One of the best houses in Sorrento

This house has been beautifully renovated and has amenities very few Sorrento summer homes have. The bedrooms are large and had room for porta-cribs for the little ones. Plenty of space inside and out. Truly a gem!

Quiet Sorrento Location

This home was fabulous, and we would book again if we return to the area. I initially booked based on positive previous reviews. The home is much nicer than the pictures reflect - great layout, well supplied, and very welcoming. We were in Maine for a family wedding in Bar Harbor. This home location created a good base to also explore other Maine highlights.

Sorrento Maine Vacation

The house was perfect very clean and spacious. A short walk to harbor down the street. Sea glass finds made the kids very happy. Tidal Falls is a must see, only about 15 minutes from house.

Spacious & Impeccable

The house easily accommodated 8 of us and was beautifully decorated and very well maintained. It is far from Bar Harbor and there are no restaurants nearby. Thus, if a lot of driving is fine, the house is wonderful for a large group. It is clean, comfortable, and full of books, games, and amenities.

Great location, comfortable basecamp for a family vacation in Maine.

This is a well-stocked home that makes a family trip so easy. Loved the screened-in porch and the convenience of the mud room where we could keep our gear somewhat organized. Kids really enjoyed the spacious bunk room. Plenty of towels and comfortable bedding. Can't wait to come back!

Peaceful Sorrento Family Getaways

This is by far one of our favorite rentals we have vacation at. Some thing about being by the ocean, seeing the sailboats glide across a beautiful blue ocean and collecting see glasses with my kids and their grandparents was an absolute treasure. We will be back to Sorrento again next year. The house is on a quiet road where our kids could play and we could walk to the harbor multiple times in a day. We were able to walk to see the fireworks for 4th of July. The kitchen is well stocked with quality kitchenware and I just poured over Ina Garden’s cookbooks. The kids room was amazing and our two dogs were comfortable with our stay. This relaxing home is family friendly and worth every dime.

New & Comfortable House on Maine Coast

This house is nearly new and very comfortably accommodated our group of two families (7 guests total). The location is a very short walk from the water in a quiet community that includes nearby tennis courts. We enjoyed the outdoor deck with a view of the water and Bar Harbor in the distance. The owner advised us before booking it is a 45 minute drive to Acadia. If you are planning to go to the national park more than once or twice, that is worth keeping in mind. It is about 20 minutes to the Schoodic Peninsula (world class bicycling) and 15 minutes to Winter Harbor (where there is a ferry to Bar Harbor). Overall, it was a good value for our large group and very pleasant place to stay for a week Down East.

The owner was delightful and very helpful! We stayed for a family wedding and the location was perfect for all events . The yard , outside porches and short walk to the water were all lovely additions to our visit. Great kitchen for family meals. I would definitely recommend this lovely and comfortable house! Lovely beautifully designed house in fabulous location

The house is in a great location - right in the center of town with easy access to the town dock, the library, the tennis courts, etc. It's beautifully designed and perfect for a family. We had two adults and 3 kids. Our kids were out collecting sea glass and learning to row and sail daily. There's an awesome bunk-style room for kids, and the bedrooms are airy and pretty. Kitchen is great, there is a screened in porch that we were in constantly, and the views are right out into the harbor. There's also almost always a breeze off the water, which makes sitting in the house or on the porch particularly pleasant.

Memories

We loved this house! It had everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect, close to the harbor so we could spend time there easily. There were games and books and interesting artwork., something for everyone in our family. We hope to rent it again in the future! Thank you to the property owner for make no our vacation so comfortable!

Lovely house & town

Overall the house and location were good. It was actually nice to stay somewhere other than Bar Harbor. We did have to clean the ice cube trays when we got there. It looked like they had dirt in them; and of course there was no ice. One suggestion: make sure all the bedrooms have fans, especially upstairs.
