Please note: From July 2025 to December 31st 2025, the building will be undergoing a significant renovation project. Be advised that during this period, there will be active construction occurring on the exterior of the building, including balcony work, which will result in balcony closure during that time. The condo will remain open for rent during this time. However, we do want to make you aware that there will be some noise and disturbances due to the construction activities. We have applied a discount to this unit during the construction time due to the inconvenience this will cause.

Welcome to Barefootin' (#502). Fantastic oversized 1 bedroom Direct Gulf Front Condo located on the beautiful coastline of Indian Shores Florida. Beachy and relaxing condo with amazing views! This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is the perfect getaway. The private balcony overlooks the beach and Gulf of Mexico which offers the most spectacular sunsets nightly. The living room has a wide slider that provides water views and if you can pull yourself away from that there is a 52" TV with cable and DVD player for additional viewing enjoyment. The fully appointed kitchen has all the amenities of a home plus a few extras like a crockpot, rice cooker, both drip, and K-cup coffee makers. The bedroom features a King size bed along with a TV with cable . Need some alternate sleeping options, the sofa is a Queen sleeper. The property is equipped with an in unit stackable washer/dryer for your convenience! The beachside heated pool is surrounded by a paver deck that has both open & covered areas, as you choose your sun exposure. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand before getting into the pool or coming into the building. There are also 2 restrooms in the gated pool area. The large built-in gas grill is perfect for the catch of the day. This unit comes with one covered assigned parking space. This is a smoke-free condo and no pets are allowed.

This property offers initial supplies for a 2 day stay. Additional supplies will be the responsibility of the guest.

Amazing

We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute of it! We will definitely be staying here again! The host provided everything we needed for our stay and were very responsive with any questions we had. The elevator was working off and on, but the property owners were continuously working on it.

The Chateaux

This is one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. The view was perfect. The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen and laundry was supplied nicely. The area was quiet and safe. The only issue was that the elevator was out of order the entire stay (we were on the top/5th floor)

Beach front get away

Location was great, excellent view of the Gulf, disappointed that the elevator was still not working, 6 flights of stairs each trip to the beach and with gear, food etc., not much fun.

Elevator

We can't emphasize enough that with no working elevator we had to climb 70 steps at least 3 times per day. We drove down to talk to the Real Estate personnel about the problem. They told us it has been broken for more than a year and they can't do anything about this problem. Yikes!!! If we had known how long this was an issue and that it would not be solved by the time we came, we definitely would not have booked this unit. Please help by looking into this and getting back to us.

Nice Stay with one Exception

Everything in the condo was very nice. Nice location. Great gulf view from the large balcony. Management team was easy to work with. One huge problem though. The elevator(only elevator) has been out of service since January. Talking to residents it doesn’t sound like a fix is imminent either, so check before you book.The condo was on the 5th floor so 70ish steps to the condo. Our family was able to manage it ok but others may not be able to. Other than that would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and Clean Condo on the Beach

Condo is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. No issues with the unit. One time we had a question for property manager the exchange was handled easily and quickly via text. Access to beach is easy.

Dolphins and perfect sunsets

I brought my 10 year old daughter on vacation to the beach for the first time. She LOVED it. The view from the fifth floor was amazing. We collected heaps of seashells, saw dolphins in the ocean, and witnessed the "perfect" sunset according to my daughter.

Glad we are in good shape.

If you are unable to climb stairs and carry luggage/groceries, I wouldn't recommend this property. Elevator has been out since January, and, we were told, not suppose to be up and running until July. We were on the 5th floor. Other than that, great view, clean quarters. It could use some sprucing up, but we really liked the location and the beach was very nice.

GREAT PLACE

This place was absolutely wonderful! Very clean, spacious, and a fantastic view of the Gulf! We loved it! The only problem was that the elevator didn't work and we were on the 5th floor (72) steps!! We had to leave earlier than we planned due to our age and the difficulty of climbing up and down all those steps. Thank goodness we had help getting our things up and down the steps!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Barefootin' was great. We love the keyless entry; no need to keep track of a key. The view is awesome. We saw dolphins almost every day. We did get our exercise as the elevator was out and the condo is on the 5th floor. We were advised the elevator was out prior to our arrival. We get groceries delivered and use the trolley to get around. We travel up and down the blvd to different eateries. The sliding door does need some WD40. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen and bath welcome kits are an awesome idea. The furniture was comfortable. Seaside Properties was great to work with.

Climbing 6 flights of stairs became old real fast. The other issue was the door lock. It took at least 2-3 tries each time to enter the unit. On the plus side beach chairs and beach towels were provided. The unit was clean, the pool was great and just a short walk to the beach. Overall very nice.
