La propiedad está situada en una zona rural y es parte de la "Serra de Tramuntana" parque natural que ha conseguido el "ESTADO UNESCO PATRIMONIO MUNDIAL" .La villa se accede por un camino rural estrecho de la carretera a Lluc, aproximadamente a 4 kilómetros el viejo pueblo. La ubicación es muy tranquila, donde la única alteración es el suave sonido de las campanas de las ovejas en el fondo. El carril sirve sólo otra propiedad más allá de la granja. La perspectiva es a través de la tierra agrícola privada hacia los bosques y las montañas más allá. Construido hace más de ciento cincuenta años, como una casa de campo traditionl la propiedad fue objeto de reformas sustanciales hace quince años, lo que incluyó la instalación de una piscina, la construcción de dos nuevos baños, cocina y lavadero independiente y fuera de un cuarto de ducha. La entrada principal conduce a un salón pasillo y agradable comedor y la cocina nueva en la parte trasera de la propiedad.

Beautiful setting in Pollenca countryside

Really lovely, spacious house with a fantastic pool at the front of the house. We had an a wonderful week, it was a very comfortable stay. Air con in main living room was fantastic & the 4 double bedrooms are a great size. Three of the bedrooms are downstairs and one upstairs (with aircon). The stairs are a bit steep up to the 4th bedroom. There is plenty of room & seating to relax both inside and out of the house. A car is definitely needed, the road to the house is very narrow, and turns to a track for a short distance before the house, but it’s perfectly manageable in a small/medium sized car. Pollenca & Port de Pollenca are close by with Lluc and Alcudia are not too far, so there’s plenty to explore and see in the area. Joan & his father were really lovely to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the house and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Vacation

Wir haben mit 5 Erwachsenen und drei Kindern unseren Sommerurlaub hier verbracht und wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen umgeben von einer schönen Landschaft. Das Haus ist rustikal und altersgerecht eingerichtet. Die Außenanlage und der Pool sind sehr schön und man kann den ganzen Tag draußen verweilen. Wir danken Joan und Catalina für die Gastfreundschaft und würden jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub dort verbringen. LG Kim

Fabulous holiday

The old farmhouse is in a very remote, rural location, surrounded only by the tinkling of sheep bells, but only a couple of miles from the atmospheric old town of Pollenca and a 15 minute drive from the beautiful beach of Cala San Vicenc. The house isn’t especially modern, but it is dark and cool and had all we needed inside with an excellent swimming pool outside, overlooked by a dramatic sweep of a mountainside on which wild goats tottered. We were splendidly looked after with a regular cleaning service and a tasty supply of tomatoes from a nearby field. The only drawbacks are bitey insects and wasps, and perhaps the level changes and stairs might prove tricky for those with mobility issues. The house, in its private countryside, provided a great base for our relaxing holiday.

wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Wir haben 11 wunderbare Nächte hier verbracht. Das Objekt ist sehr gepflegt und die Innenräume sind deutlich schöner als auf den Bildern dargestellt. Es wurde regelmäßig gereinigt und die Betten wurden auch jedesmal frisch bezogen. Der Pool wird ebenfalls viel gereinigt. Der Besitzer des Objekts ist sehr bemüht und jederzeit erreichbar. Außerdem hat er nach der ersten Nacht für uns alle Moskitonetze besorgt und sie über den Betten installiert. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und glücklich mit der Wahl dieser Finca. Kommen sehr gerne wieder !! Herzlichen Dank !!!

Rustikales Landhaus mit wunderschönem Garten

Wir waren nur eine Nacht in dieser Finca, da unsere kleine Tochter schon vorab Probleme mit Insektenstichen hatte und hier leider dann völlig durch Moskitos zerstochen wurde. Vielleicht liegt es an der ländlichen Umgebung, dass es dort extrem viele Mücken und Ameisen im August gibt. Da es keine richtigen Glasscheiben an den Fenstern gibt, fanden wir es schwierig, die Insekten draußen zu halten. Das Haus liegt an einem schmalen, steinigen Weg, man hat nur einen unmittelbaren Nachbarn, ein weiteres Haus liegt noch am Ende des Weges, ansonsten schaut man vom Pool aus direkt in die herrliche Bergkette und kann sogar wilde Ziegen beim Klettern beobachten. Abends haben wir eine Wildsau gehört, das ist schon einmalig. Es ist sehr abgelegen und lediglich die Autos der Nachbarn fahren ab und zu am Gründstück vorbei. Hinter dem Haus liegt ein Waldstück. Der Garten ist wunderschön und liebevoll angelegt, der Eigentümer kommt regelmäßig zum Bewässern. Es gibt einen richtigen Rasenteil neben der Terrasse, mit schattenspendenden Bäumen. Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe und lädt zum Baden ein. Insgesamt ist das Haus mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Der Vermieter erzählte uns, dass es das ehemalige Bauernhaus der Großeltern sei und dieser persönliche Charme vergangener Zeiten wird durch antike Möbel unterstrichen. Der Vermieter ist außergewöhnlich bemüht und freundlich, hat uns sogar noch ein Moskitonetz für unsere Tochter besorgt. Da die Stiche aber auch am Tage immer mehr wurden und sie bereits eine Entzündung davon an der Hand hatte, wollten wir kein weiteres Risiko mehr eingehen und sind in ein Hotel gezogen.

Lovely stay, thanks

Spacious villa and lovely pool in super quiet rural location but easily accessible (by car) to local supermarket, beach and local towns. Covid shenanigans aside we had a lovely stay. You have total seclusion and the nearby mountain, it doesn't block the sun from the property at all. The owners are welcoming, friendly and super-efficient but leave you in total peace too - a perfect combination really. (Just note that you are in a hot country in the countryside so the mozzies are rife. I'd take some proper hardcore jungle deet repellent to make your stay more manageable in the evenings...)

Tranquility

Stayed here in August 2020, there were 4 adults and 3 kids aged between 3 and 5. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Joan’s pre check-in communications were great at giving me piece of mind that we’d booked the right place. When we got to the Villa we were really impressed with the views and the Villa itself. The Villa is stocked with everything you’d need for your stay, including pool towels and bathroom towels. The villa is also cleaned and the towels are changed each mid week which is a nice touch. Would recommend for all, but especially those that are seeking peace and quiet.

Rural rustic traditional Mallorcan property, lovely large pool, well equipped kitchen

We spent a very lovely 2 weeks here. The house is set in a rural location with amazing scenery surrounding you as you sit on the terrace having meals with family and friends & lie by the pool. A short drive into Pollenca and a 30/40min walk, which we enjoyed doing most days. The house is a rustic traditional Mallorcan property, with lots of antique style furniture, modern bathrooms (3) and 4 double bedrooms. The kitchen is basic and functional, well equipped with appliances and crockery. The property is well looked after, cleaned twice pw, fresh towels and even pool towels provided. Very friendly welcoming and helpful family and we were looked after, with delicious fresh tomatoes from the farm delivered to us on a couple of occasions. Overall, the house is a wonderful escape and a great place to spend our holiday. Thank you Joan and family.

Stunning villa in peaceful location

Joan and his family could not have been more welcoming. The villa is incredibly comfortable with everything supplied that any family could need. We had both teenagers and my elderly mother staying with us and everyone fell in love with the villa and surrounding area. The joys of eating on the terrace trying to spot wild mountain goats, or the housemartins swooping down to drink from the pool will live long in our memories. Thank you for the most wonderful holiday :)
