Estamos a pocos minutos de los Reales y los jefes de los estadios, el zoológico de Kansas City, senderos Swope Park, y el teatro Starlight, golf y ciclismo de montaña. Muy tranquilo y rejuvenecedor. The outside yards were a little messy. The bedrooms and lofts were great, especially for kids. Bathrooms good and bedrooms good. Kitchen a little in extras would be helpfulAC was great. Vintage home was beautiful.

Five stars across the board.

We had a great stay at this charming lodge-style cottage. Nestled in a peaceful, rustic wooded setting, the house gave the perfect combination of coziness and convenience. Convenient location —just a short drive to great BBQ, restaurants and downtown. The cottage itself was spotless and well-equipped, with all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable.A special shoutout to Mike, the owner, who went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with all the comforts of home and a host who truly makes you feel welcome, this is the place to stay.

The house was great and worked for our trip to KC. It is a bit of a drive to all the main attractions but close to arrowhead.

Comfy Home

We were in KC for a long weekend volleyball tournament and there were no hotels to be had last minute. Good thing or we may have missed out on this little gem. Great location to everything downtown and a much more spacious way for the 5 of us to spend relax as apposed to a hotel. Thank you Mike for letting us enjoy your home!

This home is well-stocked and absolutely adorable. We felt right at home the entire time!

The owners really thought of it all. The home is modern and rustic-it has elements that are cozy and elegant. We found the attention to details in the home especially interesting. We got new ideas for our beach home! We made some missteps but Mike was very flexible and patient with us. Our favorite features were: library/loft for kids; heated tile floors in master bathroom; butcher block countertops; and the farm sink. My husband tried the upscale hotels for his first trip and could not stop raving about the farmhouse. The location is about 10-15 minutes from everything. The neighborhood is quiet and the home sits on a beautiful lot. When in Kansas City, this is the best place to stay. On our next trip to KC, my family will be back to stay at Mike’s place!

Adorable comfy farmhouse

We stayed here this last weekend. We were in town for a family wedding. Location was great- just 5 min from my in laws. Mike the owner was very responsive to questions and was fantastic about updating us with any info. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in town visiting family. Our kiddos loved the race at bed and loft nook. Gave my husband and I a lot of ideas for our “someday getaway house”.

Great place to stay! Warm and inviting great appliances and plenty of space for family and guests.

We were close to the major attractions and freeways. Very secluded kids could enjoy the beautiful yard in a very safe private lot. Outdoors firepit and lendx itself to some great adventures! View from bedroom window is great wax sble to see plenty of wildlife. The inside was clean and spacious with comfortable beds including a kids room that kept my grandkids very occupied. The heated bathroom floors were great! How nice to wake up to these. Great space for the price would recommend to anyone! Thanks for the great accomodations!

Charming place, quiet neighborhood, excellent location!

We were looking for a place for our small family to gather for thanksgiving dinner. We had been focusing our search on downtown properties and are so happy to have stumbled onto this one. Great layout, centrally located with great highway access, and what a beautiful space and setting. Kitchen was fully fitted. Love the stove! Host was prompt and courteous. We would stay again and highly recommend this pace for other families traveling to the KC area.

Excellent rental! Comfort, charm, convenience!

I have used VRBO for years, and this was one of my favorites. Mike was super responsive before and during, and that’s always a plus for me. The home is beautifully decorated, roomy, clean, comfortable and charming. We woke up every morning to deer roaming the yard. The location was perfect for getting around the Kansas City area; seems like most destinations were approximately 15 minutes away. We were in town for a Chief’s game and used Lyft to avoid the traffic and parking headaches. We went to the Power and Light District, the Country Club Plaza, did a tour at the Roasterie, another tour at Tom’s Town Distillery, did Topgolf and ate some amazing Kansas City BBQ. Next time we will visit the Zoo which is less than 10 minutes away and possibly golf or spend some time in one of the many parks. Kansas City has a lot to offer and this home was a pleasure to return to at the end of each day!

Very nice place , tuked back in the trees.

There where 6 of us and we had plenty of room. Nice kitchen , showers , and plenty of parking. We where up there to golf and we didn't travel more then 15 minutes to 3 different course. We hit the weather just right , the outside fire place was a hit. We had a fire every night. Thanks Mike , will hit you up again if we head that way again.

Remarkable property inside and outside!

Our family had a wonderful 4th of July weekend at the Farmhouse! The location is great and the attention to detail really shows. The place was clean and well-maintained. The kids absolutely loved the walking trail and the library loft. The yard is spacious and a great place for sporting, grilling or winebibbing. We travel all around the world and this is one of the coolest vacation rentals we have stayed in. We will be back. Keep up the good work!

The Place really nice and clean, need to work on a few things.

The Place was really nice and clean, but i like easy booking sending all the info of everyone one staying there and pictures,signatures was just hassle we are very busy folks. Info was sent to The wrong email address to codes to get in home. The day we arrived 245pm at the house Mike said we would get code at 3pm to inner home I had to call several times and text and his wife called me back and gave me the code at 320pm and wrong address too. French doors to the bathroom and dinning room need curtains and outside very dark at night no lighting and AC not working very wells.And no cable too Need to work on a fews things, But over all its a great place to stay. Thank you Mike

Comfortable and easy!

The house is updated and clean. We were comfortable and really enjoyed our time there! We cooked there and the had most everything we needed. The only thing I wished was different was curtains on the glass doors between the main living area and the master bedroom. We visit KC frequently and when we can’t stay with family we would stay here again.

Great house in a beautiful and convenient location.

We had three couples in town for the International Lineman Competition and to go to the Chiefs Game. This house was an excellent choice for us. We like to cook and the kitchen had top notch appliances, the wooded setting was beautiful with deer walking through the property. The house was very clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly consider this property in the future.

Lovely home on peaceful property

The home was comfortable and convenient to a lot of different parts of town. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the evening sounds while unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Would stay again.

Close to Arrowhead stadium w/Fire pit. Heavily treed w/Burr Oaks. Springtime yields to a blanket of wildflowers thru Memorial Day and chirping birds. Summertime tree foliage provides a wonderful shade canopy in the summer months. The fall colors are amazing! Winter snow is enchanting. Occasionally, the deer pass thru. Also very close to Royals, Chiefs, Starlight theatre, Zoo, Swope trails and golf and more. Located just ten minutes SE of downtown Kansas City (all highway).

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

What made us fall in love with this property are the trees, birds and wildlife. The property is peaceful. After three years of blood, sweat and tears, the Restoration of this old farmhouse is finally complete (well almost, is it every really complete?) We converted a two bedroom one bath, functionally obsolete property, into a three bedroom 2 1/2 bath home. The attic was entirely removed and a cathedral vault with a Loft bedroom were added for the kids. The loft even has a half bath. The original oak floors were refinished. This home has tons of rustic charm, craftsmanship and modern fixtures. The master bedroom is en suite with heated floors, a Kohler massage shower tower and a walk-in closet. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, gas range, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, butcher block counter-tops, lighted cabinets. There is a washer and dryer, just off the kitchen. In addition to the central heat and air, and in order to add to the charm, we installed a wood-burning stove. We love this property and the home and hope you will too!
