We had a fabulous week staying in the Villa Iliana. The villa was very clean and equipped with everything we needed as a family of six adults. Stamatis was a wonderful host, meeting us at the port to help us get to the villa, recommending restaurants etc. We will definitely return when we are next on Skiathos.

A True Hidden Gem. Magnificent views in a secluded spot but close enough to all the Amenities you could need. Property was clean and had all the equipment to make our stay perfect. Any problems we had ( and they were minor) were immediately acted upon by Stamatis the owner. Wished our stay had been longer.

Lovely house, for a peaceful stay

Stamatis is an excellent host, the house is beautiful, comfortable and the area is very peaceful. Nicest beaches are ~30 minutes drive away, a car is a necessity to enjoy the island. I can definitely recommend the property.

Amazing Villa in Skiathos

We gave just come to the end an amazing holiday with friends, the first time in Skiathos for all of us. This villa is the perfect place to stay, it is beautiful, very well designed and plenty of space inside and out. The views are incredible, quitebreathtaking. Speciam perfect host

Amazing villa!

Well what a gorgeous villa! The owner is lovely, so friendly and kind. Met us at the airport, very accommodating, gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and taxi’s. Villa was so spacious, clean and tidy and had more than enough . The views were the best! Every room has a view! Up high looking from the infinity pool across the ocean. Met his daughter who was also lovely. And visited their lovely bar Main Street. Such a wonderful stay! Thank you so much x

A Slice Of Heaven

Absolutely magnificent villa with breathtaking views to the glistening sea . It’s surrounded in lush greenery with butterflies and birds. Fascinating to watch the planes land and take off. Stamatis is a caring fantastic host. Meeting us and helping at the hire car office. The villa was very clean , comfy beds with absolutely everything we needed. The view from the terrace is jaw dropping . We can’t recommend this villa more highly . Absolutely 1st class .

Absolutely Amazing

Beautiful villa, spotlessly clean and everything you would need supplied! Pool was amazing and again excellently maintained. Stamatis the owner was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble . Villa would not suit anyone with mobility issues as driveway very steep and we did have one taxi driver refuse to go down it. We didn’t hire a car and on several occasions just walked into town approx 30mins But got taxis back ! Lying round the pool was so peaceful and although close to airport you honestly barely heard the planes. Cannot wait to go back

Fantastic Villa, in an amazing location.

Staying in this villa was the perfect experience from start to finish . The villa offers privacy on the side of the mountain with an trip down to Skiathos old port, I would recommend hiring a car, as there are some pretty steep terrain. Stamatis is a superb host and his hospitality is excellent, he was very attentive and came to meet us at the airport. The villa itself has everything you could possibly need during your stay and the photos of the pool don’t do it justice, it’s amazing. Definitely recommend picking this villa for your next vacation!

Skiathos in May

We had a lovely time in Skiathos. We visited in early May and the weather was a bit colder than usual, so we didn’t spend as much time in the pool as we might have liked. The place is lovely, very open and spacious, and flows down into the pool area. There is lots of space to sit back and relax and let the world go by. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was very easy to use. Stamatis was a very attentive host and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again

Fabulous Week in Skiathos

Beautiful villa with amazing views to Skopelos and beyond. Quiet location yet within walking distance of great tavernas and close to Skiathos Town. Outside areas, including the pool, were excellent. Villa really well equipped with everything we needed, including modern appliances and air-conditioning. Stamatis was the perfect host, meeting us at the airport and providing local tips and information. We frequented his bar in town which is lovely. He is very friendly and was always willing to offer any assistance as required. Skiathos is a beautiful island and we would have no hesitation in returning to this wonderful villa.

Exceptional

The description and photos of this fabulous villa do not do it justice. Everything about this rental is wonderful, from the lovely Stamatis meeting us at the airport, supporting us with collecting our hire car and guiding us to the property, to the facilities and location of the villa. The villa and pool area are fabulous and the wrap round veranda provides shade from the sun to those of us who need it, the internal decor and rooms are lovely and there was a midweek towel and linen change which was great. We spent many relaxing days on the veranda watching the planes take off and land at Skiathos airport which is an added bonus to the location, the views are stunning over to Skopelos. There are two local bakeries within a few minutes drive and the local supermarket is very close too. Skiathos town is 5 minutes drive away and the many beaches are within 20 minutes drive as this is a small island. Stamatis you are a wonderful host, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Wonderful. Great location , Fantastic Villa and host

Stamatis is a very kind and helpful host and goes above and beyond to help. We were met at the airport, where I picked up a car, we followed Stamatis back to the property. He took some of our luggage for us. The villa is lovely and has everything you need. It has the great views of the sea and the end of the runway. The airport is not a problem as very few planes arrive and depart, and it’s great to see them taking off and landing. There are 3 good size bedrooms, one with a bathroom and one additional bathroom. Outside space is fantastic – the terrace has a BBQ on it and coals and firelighters were provided. The pool is lovely. Skiathos is a small island, but we felt a car was good to have, though it looked like there were plenty of buses and taxis. There are two or three good tavernas very nearby within walking distance. We followed many of the walking trails around the island, which are mapped and waymarked pretty well.

Amazing 5 Star Villa!

The villa Iliana is in a quiet residential area and amazing in every way. The owner Stamatis was so helpful, friendly and gave us all information’s needed. From the villa and the pool you have an absolutely brilliant view of the landscape and also the Xanemos beach. Everyone interested seeing the airplanes landing and taking off will have an additional bonus. The planes are quiet, if not silent and fascinating to watch. Skiathos town is about 5 to 10 minutes away by car and there are also three good taverns nearby. There are said to be over 60 beaches on the island and of course we visited some of them. If you are looking for peace and quiet on the beach, you should go to the north side of the Island; here are the best beaches in our opinion. If you happen to be in Skiathos town in the evening, don't miss seeing the film Mama Mia, which was partly filmed on the island. This will be performed several times a week in an open air cinema and you will have a new experience of how much fun you can have in a cinema. Afterwards it is a must to end the evening in the Main Street Bar, it’s a relaxing place, excellent staff and if the owner is there too, I’m sure he will greet you personally. The villa is a lot better than shown in the photos and we can’t recommend this property and the owner Stamatis highly enough. In total absolutely 5 stars for the villa, Stamatis, his entire team and the Greek hospitality. Thanks’ Stamatis with special greetings from the „lobster”.

Wir hatten Glück im Unglück. Leider fiel unser Aufenthalt in die Woche der starken Unwetter. Wir waren sehr froh, dass Stamatis, unser Vermieter, sich so gut um uns gekümmert hat und wir so gut und sicher untergebracht waren. Wir komm wieder, wenn es keine sinflutartigen Regenfälle gibt und wir den wunderschönen Pool besser nutzen können!

Don’t hesitate to book

Sincere thanks to the owner Stamatis who is a very kind and attentive host and goes above and beyond to help. Stamatis helped us organise a rental car in advance. He met us at the airport, helped us collect the rental car and we then followed him to the villa which was really helpful as we arrived late after dark and Skiathos has some steep, hilly roads. There was water, beer and soft drinks on arrival. Stamatis was flexible with check out times, gave helpful recommendations re places to eat and responded very quickly to any messages we sent while there. Can’t recommend the villa highly enough. Stayed as a family of 3 with our 15 month old son. The villa is modern, tastefully finished with beautiful artwork. It has the most incredible, panoramic views of the sea which can be enjoyed from nearly every window in the property and from both the upper terrace and the infinity pool/ surrounding greenery on the lower level. The living / dining area and terrace with bbq is on the upper level and you go downstairs to 3 bedrooms which lead out the pool and greenery area. The runway is close but the planes are quiet, if not silent when landing and are fascinating to watch. You can hear the occasional plane when taking off but these are very infrequent so not an issue at all. The villa is in a quiet residential area. It’s so private and not overlooked at all but equally doesn’t feel isolated as you can still see a few other neighbouring villas, which are a good distance away, from the terrace. Skiathos is very small but I think a car is pretty essential. We personally didn’t feel we could walk into town as the roads are steep in places without pavements and definitely not pram friendly. Town is a short 10 minute drive and there’s a large free car park which is handy. There’s a lovely harbour, shops, waterside restaurants and an amazing bar overlooking the sea called Bourtzo. There’s not many places we would want to stay again as we usually try somewhere new but we would definitely love to stay here again.

Amazing villa

The property was amazing in every way. The owner Stamatis was so helpful and friendly and picked us up from the airport and dropped us back. The pool is the best I have ever been in. Amazing views with an added bonus of seeing the airplanes land and take off. I did not hire a car, so used taxis to take us to the town and bring us back. 10 euros each way and very efficient and easy. Cant thank Stamatis enough for making our stay so wonderful.

Great Holiday

Just stayed here in May and firstly I want to thank the owner Stamatis, who has been great through Covid in rearranging this holiday. He picked us up from the airport and there was water, fruit, soft drinks and beer waiting for us. A great personal touch. The villa is as advertised and a perfect location. Nice and quiet, but you can also watch a few planes come in. The whole villa has everything you need and the pool is fabulous. It’s a 30 minute walk in to town which we did most days and got a taxi back, usually with some things from the supermarket. You can also go right at the main road jus up from the villa as there is a great restaurant/Taverna 10 mins away (Taverna Mega Gialos). You must try it. A great place to stay and you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing villa in a wonderful location.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Iliana and thank you Stamatis for looking after us so well. The villa is absolutely immaculate and the views from the property are stunning. We enjoyed walking to local restaurants and beaches from the villa and loved our first visit to Skiathos despite some storms in early September.

A wonderful relaxing holiday

We had an amazing 11 nights staying at Villa Illiana. The villa had everything we needed, was very clean, comfortable & was very tastefully decorated. We walked into town a few times, it took about 20 minutes & was all downhill. The views were spectacular, looking over the sea to Skopelos & was lovely to get up early to watch the sunrise. We would recommend hiring a car to see the rest of the island as it is all beautiful. Stamatis, the owner, also has a bar in town (called Main Street) & we would recommend visiting this also, great music. We would love to come back again. Les, Geoff, Ange, Mike, Lol & Phil

Fantastic villa situated in a brilliant location with wonderful views.

We had a wonderful trip to Skiathos, met by our very welcoming, helpful and kind host Stamatis at the airport. It is very easy to get around the Island with lots to do and see and the villa is like a haven after the hustle and bustle of busy beaches, tavernas, supermarkets etc. Situated on a hillside with beautiful views of Skopelos, with a lovely infinity pool , plenty of shaded areas and good quality sunbeds by the pool. The villa was well stocked with a generous fresh fruit bowl, beer, water etc and the delightful cleaner came twice during our stay and left the property immaculate. It is very spacious with good facilities for cooking or BBQing. All in all a lovely place to stay. We would highly recommend this property. We were a family of 5 adults and it was perfect for us. Would love to come again sometime! Thanks Stamatis.

Blissful - serene location yet the fun of Skiathos town minutes away

A wonderful week. Everything the previous reviews say is true. The photos on the website do the place justice. The villa and the pool are stunning, a true home from home. Efficient aircon and a cooling breeze across the pool and deck make for a comfortable stay even in the height of summer. Well equipped kitchen with a large fridge and dishwasher. Stamatis provides all the basic cleaning and washing up products you need. Cleaner was excellent, with good English and a lovely smile. We were collected at the airport and dropped off at the ferry for our second week in Skopelos. You will need a hire car with a decent engine for the steep slopes. Plenty of great restaurants and bars. Spar supermarket has all you will need. Monastery well worth a visit. Stamatis a great source of recommendations of where to go and beaches to visit.

We had a fab stay. stamatis was very helpful. There if you needed him. Villa and location was great! We could walk into town (only if you’re reasonably fit) and we got quads. We will be back!
