Pliegue Linric - 2 Br Cottage

Totalmente independiente casa de 2 hab en una granja de estilo de vida de 125 acres.
Tenemos una pequeña manada de ganado de las Tierras Altas de Escocia, con la mayor parte de la tierra en arbustos nativos, con paseos por los arbustos.
A menos de 1 km de la ruta ciclista de Pou Herenga Tai, ya unos 30 minutos en automóvil de Kaikohe y Kerikeri.
Con una cocina totalmente equipada, baño con ducha sobre la bañera (ideal para niños), comedor / sala de estar, es cómodo, cálido y acogedor. Hay una estufa de leña para esas noches frías.
No tenemos recepción de teléfono celular o Wifi, por lo que puede disfrutar de un momento libre de tecnología y relajarse en nuestro hermoso entorno rural.

You are welcome to wander our property - be aware of electric fences! Leave gates open or shut, as you find them.
You are welcome to look at our cattle, who are generally friendly. But they don't know you so please don't go into the paddock unless we are with you.
Shoes off inside the house please. There is a place to put them inside the front door. No food or drink of any kind, except water, in the bedrooms.

Brilliant restful location

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Really handy for sightseeing across both coasts in the upper north island. Proximity to Kerikeri is an easy drive and the remote nature of the property was just what we needed. The property is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a self catered holiday. Great Rural Property

The property is in a lovely, peaceful location. The house has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, and is well looked after and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow and the communication with the owners was excellent.The only thing I would suggest is that it would be helpful for potential guests if it could be pointed out, in the description, that reaching the property by car requires driving for several kilometres on unsealed gravel roads.

We really enjoyed meeting & talking to Sergio & his family. It was a pleasure to host them. With regards access to our property; while a 4WD vehicle makes travel on ANY gravel road safer & easier, many (if not most) of our guests arrive in "standard" cars and have no issues whatsoever. There are potholes (find a road in Northland without them!) but as long as you drive carefully you will be just fine.

Peaceful and relaxing

Lindy and Rick are amazing hosts. Bach is fully contained and has everything if you want to stay for a couple of weeks. It feels like a home away from home peaceful and quiet exactly what we looking for. Northern Trip

Cottage was perfect. Well equipped warm and comfortable. Hosts were welcoming and kept us stocked up with wood for the fire. The Public road may be a bit of a challenge for some - winding and a shingle section with large potholes but lovely private snuggly cottage at the end of the day suited us perfectly.

Rick & Lindy are a couple in their 60s & 70s, who "retired" to Northland from jobs in Wellington. We lived in this cottage up until a few years ago, when we finally completed our new home further up the hill. We have cleared and fenced the land ourselves and now we enjoy the results of our hard work!

Initially moving to Northland to be a little closer to family, we chose this property as we loved the bush setting, with the small river at the bottom. We are both from farming backgrounds so this was not completely new to either of us, and we had been looking for a farm further south prior to moving here.

The property is set in a tranquil bush setting - away from the hustle of the towns. You can enjoy a peaceful, quiet time at the cottage, or head in to the surrounding towns for more excitement!
Sit on the deck at night and listen to the Morepork all around, or watch the amazing kaleidoscope of stars in the night sky!
