Esta villa moderna y bien equipada se encuentra en Foz do Arelho, un pequeño pueblo costero cerca de la espectacular ciudad medieval amurallada de Obidos y las bulliciosas tiendas y mercados de Caldas da Rainha. Se puede llegar en menos de una hora del aeropuerto de Lisboa. La villa está situada en una zona tranquila cerca del centro del pueblo ya sólo 10 minutos a pie de la playa. Hay 3 magníficos campos de golf dentro de 20 minutos y la ciudad ofrece un excelente acceso a deportes acuáticos, tanto en el Atlántico tempestuosa para el surf o boogieboarding o en la laguna de Obidos, que ofrece una alternativa tranquila y poco profunda, ideal para el baño, piragüismo, windsurf y kitesurf, incluso en el club cercano. La villa tiene una cocina totalmente equipada con todas las comodidades, televisión por cable, internet inalámbrico, reproductor de CD y DVD. Jardín privado de la villa y terraza grande del sol (con barbacoa), dan a una zona de la piscina compartida en la parte trasera de la propiedad.

Would highly recommend

The property in Foz was fantastic and exactly what I needed. Jennie (the property owner) was absolutely fantastic all through the process. The location was great being close to the local shop and Central bar/restaurant. The property itself was ideal and the views over the lagoon were amazing.

Superbly located, well equipped and clean

We had a very relaxing holiday, the Villa is superbly located for the beach, town and local restaurants and shops. We were 5 adults, but the villa and town suit all ages. Extremely well equipped and clean, we couldn't have asked for more. Some great places locally to visit, and easy to get to from Lisbon.

Lovely house in a great location.

Stayed here with my husband and two teenage children. The house is lovely. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Was a great base for exploring the area which is lovely. Obidos is beautiful and very close. Lots of lovely places to eat nearby and very reasonably priced. Easy to pop down to Lisbon which we did a couple of times. The lagoon is great for young and older children alike. Would definitely recommend here if you're looking to stay in this part of Portugal.

Very spacious house with nice pool

We spent two weeks in this very spacious and very clean house. It is great to have three bathrooms (especially with teenage kids). The pool was nice, we were the only ones that used it, and the terrace great for relaxing. Wifi worked fine. Walking distance into the little city center (the supermarkets are very well equipped), with pharmacy and restaurants. Walking distance also to the beach with quiet and stormy side. Also nice restaurants there. Great location to just stay and relax but also lots of nice locations for trips in the neighbourhood. Definitely go to Caldas da Rainha (great park), Obidos and Bacalhôa Buddha Eden. We had a great communication with Jennie, very quick responses, helpful and great tips for our stay. Also Teresa, the manager and next door neighbour was very nice and helped us, when we had questions. Thank you for everything, especially glad we were able to come during these times.

Spacious Villa in an unspoilt location on the Silver Coast

This is a well appointed spacious villa in a beautiful part of the Silver Coast. Situated in the centre of Foz and a 10/15 minute stroll to the lagoon and beach where there are a number of restaurants catering to most tastes. There is also a very good local restaurant called Cafe Central which is next to the mini market and 5 minutes walk from the villa. It is very popular with the locals and serves good food and a very drinkable house white wine for 6 euros a litre. In fact the local restaurants were so good we ate out so I cannot comment on the kitchen facilities but it all looked good and the there is a coffee maker if you want fresh coffee in the morning. There are three big bedrooms which are tastefully decorated. We used public transport and taxis but a car would be useful if you are a family. The surrounding towns are worth visiting. The only thing that you need to be careful about is using the swimming pool, there is no hand rail and the steps into the pool are fairly deep especially for young ones. The owner is aware and addressing the issue. There is a gate from the garden to the pool area which is great if you have young ones and the garden is a sun trap with a shaded are to the side. Theresa the next door neighbour who manages the property is very helpful, speaks brilliant English and knowledgable about the area. This is a fabulous villa and location, I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Fine spot for a family

The biggest positives were walkability within the town of Foz and access to neighboring attractions. The host (Jennie) was communicative and neighbor manager Teresa was very friendly. However, layout of the home didn’t quite work for us. The kitchen is isolated at the very back downstairs corner of the villa and it is quite small, and unfortunately made even smaller by the fact that the only indoor table is located along the wall in the room. It can be useable for a family of four if you pop it open more, but then there really isn’t a lot of room to maneuver around in the kitchen (though that table was the best place to actually prep food since counter space is also limited). Basically if you are trying to cook and eat most meals at home, which was our original plan, this kitchen / dining set up is not great. Secondly, we found the beds to be uncomfortable and we slept pretty poorly during our stay. Some of that was just the beds being hard, but a lot of it was the lack of airflow in the house at night. We did leave open the doors on the upstairs patios but even with them open (and cool and breezy days/nights) it was really stuffy. There aren't any fans or A/C in the house, and the beds all have full down comforters on them (though we ended up using the small decorative blankets and even just our beach towels instead - otherwise you would wake up drenched in sweat). Overall the stay was fine but just wanted to call out a few things that didn't quite work for our family.

Días geniales!

Fuimos 6 amigos (3 parejas) y disfrutamos mucho. La casa es espaciosa, cómoda y tenía todas las cosas que necesitamos. Los días que estuvimos estaba un poco nublado pero aún así pudimos disfrutar de la piscina porque la temperatura del agua era muy agradable. Las habitaciones de arriba tienen vistas a Foz do Arelho. La zona es silenciosa y tranquila, al mismo tiempo que tiene lugares cerca para visitar y hacer turismo. Nosotros visitamos Nazaré, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha, Peniche... Muy recomendable!

Humidité, place de stationnement, rouille et casse

Bien reçu par le manager qui s’occupe de l’appartement qui n’est pas la responsable. Suite à ça l’odeur des égouts et de l’humidité tous les jours qui remontait. L’humidité se voit sur les murs de l’appartement à plusieurs endroits et le linge : couette ,coussin du lit , serviette humide même mon linge était humide à force. Suite à ça beaucoup de chats errants nourris par la manageuse de l’appartement qui vit à côté. Les chats montaient quelques fois sur mon véhicule et beaucoup leurs besoin comme leur selle sur la pelouse de la piscine. Pour le prix, pas de place pour mettre le véhicule étant donné une place dans l’appartement au niveau du garage. Bouton du thermostat d’une chambre du haut casser, carrelage sur là terrasse du bas et piscine casser ou qui bouge.Téléviseur du bas qui ne fonctionnait pas à l’arrivée et celle du haut aussi. Suite à sa , réaction assez rapide du manager pour changer le téléviseur le deuxième jour en fin de soirée mais pas celle du haut qui n’a jamais fonctionné. Aussi sur l’annonce, je trouve dommage aucune explication par rapport au temps de la ville où se situe l’appartement qui était souvent du brouillard avec des températures d’une vingtaine de degrés car moi j’adore le soleil. Le lave vaisselle que j’ai jamais utilisé car niveau extérieur il était rouillé peur d’attraper quelques choses. Le plus alarmant je trouve que c’est l’humidité qu’on a au niveau de l’appartement que j’ai signalé à la manageuse.et la rouille sur le lave vaisselle.

petit paradis

une propriété au top pour des vacances au top. pour passer de bonnes vacances, il faut un bon lieu ou se poser. C'est le cas dans la douce propriété de Jennifer. une maison très agréable et bien agencée avec une chambre équipée de salle de bain pour chacun. une piscine très bien entretenue et exposée ou nous avons pu nous amuser tous les jours. des terrasses basses et hautes bien aménagées pour que chacun trouve son petit coin de repos a lui. le seul bémol que je peux trouver a ce séjour, c'est le manque de capsule qui nous a privé de notre petit café de bienvenue a l'arrivée. sinon, je n'ai que du positif de ce séjour. au plaisir d'y retourner un jour.

Férias em foz do arelho

Casa com cozinha totalmente equipada com o essencial faltando um micro-ondas. Toalhas de banho limitadas acho que devia ter mais para trocar. Camas muito confortáveis. Piscina bem tratada. Recomendo a famílias com crianças pois a casa tem muito espaço e dá para se ter privacidade na mesma. Passamos uma semana muito descontraída e agradável

Dias muitos bons em família

Villa espaçosa em zona tranquila mas perto de tudo. Com boas áreas, espaço exterior bom para crianças brincarem em segurança e os adultos poderem disfrutar da zona de churrasqueira e piscina. Recomendamos a todos que queiram passar uns dias muito agradáveis.

Great house in a lovely location, peaceful but with plenty of amenities and scope for day trips.

This house was perfect for us, well equipped, spacious and very quiet. The area is lovely, small town, slow pace but a great base for exploring while having plenty of local walks, beach and activities. Would love to return to this area and property.

We have loved out stay in this villa.

Owners were most helpful and supportive. Within a very short walking distance from the shops, restaurants and the bars (Trombone being our favorite) this property is super quiet and well located. The grounds and pool are immaculate, the inside is beautifully clean. The bedrooms are spacious and beds super comfortable. Bliss! This is a truly charming villa in a really friendly resort that we would definitely recommend over and over.

Outstanding

This was our 9th year in Foz do Arelho. We love the place - it has everything that you wish for in a 'live like a local' holiday. It was our first time in this particular villa and I have to say we were not disappointed. It is immaculately maintained in every respect. For families with smaller children, the added bonus of the small gated garden being next to the pool is perfect. The small development of 4 villas boasts sunshine all day in most areas and is surprisingly quiet given that the location is central to the village square. It feels like you are miles away, with fantastic views of the lagoon, but only a 2 minute walk to everything you need with regards entertainment, food supplies and restaurants. The beach is only a 10 minute stroll and lends itself to the most amazing child-friendly lagoon. We would recommend this particular villa to anyone wanting to stay in Foz do Arelho. It's location is perfect in every respect but that is only if you can book it up before we get there first LOL.

We are a couple in our 40s with one child and have been together for 25 years. We love travelling and try to get away as much as we can, either skiing or exploring different areas. Ray's not one to stay on the beach all day, so we normally have to have some kind of activity planned.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We decided to buy a property in this area having spent 3 years living abroad (Far East and Australia), it was a must to have somewhere hotter than the UK and near a beautiful beach. We watched Channel 4's 'A Place in the Sun' and the Silver Coast was featured. We then bought that magazine and found both this villa and our fantastic Management Company. We fell in love with the area on our first visit as well as the villa - made an offer in that one weekend. The stunning scenery, relaxed atmosphere and the smell of eucalyptus and the sea in the air reminded us so much of a wonderful 2.5 years in Australia. All of our family have now been to visit and go back regularly. It's definitely a home from home for every guest staying.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The village of Foz is unspoilt. We love staying in the area, and our villa is ideally situated within a minutes' walk from the village square. The view from our terrace looks down towards the village and over to the lagoon. The swimming pool is one of the largest in the area (as far as we can see from Google Earth), and is at the back of the property, away from the road. It's great that we can walk directly out on to the pool area - no need to go up and down stairs.
