Family Vacation

This is the second time that our family has stayed at Eagle's Nest. We enjoyed our time together once again. We had plenty of room and the fire pit, game room and games, sand box and canoes/kayaks were a welcome addition once again. We love the area and this home accommodates our family nicely.

Gore ski vacation with friends

Well-appointed house, very clean, well-equipped kitchen, host was easy to contact and attentive, steep driveway but was cleared very well, enough parking, game room was nice surprise, downstairs beds were on the small size, grounds were snow covered but appeared to be nicely landscaped and cared for, overall excellent stay.

Beautiful Getaway in ADK!

A fantastic location for those looking to get away in the Adirondacks. Conveniently close to Chestertown, as well as many outdoor activities, Eagles Nest was an awesome location to stay at with friends and family.

Awesome Reunion in the Adirondacks

Wonderful home for large-ish group. Plenty of comfy beds and clean bathrooms- game room for kids. Campfire pit with plenty of chairs. Overall excellent venue for an extended family get together.

Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at Eagle's Nest. The house layout was perfect for everyone. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds to accommodate everyone. There were multiple spaces in the house to hang out as well as the large deck. The game room and all of the games provided were a lot of fun and enjoyed by all. The fire pit was perfect. The public beach was close by as well as the boating area which had plenty of canoes and kayaks for a large group. Cheri was a wonderful host, always ready to answer questions and help us in every way possible. I highly recommend Eagle's Nest!

Eagles Nest

Cheri is a wonderful host. She answered all of our questions and requests, which were many, right away. Stayed at the Eagles Nest three years in a row. Nice location. Not too far from Gore Mountain, grocery stores, restaurants and I-87.

Gore Ski Trip

We had an absolutely amazing time here. It was 20 mins from Gore, the game room was so fun, we had family and friends and we all fit well. We had a lot of fun and the house was clean, big, and beautiful!

Fantastic Adirondacks family Christmas!

The house was perfect for our family of 10 adults and 5 children. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of counter space, dining table for 10 plus breakfast bar stools. Even had lots of spices!! Quality pots and pans. 4 beautiful bathrooms , comfy beds, quality linens, a basement play area and a game room! Cheri our host was communicative and easy to work with! We had a fabulous and memorable stay!

Winter family retreat

This house is beautiful!! We had a group of 12 people and there was plenty of space and rooms to spread out. The downstairs area was perfect for the younger kids to play and the game room was great for the older kids. The kitchen had what we needed to make family meals. The host was wonderful and was there when we had questions.

Annual ladles getaway

This property is truly special. It's homey, comfortable, well thought out, and well appointed for guests. We enjoyed kayaking and paddling on the lake, spending time around the campfire at the house, and sharing meals together that we prepared. There were places spacious enough to accommodate our group of 6 together. And plenty of places for individuals to spend time alone. Our host, Cheri, is a gem -- she was welcoming and helpful. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Clean, comfortable , and close to water

Perfect place to celebrate the last days of summer. Close to Loon Lake with private boat launch near by. Lots of boats available on site and marina close by to rent motor boats. Home is fully equipped with everything you need- we had twelve in our group and everyone was very happy with the space. Bonus- full game room with pool, basketball arcade, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. Would recommend

Family vaca 2023

This house was perfect for our large family group. Plenty of space for everyone, young and old. We cooked all our meals in the fully equipped , spacious and clean kitchen . Other than activities out and about during the day, the house had everything we needed. Bedrooms throughout the house allowed our group to spread out . The living room , dining room and kitchen was open and flowed allowing easy conversation and plenty of seating. The game room was a huge hit . Gave everyone young and old something to do . Rainy night we all ended up out there . The game room, large living area and spaciousness of the house, the fire pit or deck gave us plenty of room to spread out . Very rarely , if at all were kids or adults on electronic devices which can be rare nowadays. House was as advertised and Cherie the host was extremely helpful and communicative. Easy check in and check out. The property was conveniently located for us . Was excellent home base as we ventured out for hikes , to visit Lake Placid or Lake George. Would definitely consider staying here again .

Perfect family reunion home

We rented this home for our family reunion and found it to be everything promised - plenty of comfortable rooms, great living rooms with lots of space, and privacy for the whole group. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen in any rental we have experienced - it really had all we could need, including plenty of dishware and cutlery for a large group. The grill was good sized and had an extra gas container. The game house was so welcome as it rained for the good part of our stay - many hours of ping pong and pool were enjoyed there. Cheri was immediately responsive to all questions and a wonderful resource. There was not a single negative about the house, and if we return to the area we hope to rent it again.

My little ones Birthday Weekend Away.

We have stayed at this house for three times at least! And each time I was so satisfied with everything! And it is not just the breathtaking views all around the property. But house itself too. It has everything you would need. Mrs Cheri is always available. Responds quickly. And of course once again we had a perfect week. I would definitely recommend. And we will be back again as soon as I’ll get approval for a vacation 😊!

Annual Family Ski Trip

We love this house. It's our second year staying there with family and friends. Plenty of room for all of us. It's a good location, close to Gore and close to 87. Cheri, our host, is very responsive to any questions we had and always a pleasure to talk to. We'll be back!

We have lived in the area since 2003 and love the Adirondack Park. For years we had vacationed here and in 2003 made the plunge and re-located to the Adirondacks permanently. We have called it home for the past 13 years! We live nearby and love hosting guests from all over the world.

This property is rural, yet centrally located to 5 lakes and easy highway access.
Clean and relaxing. All bedrooms feature seven layer bed linens. Includes equipped kitchens with cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, and small appliances. Four full bathrooms with tub/shower and linens. Washer & dryer in private laundry room. Infant high chair, crib and toddler bed. Outdoor chairs and fire pit. Unwind in a clutter free space. Private lakefront area nearby with parking, a dock, picnic table, and 2nd fire pit.

This place is huge! It's the ideal location for vacationing with extended family. It's an easy way to vacation "together" but have plenty of room. Ground level entrance option with plenty of paved parking. Access to adjacent 3-season game room to keep everyone busy.
