Vicki is a fantastic host, and the location is amazing—just steps from the beach. The beds were super comfortable, and I slept well the entire stay. Some guests mentioned birds in the banyan tree; it didn’t bother me at all, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs just in case. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.

Beautiful space

My son and I had a great time at this property… The host was super responsive, the place was really clean and in a great location with restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would definitely go back again!

Loved the original Kailua beach bungalow

Dropped off our incoming college freshman at UH and then went to Kailua for a relaxing vacation. The location is key - steps from the beach and the bungalow was clean, quiet and comfortable. We would love to return!

Great stay in a residential neighborhood

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the bungalow. We rented bikes and were able to easily ride into downtown Kailua and take advantage of all the activities/restaurants there. The beach is a stones throw away and the outdoor shower under the banyon tree was truly a special experience.

Kailua getaway

The beach bungalow was perfect! Very comfortable and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful beach, swimming in the warm ocean and catching the sunrise each morning which were stunning! Thanks for all the wonderful recommendations Vicki.

We had a fabulous time. The property was beautiful, clean and just steps from the beach. Vicki, the property host, was so nice and helpful. Sunrises are amazing and this location is perfect to take in all the sights that Oahu has to offer.

A stay away from the crowds

This property offered a quiet escape from the busy and urban areas of Oahu. The beach was very close by and the Banyan tree near the property was beautiful and full of birds. The property had a private patio with beach equipment like chairs, umbrella, towels, etc. The space was small but well-equipped. It was a cozy and intimate place to stay that created lasting memories. The host was helpful and I would recommend this property.

Vicki and her units are absolutely fantastic! I've stayed all over Kailua and Lanikai and these units have to be some of the nicest out there! Vicki is a wonderful and gracious host. Don't overthink it, just go ahead and book one of her units. You won't be sorry!

Incredibly Thankful

V & J, were more than host for us. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant and personal as possible. This was a difficult trip home for us because it was for funeral services of a family member. V, went out of her way to talk with me, and check in on us. Can't tell you how much that meant to us. Yes, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places you will every visit, especially Kailua. But it's the kindness and Aloha spirit of the local people the will make you want to turn your vacation into a staycation. I grew up in Hawaii, V & J thankyou for making us feel like we had our Aunty and Uncle taking care of us. And V, you were right, my heart is home, we'll see you soon, thank you :)

Kailua at its best!

We had a fantastic time. The rental was quaint, clean and very well appointed. It was tastefully decorated with a beach theme. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, just like being at home. The beach is a mere 1:20 walk away and is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s 2.5 miles long of the softest sand you can sink your toes into. We so enjoyed our 5 mile sunrise walks daily! It was one of the highlights of our stay in Oahu. Vickie was the best host! She took care of every necessity including new Boogie boards and sand chairs for beach play. She thought of everything and when we discovered we needed a blow dryer, Vickie dropped it off within 5 minutes with a smile. There is something to said for having your host living next door. If you are looking to create memories that will last a lifetime, this is the place! Thank you Vickie. Mark & Laida
