Estudio único ubicado en uno de los barrios más deseables de San Francisco. Recientemente remodelado, nuestro apartamento cuenta con muebles de buen gusto, una gran cocina completamente equipada con encimeras de granito, baño con ducha grande y mostradores de mármol, chimenea, entrada privada y terraza con vista al Golden Gate. Con Tank Hill Park al este, Sutro Forest al oeste, el apartamento está ubicado en una calle rodeada de áreas naturales mientras se encuentra en el corazón de la ciudad.
A poca distancia del transporte público, campus de Parnassus del Centro Médico de UC, Golden Gate Park, tiendas y restaurantes.

A hidden gem

This apartment is truly a hidden gem, stuck away behind a lush, beautifully landscaped garden that still allows a wonderful view of Golden Gate Park, the Presidio and the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance (when they’re not shrouded in fog). The walk up the steep hill could be a challenge if you have limitations, but the reward was so worth it for me. The interior is nicely done and comfortable. It’s a studio, but spacious. I cooked most of my meals, but there are good neighborhood restaurants and groceries just a few blocks down the hill. I didn’t have a car, but the neighborhood is served by multiple bus routes and the N line within a walk of 5-10 minutes. Ilya is a delightful host, very friendly and helpful if needed. They live in the house above, but the setup provides plenty of privacy. I’ve finally found my go-to rental in San Francisco and am already planning my return.

Nice neighborhood, nice view, nice studio

Spacious studio with beautiful view in a a very nice neighborhood. Close to public transportations(trolly and bus). Lot of restaurants are within walk distance. The owner is very friendly and polite. I stayed 1 month and I love the stay.

a truly lovely apartment-- fabulous location and absolutely lovely inside. owner was extremely helpful but had absolutely no problems with apartment during 7 week stay. highly recommended for 1 or 2 people staying in San Francisco.

Most beautiful apartment, most beautiful setting and beautiful hostess ( and host)!

My husband and I stayed a month with Ilya and all was better than expected. The apartment was beautifully furnished, v comfortable bed, and though a studio, did not feel like one. There is a good sized separate kitchen and beautiful modern bathroom. The apt is v light and bright; the deck with magnificent view adds to its charm and comfort!

Garden Getaway

We spent a month at this beautiful property while my husband recovered from a significantly difficult surgery. The bed was firm (which is what he was looking for) and comfortable, the living space is charming, and the view when the weather cooperated was spectacular. Ilya and Jack were so friendly and welcoming and took care of any questions we had. I needed to have some medical equipment delivered and they allowed me to ship to their address and brought that packages to our unit. Long or short-term, Golden Gate Vista is a wonderful getaway from the hustle of the city. We would definitely stay here again for our next trip to San Francisco.

Views of Marin Headlands

Beautiful views from deck. Up scale and clean neighborhood with restaurants and grocery. Old world decor. Ilya and Jack are very nice. For me the bed was not very comfortable, it is a firm mattress. Overall, it was very convenient place to stay during shelter in place and for work

Million Dollar View

The studio was beautifully designed and spacious. The full kitchen was well equipped and easy to navigate. The neighborhood was very safe and provided me with a stress free living space while my husband was at UCSF. I could easily walk to Cole Valley for restaurants and markets or up to Tank Hill for exercise. My host, ilya was helpful and close by to answer any questions. The studio was charming and up to date. The deck out front gave way to a wonderful view of San Francisco & the Golden Gate Bridge. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I need a home away from home!

Perfect rental in residential San Francisco

My husband and I spent a month in San Francisco visiting our son, who lives there. We were absolutely thrilled with this apartment. It is located in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in the city - very pretty, typically tree-lined San Francisco streets surround it, and it is at the foot of Tank Hill, from which you can have a lovely view of the city after a five-minute walk. Public transportation isn’t far and there are lots of shops and nice restaurants within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is very tastefully decorated, comfortable and efficient. The terrace just outside the entrance has a stunning view of the city, the Golden Gate Park and the GG Bridge. We did quite a bit of cooking and the kitchen has everything one might need, as well as the same, nice view. The bathroom is also big and quite luxurious. If by any chance there is something you don’t have at hand, Ilya, the owner of the apartment, will quickly supply you with what’s missing - in my case a vase! We hope to come back regularly to San Francisco and cross our fingers that this apartment will be free. Thanks Ilya and Jack for contributing to our memorable stay in your fascinating city!

If you're going to San Francisco

This place is awesome. I stayed for 6 weeks and had a wonderful time. The apartment has everything you need. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, the bathroom has a huge shower, air conditioning, Wifi, TV... But what makes this place unique are the hosts Ilya and Jack, the gorgeous view and the lovely neighborhood. Ilya and Jack made me feel welcome from the first day I arrived. We’ve been in contact over the whole time. When you eat your breakfast and you can see the Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific, it is amazing. There is a Muni station within walking distance which take you directly to downtown. If you walk a little bit more, you can reach the Golden Gate Park, the Haight Street and Castro. I always felt safe and also parking was no problem. Don’t miss to go to the grocery store and Cafés in Cole Valley and the view from the Tank Hill. Everything is really close. If I ever come back to San Francisco I would love to stay there again. Even if not, I would say hi to Ilya and Jack. To bring this to an end, I can fully recommend this apartment.

A real find in a great neighborhood!

Ilya's apartment is beautifully furnished with all of the amenities you could wish for, including a firm, comfortable bed with down bedding and pillows, a very well equipped kitchen, and reliable internet. The location, a quick walk to the markets and restaurants of Cole Valley and to Golden Gate Park, not to mention the MUNI stop, is ideal. The steep hike up the last two blocks to the house is rewarded with a wonderful vista out over the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands from the balcony and the dining table. But perhaps the best thing about this place is Ilya herself. She is friendly and resourceful, and though she and her husband live upstairs, she strikes a great balance between being responsive to one's needs and giving one the run of the apartment. She loaned me hiking guides for the area and put me on to some great walks right nearby as well as providing info. on yoga classes and music events. Thanks, Ilya, for a very happy month in SF!

Pleasant Stay

I stayed for two months and enjoyed the peace and quite with the beautiful views from the deck. Commuting daily into the city was not an issue and there were several restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance in the Cole Valley. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped.

Beautiful view, very comfortable.

Although it is a studio, it feels much larger. The full sized, well equipped kitchen and very large bathroom make it feel more like a one bedroom. Ilya is wonderfully accommodating and helpful. I would recommend!

Ideal home away from home

First...Ilya and Jack are terrific hosts. Available for advice and pleasant to speak with. Coming through the red gate into your own secret garden is so welcoming and relaxing...loved the variety in plants and birds. The top deck affords an awesome view toward the parks and water. Inside exudes charming details and again great views from the windows. I had all the comforts to make my stay stress free. I only wish I had found this earlier. On Street parking is always always available. The neighborhood is safe and so much to do. The shops and restaurants of Cole Street are an easy stroll away. If I am ever in need of a stay in San Francisco, this will always be my go to place!!!

Absolutely Fantastic!

I don't even know where to start! The property itself is very well-maintained and the spacious studio is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful, and accommodating place with one of the best views of SF. The studio is furnished beautifully and instantly comfortable. Jack and Ilya were incredibly helpful and responsive with everything ranging from parking, recommendations in the area, to questions about the studio itself. You're walking distance from some of the best views in the city (tank hill, twin peaks), Golden Gate Park, the Interior Greenbelt, multiple excellent restaurants and bars, as well as the easy-to-navigate N-line. And, you're only a quick trip from iconic neighborhoods like the Haight, Castro, and the Sunset districts. I've lived in SF for the past three years, and I was lucky to have spent my last couple of months finishing my MA thesis here. This is hands-down my favorite place in SF, and you'd be hard-pressed to find something like this anywhere else in the city. This is a genuinely wonderful place to stay, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. Whether you're a local looking for a change of pace or a visitor wanting to experience the city for the first time, the area and the studio itself is perfect! Also, the shower is amazing.

hilltop apt

We enjoyed staying in this well designed and decorated studio on the north side of twin peaks with a deck that looked out over an incredible vista. Ilya gave us privacy but was always there for us if we needed help with anything, and it was very enjoyable to be her neighbor. The Cole Valley neighborhood, several blocks down the hill was vibrant with many restaurants and bars and even had a hardware store and a pleasant fitness club. GG park museums and gardens are about a mile or two away as were so many things. Must be fit to live on the hill and walk up the stairs to the apt however. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Intimate well maintained studio

We stayed for two months while our house was being remodeled. A nice intimate studio, with everything needed for a short stay. Very nicely decorated. Great views to the Golden Gate Bridge and beyond. We especially loved the location and easy access to shops and nearby restaurants. The studio is in a quiet area. Very gracious owner who was attentive and responsive.

Outstanding Property in every way

We stayed for 3 months while our place was being remodeled. Excellent views of the Golden Gate and high quality furniture, fixtures and appliances. Separate entrance, quiet, private and with plenty of parking on street. Wonderful and helpful owners on-site if anything is needed. Tank Hill, Sutro Woods and Golden Gate Park are all nearby for outdoor walks. The convenience of Cole Valley shops, restaurants and Muni transportation make this an ideal place to stay and you never get tired of the outstanding views of Marin and The City.

Wonderful studio in SF's Cole Valley.

My parents stayed for 6 months at this place. Overall they were very happy with the appartment and the landlords. The appartment is well supplied with TV, furniture, kitchen, dishwasher, W-LAN etc. It presented itself as very clean and certainly of above average bed & furniture quality. It is situated wonderfully close to Mount Sutro (2 minutes by foot and you're in the "jungle") and in a very quiet area of the city w/o any car traffic or any other sort of noise. Public transportation (busses and MUNI) is only a few blocks away with a few stations only into the heart of SF. Certainly most outstanding is the view towards the Golden Gate bridge and Marin, as well as the owner's wonderful garden. My parents would love to come back and in fact might do so!

We are a mature couple with 2 grown children who were raised in this house. We have devoted years of love and attention to the property, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else! The apartment is the in-law unit of a historic home built in 1933. We live in the main house. We have been short term rental hosts for 8 years and genuinely believe that our apartment is something special and guests have agreed.

House is situated on a lovely quiet street in friendly, low-key neighborhood. Gorgeous views. Historic home with period architectural details, surrounded by natural areas in all directions, yet close to everything one might need.
The apartment is especially desirable as it an in-law and feels like a home unto itself- not part of a large complex of multiple units.
The owners are on the premises and immediately available to respond to anything that might be needed.
