Our stay in this homey cottage was fantastic! It had a small park across the street, was close to downtown, had a very usable kitchen, and comfy beds. We even got to listen to a music festival with food vendors in the park one evening, which was a bonus! We highly recommend this cottage!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage for the second year in a row. Everything needed in the kitchen was available, the beds were comfortable, and a small problem that arose was addressed immediately by the owner. We hope to return in the future!

We loved the front & back porch/deck. The private backyard made us feel safe and the shutters on the front porch gave additional privacy. The cottage was very nice and comfortable. Having the washer & dryer was very convenient. I would recommend staying there to anyone.

The house was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Beds were super comfortable and the house was walking distance to downtown Sanford. Probably one of the best VRBO rentals we have experienced. Will definitely stay there again when visiting family in Sanford

All rooms were clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the host communicated with me indicating that we could check in early if needed. The neighborhood was very quaint, friendly and felt very safe. Beds were very comfortable. I loved that there were so many bath towels provided. All appliances were new and nice.

Cute Cottage

This is our second time staying at this house. It’s in a great location with a pretty park in front of it. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We have family that lives 5 minutes away so it’s perfect for family to visit, come and go and have dinner together. Since our stay last year, the bathroom was updated to a nice walk in shower. The shower fixture was really nice and water pressure was excellent. We’ll be staying here again.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I loved our time spent at the cottage. So close to the historic district, walking distance but we drove our vehicle. Plenty of parking around the historic district. This cottage was so cute just like the pictures. Highly recommend booking. Clean , nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable . Will be planning another trip in the fall .

Awesome - cottage

Awesome! The cottage is has both the updated essentials combined with the historic feel! We loved the hardwood floors, the convience to a variety of places, and central location for foks to stop by and say hello. It's a relaxing and peaceful space.

Great property in Historic District of Sanford

A great mix of historic charm with modern conveniences. Very clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and shops and Lake Munroe.Would definitely recommend and stay here again if possible.

Amazing Little Bungalow!

Our stay was great, the level of detail in the renovations as well as the extra efforts taken to provide comfort and experience were very evident. The linens were high quality and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. I had to communicate more than most VRBO stays due to some logistical changes and Wayne was very accommodating and responsive. Historic Sanford is very charming with plenty to do within walking distance. The entire family was happy, I highly recommend this rental!

Larger than it looks!

This home looks small from the pictures but then you walk inside and it has so much room! I was really impressed with its beauty, the amenities and its charm. I cooked Christmas dinner here for some friends from out of town. I will definitely book it again! You can walk downtown to all of the shopping and stores but its far enough away to where you dont hear any noise. Id say a 10 minute walk if you stroll and a 3 minute drive.

Class 2-bedroom Southern cottage located on a park

Nice, functional cottage on quiet, tree-lined street across from a nice park; this is the place at which you want to stay in Sanford; outfitted in a thrifty yet sufficient manner; great front porch; only hitch was identifying the WiFi password which we worked through; we would definitely stay here again

Charming cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in this charming cottage in the historic district. It was perfectly equipped for our needs, very clean, and conveniently located where we could walk to shops and restaurants easily. It was also very quiet and felt very safe. We had an issue with the smoke alarm at first, and Wayne came over right away to address the issue. We plan to return next year.

Very nice and comfortable home

Check-in easy. Very comfortable, nice amenities. Great AC. Did have issue where shower frequently lost hot water but property owner was quick to respond and offered solution (run faucets in bathroom so I while taking a shower keeps water in shower hot). Would def stay again if in area.

Also Venue 1902 at Preservation Hall is across the park from cottage. A great wedding or event Center.
