Casa de campo del siglo XV restaurada con cariño: santaluciainchianti para aquellos que buscan un lugar con un sentimiento especial. Hay más para leer en nuestro sitio web santaluciainchianti. La villa cuenta con una vista impresionante de la conocida Conca d'Oro (Golden Valley) y se encuentra a poca distancia (1,5 km) del encantador pueblo de Panzano in Chianti, donde encontrará bares de vinos de moda y restaurantes especiales. .
La villa tiene capacidad para 6+ 2 personas y tiene tres habitaciones con baño privado (dos con ducha y una con bañera). Cuenta con un amplio salón con chimenea y una cocina totalmente equipada. Magical spot

There were 5 of us and we loved our stay. The living room with fireplace was perfect. Plenty of wonderful places outside to enjoy the perfect Tuscan views. Very quiet. Small town nearby was wonderful. Great restaurants great coop store. We loved it all.

Perfect Location

This is a lovely property and was a good home base for us to explore the many lovely hill towns in the area. I spent some quality time with my son and daughter-in-law and we made some very special memories together. One of the many serene mornings looking out I turned to my wife and said maybe we are in heaven. al

This place was pure magic and everything (and more) than my wife and I expected. It was a very charming, well-decorated country home with a spectacular view. Our host was very welcoming and provided a wealth of information and what to do, where to go, where to eat and when. Sienna and Florence are within an easy drive as are the many many country towns of Tuscany. Panzano was an easy walk away and was the perfect little town as it has a small commercial side but has not lost its small-town charm and was not chock-a-block with annoying tourists. I didn't feel like leaving. In fact I fell like going back right away - and staying.

Charming house !

Charming house. Magnificent views, We loved the house because it had so much charm. The house was comfortable and very pleasant. The bedding was very comfortable. Janine was a very friendly and welcoming host. The house is beautiful but there was too much old and dusty stuff and a bit too much personal stuff. I would also recommend Janine to buy more proper new hangers to put in the wardrobes. This was lacking. The cleaning should also be a bit more careful. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

A Great Home Base While In Tuscany

Despite the rain and low temperatures we still managed to have a wonderful stay at this lovely property. There is plenty of space in this lovely 16th century barn - turned home. 3 bedrooms with ensuites it was hard to chose a favorite. We used the wonderful fireplace at night and it heated things up perfectly. A short walk 2 doors up to Il Palagio Vineyard (one of our favorite wine tastings on this trip), you are also a short drive into Panzano and also the COOP (grocery store) and pharmacy. We did many day trips from this wonderful property. The views from the patio are lovely and we enjoyed our breakfasts on mornings that it didn't rain out there while taking in the valley views. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

Stunning setting

Lovely grounds, with great views and spacious villa. It was rather cluttered for our tastes. We would have liked more space for our clothes. However the stunning location and outside space more than made up for this. Janine the owner met us on arrival and suggested a number of places to visit and local eating places. We found Panzano a delightful town. Overall we had a really good holiday and recommend the villa.

Better than expected!

From the beginning Janine was great with providing helpful information and was there to greet us and make us comfortable. The pictures of the villa are so accurate yet do t show how fabulous it really is: so many different areas to relax & enjoy, decorated beautifully. 3 couples and we all had separate sleeping/bathroom floors so more than enough privacy. Janine recommended Alissa to prepare a meal for us at the Villa, this was a highlight of our time. Close to Panzano, Greive and quaint towns. Hope to return!

Fantastic Property

Not a lot to say other than we have stayed at a lot places around the world and this was our favorite place ever. The view is incredible and loved the town of Panzano. The property is beautiful and the little pool was great to jump in after a hot day walking around Tuscany. The house is as fantastic as the rest of the property. If you imagine your ideal Tuscan farmhouse, this exceeds it. Stay here, we would not stay anywhere else.

The best of locations and we loved our stay!

We were three couples. Upon arriving we were awestruck with the beautiful and idealistic views of the Tuscan landscape that served as a backdrop to the villa’s artistically staged grounds and swimming pool setting. Once inside you step back in time with an eclectic collection of period furniture and curiosities that will keep you discovering new items throughout your visit. The main sitting area is a great hall where we lit fires and spent many delightful nights. More importantly, the beds are extremely comfortable and the internet works! Panzano is a quaint town where we ate at both of Dario’s famous beef restaurants (and others) and more surprisingly met local winemakers that made this experience even more memorable. The location to other points of interest is another reason for choosing this Villa. Do a Google search and you could be here for much longer than you anticipated for an even more memorable stay! But I must add there are drawbacks: the lack of a closet in one bedroom, the curtain that separates the bathroom from the bed in the second bedroom and the showers in all three bedrooms are a “cottage” experience that must be stated. But regardless, I highly recommend this villa!

Lovely time in a lovely home

My husband and I enjoyed our short, off-season stay at Santa Lucia! The house was well kept and beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. There is plenty to do in the area, and you are a short drive from pretty much anywhere in Tuscany (San Gimignano etc). The nearest town, Panzano, which is walking distance is fantastic as well with an incredible butcher and great shops. The house is well appointed and we enjoyed our time cooking, playing cards by the roaring fireplace, and drinking wine. Janine is a wonderful hostess and we look forward to returning!

Stunning home away from home

The owner thought of just about every detail and this was the highlight of our amazing trip! The area is fantastic for both sightseeing and just relaxing. Be sure to enjoy the property and all of the stunning views from the numerous vantage points. We couldn't have asked for a better or more charming home. I hope to return soon to paradise.

wonderful tuscan rustic villa

we had a beautiful week here, Janine the owner couldnt have been more helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed cooking and sipping tuscan wine over dinner outside looking over the beautiful garden and surrounding vineyards. Would highly recommend this place. The inside is like a treasure trove - would be lovely to come back in wintertime to get cosy and actually enjoy the inside a bit more ..

Perfect farmhouse in Chianti!

What a charming home in the Chianti countryside! About a kilometer out of the small but interesting town of Panzano (less than an hour from Florence airport), down unpaved roads winding through vineyards, is a house that was converted from a barn a decade or so ago. The interior architecture is quirky and interesting, yet completely comfortable. It's on about a half-acre of property including a pool. The best feature is the owner, Janine, who is extremely sweet and will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable, and provide loads of information about what to see and do. We were there for a week and could have stayed for another easily. Walking out the door in the morning to the beautiful uninterrupted views of vineyards and olive groves, with Panzano in the distance, is an experience we won't soon forget. Thanks Janine!!!

A wonderful rural Tuscan villa

An amazing location for a getaway from it all idyll, which would suit everyone from romantic couples through families with children to a group of friends. Janine is a wonderful and very helpful host. The property is as described and more! It does have several steps inside and out but not an issue unless you have mobility problems. It is quirky and rustic and gives the feel of being a guest in someone's home rather than a standard holiday villa. It is well equipped, clean and the gardens are regularly maintained. You have sole use of the pool which is the same depth throughout. The views are stunning. The list of restaurants etc provided by Janine is well worth following. A must do is a visit to Stefano at the Accademia d'il Vino in the square of the old town. Look it up on Tripadviser - everyone gives it 5 stars. Easy striking distance of the well known sites - Siena, Florence etc. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great property in the heart of the chianti region

The property was lovely and spacious, and was well equipped and furnished. The property was clean. Outside there were a variety of places to sit and relax and soak up the sun with a lovely view over the rolling Tuscan hills. Although there were properties close by, the property was private. The nearby village - Panzano - is pretty, with a great Sunday market, and many good restaurants especially in the old town near the church. There are good cafés and gelateria. The wine dealer in the old town, Stefano, is very good for local wines, all sold with a little showmanship. The property is ideally sited to explore the chianti region, and to visit Florence and Siena. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and only regretted that it was too short. If you want a holiday where you can shut yourself away for a relaxing time, but with the opportunity to enjoy the best of the chianti region in Tuscany then this is property is well worth considering, and the owner's website gives an accurate impression of the property and area.

A perfect property for 2 couples, with lots of space ( inside & out ), delightful views, very well equipped kitchen and excellently furnished and decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and in particular found janine's notes on local sights and recommended restaurants extremely useful. Plus we enjoyed the fact that there were so many places to sit and eat or rest and enjoy the views. Highly recommended, and next time we would hire a 4 wheel drive car in order to better enjoy the 'white roads '. P.s. Sat nav is invaluable in this very rural area

A romantic and inspiring tranquility!

My husband and I rent Janine’s house in last September after a long trip from Canada. When we arrived in the area, Janine was able to guide us over the cell phone while we were driving in the dark on those spectacular and narrow Italian roads! We finally arrived and Janine explained everything to us about the house very rapidly so we can go to bed and have a good night of sleep. We were so tired! Janine brought some food to us for the breakfast, because we didn’t have time to buy anything. We were so happy! When we woke up, we discovered this amazing house, the garden, the pool, the breathtaking view, the flowers everywhere, the grapes, the fig trees, and everything! We were walking around the house again and again and we were so happy to be in such a wonderful place! A very nice table was available to have lunch or dinner outside near the kitchen, and another place was available in front of the house near the lavender plants to take the afternoon apero...it was lovely! And what to say about the inside of the house? The kitchen was very nice, complete and functional, the lounge was so lovely and inspiring, the room was very comfortable, everything was clean, we had hot water in the bathroom to take showers and ample place to hang clothes. We were only two persons in the house, but it was spacious enough to bring the family! Janine gave us very good advice about what to do, where to go, what to visit and where to buy good food during our stay. The location of this house was perfect because it was in the middle of Chianti Classic and about 1 hour or less in driving to visit all the wonderful and old villages of Tuscany! We visited almost all of them during our stay and we were able to go back home at night and to relax with good food we prepared and wine. The house is right in the middle of Florence and Sienna but not located nearby tourist stores. It is in a quiet country side to only about 15 minutes walking from Panzano. During the day, we were always in touristic places, so at night, it was so nice to be in this quiet environment! My children would have loved to be with us in this place because there was enough space to move, to run outside, to swim and to discover everything around. We spent a wonderful time in this romantic and quiet home and I would recommend it to everybody I know who is looking for tranquillity, liberty, nice view and space. Delightful 2 weeks at Villa Santa Lucia in July

Our family of 4 enjoyed 2 delightful weeks at Villa Santa Lucia in Panzano in the beginning of July 2012. The house is unique - we loved it! It has such character. The old house has been renovated so tastefully. Everywhere you look, you find beautiful pieces of well placed furniture. Wonderful unexpected interior solutions delight you, and the view from every window is amazing. The kitchen is very inviting. Perfectly charming as a whole. The house is particularly well suited for 4 people. The house is very well situated close to the pretty village of Panzano, and all the surroundings look very traditionally tuscan, the way you want them to. Something you can enjoy as soon as you wake up and look out of the window, or while preparing dinner in the kitchen. The garden is very pretty with a path of lavender up to the house - the garden as a whole suits the character of the house very well. There are a number of wine tasting opportunities even at a walking distance, and many nice Tuscan villages and towns are easy to visit by car. The only thing that could be better for adults and children who are accomplished swimmers, is a larger and deeper pool. We enjoyed lovely hot weather during our stay. The current pool is perfect for smaller children to play in. Johanna

Originally from the Netherlands, I have always been deeply involved in the creative arts. After graduating from the Academy of Art, my career led me into fashion and textile design. Passionate about design, I moved to Italy, where I continued my career in fashion. Over time, I expanded into ceramics, painting, and interior design.

Many years ago I was driving through the rolling hills of Chianti, dotted with cypress trees and olive groves swaying in the breeze, with lovely hilltop villages offering their scent of jasmine and rosemary in the brilliant sunshine.

“A place to be…” I thought. “A place to nourish my spirit and enjoy that beautiful sound of silence.” So I moved here permanently and opened an atelier in the old center of Panzano, and started decorating ceramics and designing wrought-iron furniture.

I bought a barn within walking distance of Panzano and turned it into a comfortable, relaxing home in this little corner of paradise. It’s called Villa Santa Lucia. Its been recognized in interior design magazines for its lovely restoration and remains a dream come true for me.

It’s also a dream I’m happy to share with you.
At the moment I do live in florence and Villa Santa Lucia is available for you to rent the whole year around. It’s a place where your dreams of living in Italy can come true as well.
