Calefacción por suelo radiante para meses más fríos. Situado en el centro, a 10 minutos a pie de la ciudad de Carvoeiro, con su encantadora ciudad, playa y muchos restaurantes. Ideal para familias o grupos de amigos con sus amplias terrazas amuebladas y cubiertas y sus jardines maduros. Las vistas al mar, Carvoeiro y el campo circundante son algunas de las mejores de la zona y son realmente impresionantes. Hay muchas terrazas grandes amuebladas para disfrutar de las vistas y la paz de Carvoeiro. Perfect family villa

The villa is in a quiet area with a 15 min walk into Carvoeiro centre.The villa gives everyone space and pool is just amzing and heated.We loved staying here.

Perfect family villa

This house was perfect for a larger group. It had all the necessities inside, but the highlight was the outdoor space with a great pool area, patio with both lounging and dinning spaces and ping pong table for the kids. The hosts were very nice to work with as well.

Lovely Villa in Great Location

Lovely Villa in a great location, perfectly suited for our family holiday. We made great use of the lovely pool area and outdoor spaces, a couple of minor issues were sorted on the same day, owner very responsive before our holiday and remained so throughout. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink locally too.

Great family holiday

Had a lovely 2 week stay with family of 11 which included 5 children between 2 and 12. They all loved the pool. Location, views, pool and outside areas all excellent. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous! Beautiful & Spacious House and Pool

I spent a week in Casa da Tara with my family and another family in early November and it was one of the most relaxing holidays I ever had. The three children loved the pool and spent hours in there every day. Even with two families we had loads of space. As well as the pool area there are quite a few verandas and patios where you can hang out around the whole house - whether you want to sit in the sun or stay in the shade. Everything we wanted was in easy access, shops, restaurants and the beach!

Amazing Week at the Villa!

We just returned home for our amazing week at Villa Tara and couldn't be happier with our stay! We were a large group of 11 people (6 adults and 5 children) and the space was perfect for us. We all had space for sleeping and lots of outdoor spaces to relax. The pool was also a great benefit and we all enjoyed our time there to cool off. Marie was a wonderful support by providing us with lots of great restaurant recommendations which were nice and close to walk to/from or taxi back for 5 euro. We also loved an uber ride to Club Nau for a fun night out. A few beaches were also a close walk (A bit of a hill on the way back but still very manageable for our group) and others were an easy car ride away. Marie was also quick to answer any questions that we had and connected midway during our stay to see if she could help in any other ways. The pool and villa cleaners both popped in midweek and that we great to have clean towels, a pool check, etc. Our whole experience was wonderful at Villa Tara!

Family get together

Had a fabulous week at the villa in Carvoiera. Very clean and excellent pool for the family, very secure for the little ones. There was plenty of space for us all being a family of 12, lovely grounds with some green space for the kids to run around .The view is spectacular! Marie the owner was so helpful and quick to respond to any queries, all in all a great experience would definitely consider going back.

Happy Times!

We really loved our time at the Villa. So many amazing outdoor seating areas, the weather was so good we never ate inside. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. My only suggestion would be to update the bedding. The bedding all felt a bit tired. Other than that great!!! Our host was amazing!! Thank you for everything!

Great Villa

This is a traditional lovely villa situated in a nice area in Carvoeiro, in a large private plot with great outdoor areas & pool. You are a 10 mins walk downhill into town and a taxi back at night is 5 euros. We were a group of 10 adults and plenty of space for us all. You can walk to small & large supermarkets and get a taxi back if you don't have a car. Overall a great time was had by all and we would return again. Communication was great and check-in & check-out very easy.

Experiência agradável. Localização em zona sossegada. Praias fantásticas. Piscina com tamanho generoso. Cozinha muito bem equipada. Zona de churrasco espetacular e o exterior com muita área envolvente. Pontos fracos: camas e almofadas desconfortáveis, A cortina de uma das casas de banho necessitava de melhor higienização. A Máquina da loiça deveria lavar melhor (após lavagens a loiça fica com detritos).

Great holiday!

The property was perfect for the 13 of us. Plenty of space and lots of outside seating. We could walk to two different beaches within 20 mins. The owner was very helpful as we had, had to change the booking due to covid. I would highly recommend this place!

Great family holiday

Our party of ten, including 4 children aged from 7 to 10 years old, had a very enjoyable holiday in this lovely spacious villa. The girls loved the heated swimming pool and the grandparents made the most of the various sheltered outdoor seating areas. As it was October it was a bit chilly in the evenings which meant we couldn’t make the most of the very attractive outside area for alfresco evening meals, although we did manage to have one early evening barbecue. The underfloor heating in the living areas was very welcome as was the smart TV! The management company who looked after the Villa were very attentive and approachable. The pool man was also very efficient and dealt quickly with a malfunctioning pool pump caused by a heavy rain shower. Despite having some inclement weather we all agreed we’d had a great stay at Casa de Tara.

Breath taking views

This was my 70th birthday with kids and grandkids. Kids ages 7-10-14-16. The pool was our main room! Kids swam before and after any other activities and it was all their favorite. Different beaches every day... Local restaurants all wonderful. Villa itself handled 9 people easily, cooking facilities excellent. And the views!!!!! This place is a jewel!

Wonderful holiday

We had a brilliant stay in the first week of June. Family of 5, although the villa could have easily taken a much bigger group. We were attracted to the villa because of the location and heated pool, which was a big plus due to travelling with a two and five year old, neither of whom like to swim in cooler water. The pool is a very good size, well maintained, very clean and was lovely and warm (at a guess about 29/30oc). Both boys were happy to spend hours in there and had to be encouraged out. The villa was very clean. We found the villa to be spacious with well positioned seating areas to both sides outside. The villa is well located between both Centianes beach and Carvoeiro. We had a great boat trip from Centianes, the organisers were great with the kids and it kept them happily entertained for an hour exploring the sea caves. The nearby water park was also a hit. We loved the walk along Algar Seco. Boneca Bar and Mar d’Fora and the beach bar at Centianes we’re food hits and good for seafood lovers. Boneca Bar has a lovely cave tunnel by the sea, which the kids loved exploring with their torches. The supermarkets were a short drive away. We found the walk to Algar Seco area to be about 15 mins and then a bit further on to either beach, so for beach trips due to young children with us preferred to drive but parking was easy. The grounds around the villa and location made for a peaceful week and mean you don’t feel overlooked. Marie kindly arranged for buggies at the villa and this was a big help for tired little legs. The communication both before and during holiday has been faultless, which made the organisational side very easy. We would love to return one day. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wonderful, memorable trip

We just came home from the most wonderful stay at Casa de Tara. We were a group of 4 couples, friends that have travelled together every 2 years, and we must say that this was our best trip. To start, Marie was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She responded quickly, offering information and sharing things to do in Carvoeiro. She is a great expert in knowing what is going on in her town, and it's always interesting to get recommendations from a local! The villa itself was beautiful. The pictures really don't do justice to how lovely and spacious it really is. And the views! Especially from the upstairs balcony. We spent several nights sipping port and watching the sunset. From that balcony you can see the town, the sea and the Monchique mountains. The bedrooms were great for a large group - 2 queen size ensuite rooms, 1 ensuite room with a double and a single, 1 queen size room with a bathroom right beside it, and then another room with 3 single beds. All were comfortable and gave each of us our privacy. The outside eating area was really convenient right off the kitchen, and we barbequed many nights. We had fantastic weather so were able to lounge around the pool and sunbathe every day. Also wonderful was having a frig and washroom out by the pool. We hardly ever wanted to leave. The town however is really lovely, and it's about a 10/20 minute walk depending on the route you take. One is a gentler slope but takes a little longer - the other is much steeper in areas but is quicker. There are several small supermarkets to pick up your daily supplies of water, beer, wine, veggies, snacks etc and a great butcher who was open every day until one, where we would go to buy our BBQ items. Also within easy walk were some fabulous restaurants for the few evenings that we went out. We found we didn't need a car at all and we were there for 10 days. All in all, this was a fabulous villa, location, town, trip - everything! We would all go back here is a second!

home from home

We were a party of 6 adults and two four year old girls, the villa just met all our needs perfectly. Nothing was to much trouble for the owner or the manager of the property who did everything he possibly could to assist us when i stupidly left behind a small hand bag, luckly my passport wasnt in it. We were visiting early april so paided the extra to have the pool heated, it was well worth it. None of us really wanted to drive so we used the local taxi company who had a 9 seater to get about. while we were staying a lovely new outdoor dinning table was delivered, and a corner sofa and table was placed on the covered veranda. We would certainly go back and stay here again, the relaxed family holiday has left us all with memories to cherish. One of the children in our group was disabled and one of the adults has heart failure and needed a lot of rest, the villa accomadated our needs perfectly and we had a wonderful time. We did a online shop before we went, and all our water and essentials were delivered to the villa within a hour of our arrival. Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely villa

Wonderful villa with beautiful views, fab pool and lots of amazing outside eating areas

10 friends came here to celebrate my 50th birthday and had an absolutely brilliant time. The villa was perfect in every way, it was very clean and well presented, the pool was lovely with lots of sun loungers and even inflatables. We loved all the outside areas to sit in and chat. The views from the balcony were so beautiful, it was very quiet and peaceful. Marie, the owner, was very helpful and responded to our questions very promptly. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this villa and would love to return!

Immaculate Villa in lovely upmarket area yet only 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre.

This is by far the nicest villa I have stayed in to date. Marie was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for our visit, even helping me source an online delivery service for our groceries, which I’d recommend. The heated pool and outside toilet/shower beside the pool was really handy. Plenty of sun loungers and parasols for shade if needed. We had a lovely bbq the first day. There are more than enough plates, glasses and cutlery for feeding 10 of us. It’s less than 5 euros to get back home from the beach or town centre. I had the master bedroom which had an amazing wrap round balcony with stunning views of the sea in the distance, The villa has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely be returning but this time with my family, they need to experience this place too!! 10/10 from me! 👍x

Brilliant

Super villa exactly as portrayed in the photographs. Large kitchen and lounge spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Loads of outdoor space and great pool. Plenty of utensils and crockery large fridge and freezer. Great supermarket 5 minutes drive away so recommend a car. Overall a great place to stay.

Great Villa

There were 12 of us including 3 childern celebrating 3 birthdays. A lovely Villa, plenty of room inside and out and a great pool. Good location in a lovely resort. Really helpful owner. A great holiday

Just beautiful.

We had a great time in Carvoeiro at this beautiful property. The home owner Marie was wonderful and went the extra mile in recommending local interests and food spots for us to visit. The home manager Sian was also lovey and greeted us upon arrival - everything was clean and ready to use. We really loved the pool which - thankfully - had a gate to slow our little toddling people down as they raced around the spacious grounds of this property, enjoying all the space. There's a nice balcony to relax on too where you can watch the sunset - an unexpected surprise for us! "I like our holiday house, it's big" ~ Little person, aged 2.5 years Our family of 9 including 2 toddlers had an amazing time and recommend for families to come and stay at this amazing place.

This Villa is in a great location close to town but also very private. Has amazing views and great place to relax with well furnished luxury terraces. The swimming pool is always a favourite as it is in a great location with lots of space around and walk in steps and heated.

This villa is very spacious on large grounds and in a unique position so close to town but with amazing views of the sea and mountains. The Pool is one of the best can be heated with walk in steps so child & adult friendly and also gated for safety of small children.
The swimming pool benefits for being in the sun all day, but the villa has plenty shaded areas also.
