The property was really lovely. It was very clean and comfortable. There is a parking permit allowing you to park about 10 minutes walk away near the bridge which was perfect. Peter was very helpful and friendly and made checking in very easy. The location of the property was only 1 minute walk from the beach, harbour and shops. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Looe.

Great Cottage that was well placed to experience all that Looe has to offer. The Kids loved being able to go into the town for the first time on their own, as the area by the cottage has no vehicles. The Cottage was well equipped and provided our needs for a family of four (Two young Children). It was even already equipped with crabbing kit and rock pool nets, both got used.

This accommodation is perfect whether you want to spend days relaxing by the beach and eating out at the many restaurants/pubs Looe has to offer or if you want to use it as a base to explore Cornwall. Sandpipers has everything you need to feel at home, spotless and heating worked a treat when it got chilly. You are 2 minute walk from East Looe Beach, the main shops and various restaurants. The car park with an allocated spot is approx 10 min walk from the house but you can do bag drop off closer to Sandpipers. Would highly recommend and we hope to return

The cottage was beautiful, everything we required was there and available. It is pristine clean and very comfortable. It is within a few yards walking distance to the beach with plenty of places to eat and explore. However it is not suitable for the less mobile person's.The car park although has a free alokated space but it is quite away from the cottage. We loved it and would happily stay again.

We were attending an event at Looe Sailing Club and the location of the cottage was just perfect - a couple of minutes’ walk from the Club and from the boat park in the opposite direction. The house was perfect for our requirements (there were two of us). The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with utensils for a rental property although for some people the lack of a dishwasher or a washing machine might be a problem (there just isn’t room to accommodate these appliances). It should be noted that the cottage is extremely small and also the two flights of stairs are very steep and with narrow treads. But, for us, the house was ideal and we would have no hesitation in returning when the sailing event returns to Looe in a few years’ time. The provision of a reserved space in the large Millpool car park was very welcome. Peter, the host, was helpful, responsive and communicative.

The property is a real home from home, with everything you would ever need. Over three floors , with ground floor kitchen, first floor lounge and shower room/toilet and second floor, double bedroom and bunk beds in other bedroom. Loads of cosy and homely touches. Very near the sea front and a variety of quirky and essential shops. The host is pro active in communication leading up to the stay, and answers any questions within minutes. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely cottage just minutes from the beach and all of East Looe. The cottage is immaculate and everything seems brand new. It was the perfect lication, quiet and secluded, but close to all. Ivstayed in March, so not everything was open, but there seems to be loads to do--fishing, crabbing, the beach, and boat tours, plus amusement arcades for the littles. I highly recommend Sandpipers for the perfect lovely holiday! One caveat, the stairs in the cottage are steep, so pack your good knees and a light suitcase.

We have been coming to holiday in Cornwall ourselves for more years than we care to remember, initially in our younger years to surf on the North coast, although if surfing is your thing the South coast has plenty to offer with the rugged Whitsand Bay only a short drive along the coast.
We visit all year round & the beauty of Looe is...its open 365 days a year!!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We just love the area, including wonderful coastal walks & impressive variety of restaurants to rival any big city right on your doorstep.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We enjoy sitting out with a bottle of wine after a lovely day's sun on the beach.
