Casa São Pedro tiene 2 apartamentos de 3 habitaciones elegantes y amplios con muebles modernos y una decoración delicada la cual crea un ambiente agradable de verano. Idénticos en cada detalle, cada apartamento tiene una sala de estar con un sofá de estilo rattan, sillones, chimenea, TV y balcón o terraza que reciben todo el sol de la mañana. Dos habitaciones individuales y una doble con un decoración fenomenal comparten dos cuartos de baño independiente. Afuera, una piscina refrescante y una terraza soleada permiten un mayor grado de privacidad con un área de barbacoa para que disfrute de las refrescantes noches veraniegas en Algarve.

Had a fabulous holiday at this villa and as there are only two apartments the pool area is not over crowded in fact we had the pool to ourselves most days. It is central therefore easy to walk to all the restaurants. It is a traditional Portuguese villa.

The check in was easy and the host Maria speaks good English. The property is perfectly placed on a street with a lot of very nice properties. It has everything you might need. Loads of kitchen utensils, cutlery, bedding etc. It is literally a 7 minute walk to the centre with all the restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk to the beach. Having it's own pool was fantastic and very welcome in the hot weather. I'd definitely stay again.

The property was a good size for 6 adults, it had everything we needed but could do with a revamp.One of the bathrooms had a bad smell even though it was clean.I would like to see the grounds around the house kept better.Our host was a lovely lady who left homemade desert up to us.

This villa is in a great location. It is a close 5 min walk away from the lovely harbour of Alvôr with lots of excellent restaurants on your doorstep. It also has a few lively bars if you are looking for an evening out. The villa has a wonderful pool with lots of sun beds and shade. The fantastic beach is a short 20 min walk away. There is no need for a car as there are good transport options. The villa is well laid out and well equipped.

Lovely property in lovely position. Had many group visits to Alvor. This is one of best properties we’ve stayed in, and hope to return in the future.

Great place, quiet location but central

What can I say about the property - as described in the title - a perfect location on a quiet residential area. However very close to all that Alvor has to offer. Communications with Maria Helena were excellent, could not done more for us. Well spaced apartment with three bedrooms, two balconies and a pool with several sun loungers. A number of supermarkets close by with the largest being a Pingo Doce which is close to Eden mini golf. A few mins walk is Plaza Caffe, a nice spot on enjoy coffee.When back in Alvor would be staying here again,

First trip to Alvor

Wonderful stay,attentive host. Spacious apartment with great views very close to centre of Alvor,but quiet. Big pool,very deep so great for teens. Loved Alvor and will return.

Spent 2 weeks here. 4 adults , 2 children (4 @ 1 year old ) Fabulous stay , we loved every minute . The location is a 5 mins walk to centre so great !! The apartment is well equipped. Lovely good sized rooms . The large kitchen has everything you need whether you cook or just get take out . Brilliant views ! We needed a high chair and cot and it wasn’t a problem. The pool area is great , lovely and clean and lots of seating and parasols The owner is a lovely lady who cared that we had a nice stay Will definitely be returning as we love Alvor and this is a little gem

Great location close to town and beach

We stayed as a family of five in the top apartment. Firstly Lena who lives below was a lovely hostess very helpful and thoughtful, for example the coffee machine stopped working and within an hour Lena sent up a new one! . The apartment was spacious and comfortable with all we needed for a relaxing 10 days.

Fantastic location

Our family of 6 stayed 10 nights in Alvor. The apartment is within walking distance of everything in Alvor. We didn't have a car and didnt need one. Very close to two good supermarkets, Golfland, beach, restaurants and lovely old streets of Alvor. Got an Uber to Portimao and Slide and Splash no problem. Lina was a great host, and was easy to contact when needed. We had a problem with drains smelling and she sorted it out straight away. Also supplied extra towels no problem. Super holiday!

Spacious apartment

apartment was spacious for 7 of us and is close to shops and strip. Only downfall was not enough sunloungers at pool for both apartments. Owner on site and very helpful and friendly

Alvor at Christmas

Excellent location. Very good communication with host. We had a few things breakdown but they where replaced immediately. What more could you want. A lovely Christmas break .

Wonderful Family Holiday

Probably the best family holiday that we've had with our 7 year old granddaughter. 3 bedroom apartment with pool and a sea view from both balconies. Ideally situated for local shops,supermarkets and the many fantastic restaurants. Beach is about a 15 minute walk. The owner lives on site, made us feel very welcome and always replied very quickly throughout our booking process. She even arranged for a local taxi to collect us from and return to Faro airport.

Recently refurbished, but poorly, tile off in the bathroom so water over the floor, everything seems to have been painted with white emulsion, Some drawers painted shut. Lovely roomy apartment, with 2 terraces, so one of them is sunny all day. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen/ dining area. Large sitting room. Maria is a delightful lady, who was very helpful. Would stay there again if in the area.

Its the little touches that matter

I know this may seem a strange title, also if I say coat hangers but lots of them make a difference to a holiday rental and something that is a home from home. Loved this apartment, in a great location, its quiet but less than 5 mins walk to bars, shops, restaurants. The apartment was clean, everything you need to self cater, big fridge, oven, washer. Very comfortable beds, air conditioning if required, but another plus was nets on the windows meant you could keep the windows open and not be eaten alive which is much better than air-con. Large wardrobes, as I've said loads of good quality wooden hangers, drawers, mirror near a plug (ladies you know how annoying it can be when you can't do your hair because the mirror is to far away from the plug sockets. Large walk in showers with plenty of hot water, large drench head and smaller side shower for when you don't want your hair wet. The pool was spotless, comfortable sunbeds and plenty for guests in both apartments. We're already planning our next stay. Alvor is great as well - loved it

Plumbing issues

The property is in a perfect location, v close to town centre. It is nicely decorated with lovely views. Lena, the owner who lives onsite, dealt with a couple of minor issues very quickly. However, The cleaner hadn’t cleaned the shower tray which was blocked with hair and soap scum and there was a mouldy tea towel in the washing machine. I sorted this myself as I didn’t feel it was worth troubling the owner with. The plumbing in the bathroom is of a poor standard. One of the toilets is leaking waste onto the floor leaving towels and mats smelling of urine. The traps haven’t been fitted properly so there is a constant smell of sewage. We have stayed in numerous properties in Alvor and have never experienced this before When we pointed this out we were told we were being unreasonable and were asked to leave. We were refunded the nights we didn’t use and left the next day. Hopefully this issue has been rectified as it spoilt what could have been a lovely stay.

Well positioned apartments, close to everything but quiet. Lovely big pool with plenty of sun beds. The host was fantastic and met us on arrival to show us around the apartment, which was spacious, clean and well equipped. Highly recommended

Alvor Apartment great location.

Fantastic location, 2 min walk to the main strip and restaurants, maybe 5 min walk to the beach, lots of parking at Alvor beach, Main street outside the apartment is good for parking, as anywhere in Portimao or Alvor is a nightmare to get a parking spot. Apartment has everything you need, both bathrooms recently renovated, all rooms have air conditioning great for sleeping, large kitchen can easily sit 6-8 people, Large living room for relaxing. Pool clean every day we used it. Washing machine door broke and Lena had it fixed within 2 days. Great place would definitely rent again.

Casa simpática, bem localizada a 5min da praia; espaçosa e com uma varanda muito agradável com vista para o mar, ideal para uns jantares em familia! A proprietária é uma Sra muito simpática e sempre disponivél! Recomendo!

Perfect place for rest and play

This property is very well positioned in Alvor. Nearly every thing you need is within a few minutes of walking. The unit is well furnished for a long stay. The host is very kind and accommodating. The next time I’m in Alvor, this will be my first choice.

Meerblick vom Balkon und eine tolle Betreuung vor Ort

Relativ zentral in Alvor mit schönem Blick über das Dorf und zum Meer. Maria ist vor Ort und immer ansprechbar, wenn man eine Frage hat. Die Obstbäume im Garten und den umliegenden Gärten sind eine Pracht!

They have grown up and both are married now. We have 4 grandchildren. We like Lisbon but now we prefer the Algarve to live. No stress of the cities. Good sea to visit and to dive. People that think about holidays not about work. So we live now in Alvor - Algarve - Portugal. In the meanwhile we rent our properties.
