our short stay in Taos. Michael and Joanne were welcoming and communicative, and even brought us a newspaper and let us know about local events we may be interested in. Best part: the courtyard is fragrant and serene--the perfect place to end the evening. I will recommend this place to my friends!

Perfect Taos Home with Gorgeous Mountain views in every direction!

The very welcoming owners greeted us upon our arrival to their perfect home away from home in the gorgeous Taos area. The extremely clean home had everything we needed for our week long stay. The home is perfect for a family of 4 with 2 very comfy queen beds, cozy bedding and even gorgeous views from each room. I will forever miss the courtyard area where I spent every morning enjoying my coffee or breakfast and the magical sunsets sipping the perfect cocktail. We were in town for hockey tournament, with the home being less than a 2-minute drive to rink - this was a huge plus. Had we not had the hockey tournament bring us to Taos, I would still choose to stay at this lovely home for any return visit. It is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood away from the traffic of the plaza area. I was able to take walks in the neighborhood, with the beautiful mountains in every direction I looked. Had the fortune of seeing a hot air balloon on one of my morning walks, breathtaking... The home was very warm with radiant heating. We had some cold nights and never felt cold in the home. Very cozy and warm. We loved opening up the window blinds and being able to see the clear views of the surrounding area homes and mountains in the near distance from all rooms of the home. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation (I cook many meals while on vacation, so this was very much appreciated). The home was very close to many stores for groceries (Albertson's, Smith's, Walgreen’s, Wal-Mart). A bit of a further drive (10 minutes or so) will put you to a couple of the wonderful natural grocers on the north end of Taos (Cids and Taos Market, which we loved!) The plaza/shopping all within a 5-10 min drive. The home is perfectly situated for taking many day trips, which we thoroughly enjoyed while we were there: *Driving the Enchanted Circle (Taos to Questa, then Red River, over to Eagle's Nest Lake and down to Angel Fire and back to Taos). This was around a 6-hour trip with the stops we made. Headed out around noon and made it back to the home just in time for sunset. Very scenic drive going in and around the mountain ranges. *Ojo Caliente Mineral Spa - around an hour drive from the home. $20 for a day pass to spa and you will love it, so relaxing. *Hike down the side of the Rio Grande Gorge to Manby Hotsprings (also called Black Rock) - 30-minute drive from the home. So much to do and explore. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Joanne! :)

Cozy Spot with Great Views

Spotless and cozy! The views, the kiva, the well stocked kitchen, great linens, and great hosts all made for a great stay in Taos. We will definitely keep this place on our top list. Thanks for offering such a warm and inviting home away from home.

Michael and I have lived in Taos for over 30 years. Our daughter, Alex was born and raised here, and we have enjoyed becoming a part of the community. We love Taos and enjoy sharing our home and knowledge of the area with friends and family. We ski, hike, bike and have 2 dogs, Jack and Gracie and a cat, Kitty. We enjoy traveling and discovering new places and faces.
