Esta es una linda y acogedora casa de campo con vista al lago del lago Michigan. Está a 2 minutos a pie de una hermosa playa pública aislada en Sand Bay. Esta casa tiene tres dormitorios y un baño. Dos habitaciones tienen camas tamaño queen y la otra habitación tiene una litera con un altillo que también tiene una cama doble, ideal para los niños. La cocina abierta tiene una hermosa vista del lago, mientras está completamente cargada con todos los utensilios de cocina que necesita para preparar todas sus comidas mientras está de vacaciones. The property is a short walk to a beautiful beach. The roof access was perfect for viewing the stars. The home was welcoming and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay! We are regulars for Beaver Island and were displaced from our cottage due to storm damage and this property was a great reflection of the island and everything it has to offer. I do want to mention that while it is pet friendly, pets aren’t allowed on the furniture(understandable as the couches and chairs in the living room are leather). Photos of our dog enjoying his stay for fun :)

Cottage was exactly as described, just what we expected. Easy access and communication with the host. It was an older place with lots of upgrades and character. Kitchen had everything including all kinds of spices. Appliances were newer. Private. Easy walk of a hundred yards to the beach and a few minutes drive to town. Linens, towels, toilet paper all in abundance. We had a cool, relaxed week.

Great view short walk to beach

We enjoyed our stay very much, awesome lake view from house, beach is a short walk away, and it was sandy, very shallow water with sand bars , excellent for small kids.

Our third trip to the island and third stay at the cabin, perfection! Our kids, the in-laws and pup LOVE this cabin, it’s become a second home for us. We have become so smitten with Beaver Island we are planning more frequent trips. The house has everything you need and more, and if you can find it, the local grocery store is well stocked! We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It had a beautiful view of the lake and was a great place to look at the stars. It was thoughtfully furnished with a well stocked kitchen.

Great beach access on Beaver Island

We had a lovely time soaking in Beaver Island from this comfortable retreat. The beach access is very easy and was nearly private even though we were there in August. Definite recommend!

Fantastic Get Away Outside of Town

The house has everything you need to have a wonderful stay on the island. The kitchen is fantastic to cook in and the space is laid out really well. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to rent from. This rental is a winner!

Perfect Quiet Spot

We had everything we needed and then some. The view of the lake was amazing. We would walk down the short way to enjoy our morning coffee with the waves and gulls. The kitchen was amazing to cook in. Beds were super comfy. We loved it and will be back.

Beautiful Haven

We are a little bias, as our parents owned the home for 30 yrs. Best beach on the island. Everything you need is at the cabin. Loved all the games for the kids. Beautiful paradise.

Just got back from a week here. House was wonderful. Had everything you needed and the location was perfect. Far enough from town but not too far. Beach entry just up from the house. Saw a ton of birds.very cute inside

Our Favorite Place on Earth

Nice Cottage on Island in Lake Michigan

I chose this cottage because of the view to the lake, rooms for family, and also the owner allowed my mature, well-trained pet cat to stay. I like the tongue and groove knotty pine walls, and charm of an old cottage. There’s abundant windows, and skylights for views of the woods and Lake. It has a crows nest on the third floor loft with a natural twisted wood railing. Set on a quiet lane with a few other cottages; it’s a natural retreat with every modern amenity, full kitchen stocked, plus spices and olive oil; inflated tubes and towels for the beach and water, which we enjoyed daily, and star gazing at night. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to see the peaches in bloom.

Yellow Cottage Stay

This cottage was perfect as an extra house for our family reunion on Beaver Island. The kitchen/dining/living room area was spacious and had a lovely view of Lake Michigan. The children's bedrooms were especially nice with their own separate staircase to a bedroom and a loft on two levels in the back of the house. The amenities were very good and the checkout process was easy. There is easy access to one of the few public beaches on Beaver Island. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place on Sand Bay!
