Esta villa hermosa, espaciosa, elegantemente amueblada con piscina privada y jardín está idealmente ubicada para unas vacaciones relajantes. Al estar cerca del transporte público, está cerca de todas las atracciones principales y de la vida bulliciosa que la Costa del Sol tiene para ofrecer. La villa es adecuada para grandes grupos familiares, salidas de golf y despedidas de soltero. Toda la propiedad consta de la villa principal en tres niveles con 6 dormitorios, dos salones / comedores y cocina, además de una casa contigua de 2 dormitorios con su propio salón / comedor y cocina. Hay varias terrazas que ofrecen sol y sombra. El salón de la planta baja se abre a una terraza con capacidad para varias personas, ideal para cenar al aire libre, mientras que el dormitorio principal se abre directamente a la terraza junto a la piscina. Hay un amplio estacionamiento para varios autos dentro de las puertas de entrada y la villa cuenta con un sistema de alarma de seguridad las 24 horas.

Electrodomésticos y menaje penoso.

Bien el lugar casa Grande y espaciosa pero con carencias ilógicas en este tipo de Villas. Menaje de cocina en malas condiciones, limpieza insuficiente, lavavajillas estropeado, microondas que da chispas televisores sin señal, puerta metálica automática de acceso a vehiculos averiada. Por lo demás preciosas vistas desde lacasa y estancia muy agradable.

Muy buena experiencia en el Chateau D'Illusion.

La villa responde a lo publicitado y la atención por parte de los propietarios ha sido excelente. La villa es excepcional y cuenta con amplias habitaciones, todas con baño y varios salones ideal para un amplio numero de personas. Una bonita y agradable casa en la que hemos pasado unos buenos días. A mejorar los electrodomésticos y colchones. Muchas gracias y hasta la próxima !!!!!

We had 3 generations of family and close friends celebrating a 60th birthday. This was a perfect villa for a party. There's enough room for everyone to get space to relax. The pool was great, games room and bar, the balconies all give fantastic views. It's well equipped , great BBQ and the weather turned up on the day. Thank you Pauline, Linda and Andrea for making our celebrations so memorable. We'll definitely be back .

Large spacious property that was an excellent size for our group of 13. All bedrooms had aircon, which was needed as the area can be very hot. The pool was huge and the house had all the facilities that we needed for out stay. The view from the main balcony was amazing.Access to the train station was only a short 5 min walk through a shortcut. There was a few bars and restaurants only a 15 min wakl away whcih was great. I would recommend having a car, and going to the lareg Mercadona near by which was excellent.Andrea and Linda were both amazing, always at hand to sort any issues very quickly.The Pool table is showing its age, but that didnt stop us enjoying it all the same.

Great family stay

Really loved this property and location. So much space as there were 16 of us it didnt feel like we were on top of each other at all. The house is great however it could do with a little revamp of certain things, including bannisters needing tightening. Would also be good if the pool lights came on a bit earlier than 12.30am so a night time swim.could be enjoyed earlier. All in all though we had a terrific stay and will definitely be back

Family Gathering

The Villa is excellent for big family get togethers with lots of space and different areas. It had everything we needed for adults and kids! A really lovely villa which helped to deliver a fantastic holiday experience.

Well served property in a good location. Excellent swimming pool which helped on very hot days.The air conditioning needs upgrading. It works but is an antiquated system which in some rooms required euros to work.

Great space for family but needs TLC

Stunning views, lovely pool, and big communal spaces with plenty of room for everyone. There were 16 of us in the house and didn't feel on top of one another at all. Kids were well entertained with the toys in the basement lounge too. Drive is spacious enough for 4 cars. The beach was walkable but we drove everywhere or ubered. Benalmadena and nice beaches were only 10 mins away. Whilst the decor is dated the one thing it could really do with is a revamp of the bathrooms. In several there was no high holder for the shower heads, and the plug didn't properly block the bath so it didn't fill up. It must also be mentioned that the A/C is on a meter and this is not mentioned in the listing. Whilst the owner kindly topped up our allowance it was quite annoying having to think about monitoring it.Overall some lovely memories made whilst staying here.

We stayed over Christmas at the villa and it exceeded our expectations. Lots of room for our large family. We had an issue which the hosts tried to rectify, it was not their fault and they were brilliant. We would go back and we highly recommend this villa. Thank you for having us.

Great property for 13 of us to celebrate my 60th. Fantastic connections with the train just a 5 minute walk linking you to Malaga, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Property also just down the road from the beautiful Benalmedina old town, Columbes castle and butterfly centre

Birthday week

We were a group of 17 family and friends celebrating a big birthday. The villa was much more extensive than we imagined and with five family groups it was perfect across all ages. There is everything here you need day to day, loads of pool toys which was a bonus. The annex is accessed via the kitchen and laundry room with a comfy lounge beautiful balcony, small kitchen and two bedrooms and bathroom downstairs, completely away from the rest of the house. The basement garden lounge is huge with a pool/ping pong table, bar, bedroom wc and undercover terrace garden. The kitchen is small for the size of property the formal lounge which the young children spent time in leads out on to the terrace which has table and sets for 20 and leads around to the pool which was cold but everyone enjoyed it. The hallway is large with a sweeping staircase leading to a balconied landing with three ensuite bedrooms and two balconies. Off of the hallway are another two very generous ensuite bedrooms. The villa is 10 mins downhill walk downhill to an English supermarket Arkwright off of the main Road. There is a restaurant spanning the corner Lucena 11 which does the best food we had there. A bit further walk takes you to a nice beach with plenty of sunbeds. The old town is a hard uphill walk. We used Bolt taxi service which was very convenient and home food delivery proved much cheaper than getting a taxi to good size supermarket. The views, sunsets and sunrises were spectacular from the villa.

Went last sep and have booked togo again next sep as its a god base for surrounding areas, 10 mins to benalmedena, fengarola, benalmedena old town. 8-9€ in a taxi. villa is dated but ya spend most of ya time sat outside on the veranda or in the pool.

August birthday celebration

A lovely house! We had a great time. We were 12 people celebrating a 60th birthday, from 3-month baby to 70 years old. There was plenty of room for everyone, also to be able to withdraw and have private time. We were there during the hottest time and then unfortunately the air conditioning was not enough. The kitchen became unbearably hot, so cooking was almost impossible. Also, the stove was older and didn't work very well. The kitchen is not suitable for cooking for 12 people. We enjoyed the pool, it and the terrace with the well-sized dining table, were our gathering points. It can easily accommodate four cars in front of the house, which was great. The overall evaluation of the house is positive. We enjoyed ourselves, the host is great and the person who welcomed us is really nice and makes you feel welcome.

Spacious place with lovely pool

Plenty of room for us (8 adults and 4 children under 6), and the pool was bigger than it looked in the pics, and very clean. Views were fantastic. General fixtures and fittings were quite tired and on their last legs, and we were surprised there wasnt at least one communal area with air conditioning. However, if you have a car, location is great for getting to beach and local supermarkets. Ubers were easy enough to get for those of us without a car, or if we could stand the heat (and the big hill on the way back) it was a 20 minute walk to the nicer beach. Communication with the host was great and overall we were happy with everything as it was really good value between us.

I was born in Spain and lived there with my parents until 1994. Thereafter, I moved to Ireland with my mother but I returned to Spain each summer to spend holidays in the villa with my father until he passed away in 2002. I am married and living in Ireland but one day I would like to return to live in Spain, in my family home Chateau d'Illusion.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My mother and father wanted to build their home in this area because it had beautiful views of the sea and mountains and because they loved Benalmadena Pueblo, the local village. The villa was designed and built by my parents and is furnished to their taste. I love the area as it is close to many of the main attractions on the Costa, but it's also a place to relax away from the summer crowds.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

My father built the villa for the family and so he paid a lot of attention to detail in its construction. The property is one of a kind with many lovely features and all rooms are extremely spacious.
There are several areas where one can relax and enjoy the sea and mountain views and terraces on three sides of the villa to be able to follow the sun throughout the whole day
The villa is also close to public transport.
