Mountain Joy Cottage # 10, Big Bear, está decorado con un tema de oso. Esta casa de campo romance está equipado con una bañera de hidromasaje.

Originalmente, la propiedad de Maggie Setzer, para quien Maggie Valley fue nombrada, la tierra en la que se encuentra Mountain Joy es un lugar especial. Mountain Joy Cottages está ubicado en el corazón de Maggie Valley, a solo una cuadra de Setzer Cove Road, con fácil acceso a todas las atracciones del área. Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

The cabin was cute, its an older cabin but still had charm. There are ELK that wander through the yard and eat apples off of the tree right there in front of you!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!

Bear cabin

Bed was horrible, sheets stained, floors dirty, air filter dirty, hot tub dirty, and didn’t feel safe with out a deadbolt on the doors.

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Great cabin getaway

It was our second time staying here & we very much enjoyed our time. Prior to our trip, we did message the property managers asking questions but never received any answers. The cabin was very clean except for some dirty dishes & cutlery (dried food, etc) that we had to clean ourselves before they could be used. Suggestions would be to upgrade the blinds so that all could be opened (missing parts) & microwave to higher power model. Refrigerator also could be upgraded for a more aesthetically pleasing vibe (it looked like ALOT of mold on the outside of the fridge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope to return in the future!

The trees from the porch was blocking most of the view. The bed was hard not enough hot water. There were also spider webs in the bathroom right around the window. I have to say it was in a good location close to everything.

Good just needs some better cleaning

There were cobwebs in places such as the curtain rods and just kind of dusty in general. There were a pair of dusty jeans that have been under the bed for a good while. Feet also turned black after walking on the floor. TV remotes also didn’t work so I’m assuming they had dead batteries.

The cabin was sweet, perfect size for a couple.……the furniture was impossible to get comfortable in, wifi service was poor, there are cracks in the walls to the outside and the fireplace didn’t have a good draw.
