Fantastic beach house

Thai was a perfect location on the best beach in Oahu. Loved the outdoor shower and being able to look into the huge banyan tree while taking a shower. Every morning and evening the birds would chirp, lovely sounds. Only a few steps to the most beautiful beach which wasn’t crowded at all. Seemed to be only people that live near it are vacationing in one of the homes. Chairs, umbrella, beach towels and two boogie boards, and a small cooler were available. This place does have AC or you can just open the windows and let the wind from the ocean blow through. We had a wonderful stay.

Great location

Short walk to a beautiful beach. Beach chains towels, cooler and umbrella included. Place is small but very comfortable. Covered parking included close to property.

Incredible property

My stay in the lofty bungalow was magical, and I canʻt say enough about Vicki and her gracious support as a host. The bungalow itself was an adorable getaway spot, very comfortable and located in a perfect location to experience the best of Kailua. Highly recommended.

Sensational

I can't imagine that anyone would stay anywhere but with Vicki. The place is adorable, clean, air-conditioned (yay!!!), and a short walk to the beach. Vicki couldn't have been a better host. And the banyan tree outside the bungalow is a site to behold. Remember to ask her about her other properties since you might prefer a different size unit. Do yourself a favor and stay in her place; you won't be disappointed!

Simply perfect!

The location of this property cannot be any better! The bungalow is small but has everything you need, it is simply perfect! My son and I had the best time boogie boarding on the waves which is a short walk down the path. The communication from the property owner was so detailed and I really loved how easy it was to find the it. We walked to town a lot, walked to get great coffee nearby and bike rental is very convenient! Our stay had everything we wanted and more, well done and thank you for making our vacation so special and memorable! Mahalo!!

Paradise Found

Having vacationed on other islands in years past, we decided to visit Oahu without the congestion of Honolulu and Waikiki, while still maintaining a beautiful beachfront locale. Our Kailua Beach Lofty Bungalow did not disappoint! Vicki and her husband were wonderful hosts, and provided my wife and I a beautifully designed bungalow, complete with a private patio, an outdoor shower (which we used exclusively), in an intimate setting canopied under a 300 year old Banyan Tree! The accommodations included everything you need for a relaxing beachside vacation, from a well stocked and highly functional kitchen, perfect for eating meals to all of the accessories needed for a day at the beach (chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards, etc.) The property's location is walking distance to town, and literally steps from beautiful Kailua beach. Take advantage of the easy day trips to all the wonderful spots Oahu has to offer, and look forward to your daily returns back to your cozy bungalow at the end of the day. Book your next trip here, you will not be disappointed!

Kailua Bungalow

This property was great to say the least! Location is wonderful, just steps away from the beautiful sands and turquoise water. The beach was also very intimate, not filled with tons of people. Vicki and her husband are wonderful hosts! Lots of great recommendations and whenever we needed something they were on it in an instant. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want more of a relaxing true island experience over the touristy filled areas. Definitely will stay here again when we come back!

Relaxing beautiful time in Kailua

Our quaint bungalow just a very short walk to this beautiful Hawaiian beach was absolutely perfect. Impeccably clean & tastefully decorated, we couldn’t have asked for more! The bungalow had all the conveniences we would have hoped for and more. We’ll be back and would recommend it to anyone.

Great trip

The property is a great location! It had all the comforts needed. Bed is extremely comfortable! Nice outdoor space to eat and relax. Very short walk to beach! Can’t hear nose inside house. Manager has great communication.

A total DREAM!

The stay and location was 100% a dream!!!! It was less than a minute walk to the beach which was mostly secluded! The place was just perfect enough for a couples getaway. The cleanest stay I have ever done, not a sight of cobwebs or dust in sight! The rental had everything you could think of up to beach chairs, shade umbrella, and even body surf boards! We did the last weekend of our stay in Waikiki but regretted it as this location was equivalent in price and was a better choice. Will be returning again and booking in the future!!! The rental is within walking distance to town which had a variety of local restaurants, coffee shops, and farmers market location which was perfect for trying local cuisines and delicacies! This stay made this trip a trip of a life time and extremely happy!!!

Perfect bungalow!

Just steps to a soft, sandy beach with beautiful blue water. The condo was clean and well appointed. The locks on both the lanai and condo made us feel completely safe. Would highly recommend!

Steps from Kailua beach!

This property location is simply the best. Literally just steps from the best beach on the island, Kailua! The bungalow is perfect for two, and has everything you need! On top of that, it is beautiful! Vicki is an incredible host, quickly responding to questions and local suggestions on where to eat. 10/10! Will definitely come back! Mahalo, Vicki!

Lofty Bungalow - Loved It!

As our host promised, the Lofty Bungalow is an amazing place to stay! A beautifully designed modern space with an open beam ceiling, the space lives larger than its footprint, especially with the private outdoor dining patio with outdoor hot shower, all under a majestic banyan tree. Thoughtful design makes the bungalow a very private place to stay, and since it’s just steps to the beach, you don’t need to cross any roads to get there. We used the provided beach chairs and towels everyday! The kitchen, while petite in size, was extremely well outfitted, providing everything we could possibly have needed to cook many meals together. The Kailua Farmers market had great fresh produce as did the health food store, Whole Foods and several other grocery stores, all within walking distance, that is if you don't mind carrying back a bag of groceries! Our delightful host, Vicki, answered all our questions (before and during our stay ) promptly and with great aloha. She also provided us with an extensive list of places to eat, activities to consider and information about Kailua town; we only wish we had several more weeks to try them out! We both hope to return soon again. Mahalo for hosting us!
