Esta casa adosada recientemente renovada y renovada frente al lago es perfecta para quienes buscan diversión, relajación y soledad. Hay impresionantes vistas del lago Chatuge y las montañas circundantes desde ambos niveles.

Camine a solo unos pasos de su puerta trasera y estará en el muelle de la comunidad que tiene amarres para botes y una escalera para nadar. Luego, solo un corto paseo y estará en el distrito comercial del centro de Hiawassee. Un corto viaje en automóvil te permite acceder fácilmente al sendero de los Apalaches para practicar senderismo, campos de golf, senderos para bicicletas y senderismo y un spa.

La propiedad única está situada en un punto de tierra que sobresale a pocos metros del canal principal del lago Chatuge. Mountain Lake Vista

Such a nice condo, right on the lake, close to town. Everything you need by way of conveniences. A place to relax, commune with nature, read a book or two, play some card games, take a swim in beautiful Lake Chatuge.

Our hosts made certain we had everything needed to rest and relax while soaking in the beauty of Lake Chatuge. The townhouse is lovely and spotless. The location could not have been better. We look forward to another visit.

Love this place!

Beautiful view from the balcony of the lake! The host provided extras like muffins and fresh flowers all around upon our arrival. Place was very clean and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great owner, nice property

All worked well. Great bed, very caring owner. Well stocked and perfect location for us. Quick drive or walk to everything. The one full Bath is very nice and is a ack & Jill style. This was perfect for 3 adults. Stairwell was somewhat scary as the treads are short. You must use the stairwell since the bedrooms are downstairs.

We had such a wonderful time at this lovely townhouse. Looking at the fall colors on the lake and surrounding mountains was exactly what we needed. So relaxing sitting on the deck watching boats going by. Definitely would rent again.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY

This property is wonderful and fully equipped. Having a dock right in the front yard is amazing. It's an easy walk to "town" and a new coffeee. shop. Communication with the owner was amazing, as always.

Very relaxing

The actual property was better than the pictures. Totally relaxing, literally minutes to town, this property was fantastic. John was quick to respond to questions and we had a blast fishing and exploring the town.

July 2022 Stay

Great location with it being so close to town but far enough away that it's quiet. The units are close to the lake and the view is awesome. The dock system is new and great for swimming. The unit itself had everything we needed and we would be happy staying here the next time. John is very attentive and likes to know everything is good for his guests.

Anniversary trip

Really enjoyed the stay. Very cozy. Neighbors around but quiet. Had considered staying in the woods but really liked sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake. The owner was very responsive

Our new favorite place on Lake Chatuge

We have stayed in several places on Lake Chatuge over the past few years and having a dog and wanting a place to dock our boat has been somewhat challenging. This place not only checked the boxes for those items but it is so convenient to downtown. The grocery store is literally blocks away. Also of note is how clean it was and the kitchen was well equipped. The double porches are awesome and we had hummingbirds visiting every day. Plenty of fluffy oversized towels which is always a plus. We’ll be back next year!

Beautiful Location

We have coming to the area over the last ten years. This Townhouse has the best view of Lake Chatuge we have had. In addition the Townhouse was really set up well (5 stars). Also it was a extremely quiet. You can go wrong at this location, great restaurants and Ingles (food) close by. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS WE ONLY STAYED A WEEK. I hated giving this a five star rating because more people will want to stay there, leaving less time for us to rent.

Hi John,

Your condo added considerable joy to our lake/mountain break in Hiawassee. The place was clean as a whistle with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and, as advertised, we were in walking distance of Ingles and some shops. The great room and master bedroom much larger than they appeared in pics. Sitting on the dock of the bay was all that it’s cracked up to be! We each read a book from your library and appreciated the information provided about the area. Happy in Hiawassee

This place was perfect! The view was worth it all. Mountains, lake, sun what more could anyone ask for! The condo was pristine and the owners had notes everywhere to make for well informed stay. We were right down the street from Intel’s, shops and restaurants. We loved spending the day on the dock. Soaking up the sun and lake breezes as well as floating in Lake Chatuge. We cooked in a night or two and the kitchen was well stocked with all necessary pots, pans and utensils. Thank you for keeping this place up to a 5 star standard!

This property is owned by two baby-boomers who have worked very hard in stressful jobs and fast paced organizations for many years (perhaps like you!). Our dream was to one day own a special place on a lake in the mountains so we could relax and enjoy the fruits of our labor. We also wanted a place that could be shared with family, friends and even strangers seeking a temporary refuge from big cities and hectic 21st Century living.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

While living in the flat lands of Florida our family had always enjoyed taking trips up to the North Georgia mountains-especially when were we fortunate enough to stay on a lake or stream. Having fishing and boating in our family DNA we always found a special kind of happiness and peace when we were on or near water. After many years of renting condos, houses and motels in the Hiawassee area, in 2012 we purchased a place on the water that offered year-around fishing and boating along with fantastic views of both Lake Chatuge and the beautiful mountains. Even more fantastic it was an easy paved drive to get to and just a short walk to a downtown area.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

When we first stayed in this unit as renters, we immediately discovered a special combination of joy and solitude from our first night. We watched from the porch swing the sunset over the lake and mountains while boats passed in front of us. Even though one had a sense of being in a secluded mountain location we found that within a short walk you could find in downtown Hiawassee a major grocery store, hardware store, a library, police station, restaurants, gas stations, banks, drug stores, churches, boat/jet ski rental shops and even a hospital and nursing home-which fortunately we have yet to use! What a rare combination of lakefront seclusion and in-town convenience! Then we found that within a half hour's drive there were a variety of things to do. This includes small mountain towns in Georgia and North Carolina, the highest peak in Georgia (Brasstown Bald), quaint antique shops, a resort and spa, a Swiss-like village (Helen), a folk art school, hiking and bike trails, waterfalls, wineries and even an alpaca farm! There are really no bad seasons of the year in the North Georgia mountains-only very different ones: Spring is full of bright greens, flowering plants and trees and the smell of mountain wild flowers.. Summers are filled with long sunny days and cool evenings with lots of special concerts and events to enjoy. Fishing, boating and jet skiing activities are at their peak. Fall bursts with many hues of gold, red and yellow from the gentle valleys to the tops of the highest peaks. Each weekend offers a variety of arts and crafts shows. Winters are very quiet and peaceful- a great time to come up for a unique Holiday vacation or a special Valentine's celebration. Sure the mornings can be a bit chilly but the afternoons are usually mild enough for a pleasant walk or bike ride along a lakeshore or mountain path. This property reminds us of other beautiful mountain/water vistas we have seen in countries like Switzerland, Italy and Ireland.
