Villa Helios está situada en una zona tranquila a poca distancia de todo. Lindos, la quintaesencia del pueblo griego de postal está a menos de 5 minutos en coche, las deslumbrantes casas blancas que suben las laderas hasta una colina cubierta de fortaleza al final de una extensa bahía hacen de Lindos un destino fascinante, totalmente peatonal con solo burros como transporte. a lo largo de sus callejuelas de piedra. La villa es de alto nivel con muebles de buen gusto en habitaciones amplias y luminosas. La villa se encuentra en una excelente ubicación para que cualquiera pueda usarla como base para recorrer y disfrutar de la isla, visitar los numerosos pueblos y playas de arena cercanas o aventurarse más allá de los numerosos castillos en ruinas, Rodas cuenta con una historia fascinante con más de 300 días de glorioso sol por año!

Wonderful break

We have been to Rhodes on several occasions - it is our favourite holiday destination - and although we hadn't stayed at Villa Helios before I would have no hesitation in going there again. The villa itself is superbly presented and maintained, and it is in an excellent location to access all the attractions Rhodes has to offer. We all can't wait to go back!

Fantastic holiday on a beautiful island

This villa is in an ideal location for seeing the island of Rhodes attractions the villa its self was extremely clean and well maintained the manager and cleaner are very helpful and fantastic at there job they both go above and beyond we have stayed here several times and it has always been a pleasure and a peaceful relaxing break. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here there are lots of beaches and good quality restaurants close bye your also a short drive from lindos and pefkos the villa is easy to find and is in a good location for local shops a car is essential and all I can say is it a beautiful island with friendly helpful people with stunning views and clean beaches we loved it thanks to Ivor and his team .

Fabulous Holiday Destination

Villa Helios is a perfect destination for a holiday. The villa was absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and had everything we needed for a fabulous holiday. Set in breathtaking scenery it has superb views. The pool is a great size and the patio area perfect for relaxation and bbq's. We had a fantastic holiday in July, having fun in the refreshing pool, sunbathing on the immaculate terrace and taking in the views on the balcony. The surrounding area was great to visit and the car was extremely useful. We loved being so close to Lindos with all it's cobbled streets, gift shops and rooftop restaurants. We can't recommend Villa Helios enough; it really is a fantastic place for a relaxing family holiday.

Lovely retreat

The property was clean and well maintained with a lovely garden and pool area. The local manager was very helpful and recommended a beautiful sandy beach, a short drive away (Agathi I think!). We ate in the beautiful town of Lindos most nights and although a little pricey, there are plenty of ok restaurants. There was a well-stocked supermarket about 5 mins drive from the villa (on the road to Lindos) with a great coffee shop next door. This was the only place we could find reliable Wifi on the island and the staff, coffee, cakes and chocolates were all great! The villa was up on the hills with beautiful views of Kalathos bay and was a great base for exploring the rest of the island. I would certainly recommend this property for young families and those wanting a quiet get away.

Fantastic peaceful paradise with amazing views

Villa Helios lived up to its name drenched in sun. The sea view is just amazing there are not many places I have been that have had such a view. Although tucked away on a hill it is central for all the great tourist spots and yet still very quiet and peaceful. The villa itself is very elegant and has a lot of thoughtful touches put in by the owner which makes the stay very comfortable. I can't wait to go back soon it's a real gem!

Great villa

Fabulous villa in lovely, peaceful location. Beautiful sea views and easy access to the whole of the island. Bakery in the village does the best cakes! In easy reach of many beaches but if you just want to get away from it all, and enjoy your own private villa & pool, there's really no need to travel too far.

Peace, quiet and a little bit of paradise

I need to make a confession, we have stayed at the Helios twice and have already booked again for 2015, in fact I like it so much I even have a picture of the pool as my computer wallpaper. Now my review.... Walk off the plane, pick up your luggage, cross the road from the terminal and find your car in the car park....a perfect way to start your holiday. Exit the car park and drive towards Kalathos, if you don't stop en route you can be there in less than an hour. If you want some provisions and it is getting late, stop off in Falaraki, there is a supermarket next to the Church on the main road that stays open late.(Morrisons...but not as you know it) When you reach Kalathos turn off the main road and drive the short distance up the road to the villa, the road is narrow but easy to navigate. On reaching the villa, take a moment to enjoy the view of the pool, then operate the electric gates and enter your own little bit of paradise. What you do now is up to you, relax or explore or maybe a bit of both. The villa offers the usual home comforts, so if you want to really relax, do nothing and just lie by the wonderful pool, you can. The villa kitchen is not large but self catering is still easy with a modern hob, oven and microwave, or try the outdoor barbecue, just beware of the local cats if you do. After a hard day sunbathing spend the evening sitting on one of the balconies with a glass or two of wine and watch the stars come out but if you do, you will never want the holiday to end. Food shopping. Back on the main road heading towards Lindos and Lardos you will find a supermarket which stocks most of the things you will need or go to Lardos and buy direct from the butcher, baker or fishmonger. Eating out. Kalathos is a bit limited. Lindos is expensive. Lardos is cheaper and more relaxed. Heraki is lovely and has several good tavernas. What to do? There are lots of places to visit, Lindos is a short drive away but horribly busy during the day and the Acropolis is closed on a Monday. Tsambika has an amazing beach or if your legs can take it, make the long climb to the Monastery, the views are amazing, so remember to take a camera. Prasonisi is right at the bottom of the island and well worth a visit to see the kite and wind surfing. Rhodes Old Town is a must, traffic is manic and parking can be difficult. Try visiting in the afternoon, the "New Town" closes after lunch and parking gets a lot easier.
