Ubicada en FALMOUTH, esta impecable casa de baños completa recientemente renovada de 3 habitaciones y 1 dormitorio con una nueva ducha exterior de cedro se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie de Main Street, a 15 minutos a pie de la playa de Surf Drive o Falmouth Heights y a 5 minutos en bicicleta de Shinning bañera. También está a sólo 10 minutos en coche de la famosa playa de plata vieja. Fue completamente renovado en el otoño de 2015, con todas las nuevas baldosas de cerámica y pisos de madera barnizado. We had a great stay at Joe’s place in Falmouth. The house was even nicer than the pictures and it was perfectly equipped for our family of 4. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice Cape Week location!

Exceptional immaculate interior at this home. Very comfortable and room for a big family. Beds were the most comfortable of 6 Cape rentals in as many years. Walking distance to Main Street shopping and restaurants. Short drive to beaches. Communication with the owner was perfect. We missed having a dryer and a 2nd bath (but there’s an outdoor shower). Recommended!

Hello - Overall The property worked out well for our needs. We did not spend much time in the house as we were participating in a competition and only spent 3 1/2 days in Falmouth. The home was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Communications with the owner was good and prompt. The one downside that is worth a mention is that we had to pay extra for bedding and towels. I have never encounter this before so I was a little shocked so I suggest that one reads the complete home description carefully - unlike me. I was short on time and needed a rental so I paid the extra fee. Because of this I can't give a five star. Other than that the home is lovely.

While you mentioned being a little surprised about the linens, your reservation was made well in advance and the listing clearly notes that linens are an optional add-on, which you requested and paid for. The extra fee for preparing the beds ensures proper sanitation, and we don’t leave linens out - beds are always freshly made up and ready for our guests arrival. June Stay 2020

The house was in a centralized location, was clean and the owner was quick to respond. However, the grill didn’t work well, the washer machine in the basement was not very good, there was no dryer and the dish washer didn't work.

The guest inadvertently pressed the lock button on the dishwasher which is a child protect feature and the reason why it wasn’t working properly. As far as the grill, we are sorry you felt it didn’t meet your standards but we have been in the house since you checked out and have used it several times and it’s operating with no problems at all. By the looks of the grill upon arrival, it appeared as though it was used quite a bit during your stay. We talked about the washer and dryer at great lengths with you. You asked on 3 separate occasions If we had one and we told you we did not. We offered you a 100% full refund after your 3rd inquiry about it. We also explained that though it is not an amenity we offer, we do have a small one in the basement if you would like to use it. It works perfectly fine. I am sure with 3 small children a washer and dryer are an important amenity so we are not sure why you just didn’t take the full refund and find another home to rent. You asked for beach chairs, kids beach toys and bikes, which we kindly left for you. We are sorry you based your vacation experience on a washer/dryer and a grill. We are hoping you will be able to ask the make, model and size of these items that are essential to your family for your next vacation so that it can be a success.

Fantastic location and lovely home

We like to bike, and this home was a quick ride to the bike path (either on Surf Dr or at the intersection of Jones St). It was a quick walk or ride on the bike into town for dinner, too. My 9yo son was in fishing camp most mornings, which left from Falmouth Harbor, also very close to the house. He loved the soccer goals and the big yard to play in as well. It was cool and poured one day during our week, and we had plenty of room to play games and lie around reading. The kitchen could use a few staples (vegetable peeler, a good paring or chopping knife) but overall lots of pots and pans and dishes to work with. There isn't a microwave so be aware of that if your family relies on one heavily (ours doesn't so we were fine). The house is well-cared for and newly refinished. Nice cross ventilation with the windows open and the option of air conditioning in the bedrooms if it is too warm/humid. It's also not at all damp. I have terrible mold allergies, and cottages on the Cape often have damp basements, making for a less pleasant vacation for me. But this house was dry despite a day of downpours. Thank you, Joe, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this rental.

Ideal base for exploring the Cape

Joe and Pattie's home is a wonderful place from which to enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod and the islands. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy, the towels (well worth the extra) were soft, the sofas broad and enveloping, and the kitchen modern, with everything we needed (even, for British visitors, a kettle!) And the kids were very grateful for the smart TV and the fast wifi...The basement with washer and separate drier were a godsend. The biggest success was the brand new (and quiet!) air conditioning units in the bedrooms. The gardens are actually quite large - large enough to throw a new american football around, and the gas BBQ was easy to operate. A lovely touch is the outdoor shower, which we used to get rid of the sand and salt from beach trips, but which was private enough to be your main option if you wanted a bit of Maldives-style al fresco experience each day. From the very first contact, our hosts were sending helpful advice and information - things to see, stuff to do, places to eat, where to park, how much to expect to pay, what to do when it rains (and despite the scorchingly hot weather, it still did occasionally). The board games provided even managed to get the kids off their phones when we were stuck inside one day. If we had questions (which happened a few times) or an issue (just once or twice) then Joe was exceptionally quick to respond. Overall, a fantastic break, in a home with a lovely feel. If we come back to the Cape, we'd definitely stay here.

Pattie and Joe are excellent hosts, all communication in good time, check in and check out straightforward and lots of very helpful tips and recommendations for the local area. Lovely spacious home, quiet neighbourhood, very convenient for Falmouth Main Street and beaches/ferries. Outdoor seating area really made it for us as the weather was beautiful. The outdoor shower was also a hit! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay.

Great Location!

We had a wonderful week on the Cape at Joe’s home. We loved the recent renovations done in the kitchen and living areas. The space was comfortable and the neighborhood nice and quiet. The home is on a street with two entryways. If you go out one way, you end up right on Main Street. If you exit the other way, you end up in the commercial area with groceries, etc to choose from. We loved the outdoor shower and the spacious back deck. The only thing we missed having at the house was a washer and dryer. We highly recommend this home.

Fantastic location for Falmouth area!

Wonderful house in a great location! Our kids were thrilled with the bunk beds and we loved the outdoor shower. House layout was perfect and was stocked with everything we needed. We'll definitely return if we're back in the Falmouth area again.

Beautiful , comfortable home, great location !

Very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated home for 4 adults , a 3 1/2 year old and a 3 month old. The house was walking distance to the playground, carousel and downtown Falmouth. Many great restaurants and shops . The beaches were a 5 minute drive away which we enjoyed in the late afternoon. We had a few very hot days but the bedroom ACs & a large fan in living room were able to cool the whole house . We were very comfortable. Pattie and Joe, the owners were very responsive to any inquiries that we had during our stay. My whole family was delighted with our stay.

Nice stay with great location!

The house was clean and updated with ample space for the 5 adults with our group. The deck and yard were perfect for the family gathering we hosted. The house was the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, and only a short walk to the restaurants and shops. Hosts made the stay even better with easy communication and lots of suggestions for local restaurants and beaches.

Lovely Cape Home Close to Everything

This home is lovely - nicely appointed and spotless. The kitchen is well equipped and the yard and deck and fire pit are delightful ( bring your s’mores supplies). It is a short walking distance to Main Street and a bit longer walk to the beach, with many other beaches within a short driving distance. The owners were easy to contact and everything was as they stated it would be.

Wonderful stay close to Falmouth Center

Very easy and straight forward booking process. Home is meticulously kept. Easy walk to downtown Falmouth and close to Shining Sea bike path. The only downside is limited beach parking due to Covid restrictions. Definitely have to get to the beach early for a spot!

Wonderful Week in Falmouth that went by too quickly.....

Nestled on a side road away from the traffic less than two miles from the beach - pleasant sidewalk stroll - is this three bedroom Cape Style ranch house with a wonderful deck for outdoor dining. There is ample parking for four cars and a lovely yard all around. Very private and peaceful. The updated and clean home is replete with beach toys and every kitchen amenity one would want. The lovely shops, restaurant and beach are close, and some of us chose our feet over taking the car to have a closer examination of the homes and friendly people en route. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and comfortable. The outdoor shower was a special treat and kept the sand outside where it belongs. The Stop and Shop and other mall stores are also less than a mile. We would gladly return to this lovely home, whose welcoming nature was only superseded by the gracious, generous and professional owners who were attentive to all our vacation needs! Five adults were very happy to eat, drink and do puzzles until midnight. Bravo!

Great Location

This home is in a great location. Set back on a quiet street and walking distance into town. It was very clean and comfortable. There are window units in each bedroom which are quiet and work well and the beds were comfortable. A couple things to note, bed linens and bath towels are not provided. Also, if watching tv is something you like to do in the evening, the number of stations are very limited. No ESPN etc. Overall we really liked the home and location and would definitely go back.

Would stay again

We had a great week at our rental. We loved the house. It is has charming beach decor and room for everyone. There is everything you need to cook a meal and grill. While there is only one bathroom, the outdoor shower is great when everyone is trying to get ready for the day at the same time. I don't think my daughter or I used the indoor shower once. Everything was clean on arrival and our directions for check in were exact. The location is great if you like to walk to everything or if you want to drive. I have never come home this relaxed from a vacation before. Everything about the house was perfect. I would highly recommend renting from Joe and Patti.
