Perfect place to stay

This was the perfect place to stay. Close to many restaurants. The view was absolutely stunning. Everything was great. Super clean. Will definitely stay again.

Quick getaway

We loved the property being so close to the beach. The sunsets were beautiful and overall relaxed vibe of the area was wonderful. We would return.

Great Week at the Chateaux!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the Condo was fine, well stocked, great location, and a great shaded parking space under the building. However, the Condo could use some upgrading, e.g., paint, light fixtures, curtains, blinds, ceiling fans, kitchen, etc... And a little maintenance, e.g., curtain rods about to fall off the wall, blinds at the balcony missing slats, etc...

I called management and a lady told me they could do nothing about it. She said park in a visitor spot, wait until the WW is gone and she hung up the phone on me.

Reviewer Comments: Great, located right on the beach ( Gulf of Mexico) pool beside condo with the ability to sit in the sun or shade beside the pool, condo has a deck looking out at the beach, has an extra half bath off the bedroom, and there are several golf courses within a 10 min drive , condo is well equipped but with all the surrounding amenities close by you won’t spend to much time there except for sleeping.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The balcony and view were great. The furniture was ripped and super uncomfortable. The entry rug was stained. ALL the cabinets were already full with clutter. Way too many dishes, glasses, etc. There wasn’t any room for our groceries. I had to leave all the dry goods in boxes.The “half-bath” is a toilet and sink in the bedroom closet! I have to admit I’ve never seen anything like it. And that closet was full of clutter too.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented several different units at Chateaux and this unit was the most expensive but in the poorest condition. The furnishing were dated and uncomfortable with some damage: a large rip in a chair and broke blind slats. There were also tiny insects, maybe ants, on the kitchen counters and floors. On the upside, the shower was renovated and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. And, of course, the view from the balcony can't be beat.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have vacationed at the Chateau for many years. We’ve always had a very good experience with Lifestyles listing service who we’ve gone through to book our vacations; and have rented nearly all of the condos Lifestyle managed over the many years we’ve been going to Indian Shores. The condos have been acceptably clean and updated EXCEPT for this time. Condo #303 was very outdated, needing paint and a DEEP cleaning. The bedroom carpet and hallway rug was disgusting with obvious stains and dirt. The cleaning staff left obvious dirt that should have been taken care of before we arrived. It was upsetting to have to clean this condo upon arrival. For the price of this rental we feel it should be comparably clean and as nice as all of the others we’ve rented. If you’re renting Condo #303, make sure some changes have been made.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was hesitant about writing this review as we have always been very satisfied with the building and rental company. Everything was great with the exception of this particular unit. This unit needs a complete top to bottom cleaning as well as new flooring in the bedroom. The unit had an old musty smell. There was also some other minor things. It would be nice if the owner would take some time to go through the unit and address these issues or they may not have returning renters.

The entrance hallway rug and bedroom carpet were stained, but cleanly vacuumed. It is someone’s home, so it’s a “ home from home”, which makes it comfortable and enjoyable. The rental staff were friendly and helpful. Pool staff tip top . Only bad thing, the elevator kept breaking down or service company wasn’t adequate.We will defiantly go back !

Unfortunately, there is little room in the closet area to hang things Or store the renters personal belongings as it is loaded with so much owner stuff and a 1/2 bath. The kitchen is beyond equipped which is very nice. Don’t mean to be picky but it would be nice to have the proper size sheets for the beds rather than king size that are way to big. Overall the owners are lovely people and glad we rented from them.

The condo was very clean from corner to corner. The location and view were just what we were looking for. The sunsets were spectacular. Florida Lifestyle was within walking distance of our location. The staff was quick to respond to any of our needs and very helpful. Condo furnishings were somewhat dated but that did not take away from the location.Looking forward to our return trip next year.
