CASA DE PLAYA CON PISCINA PRIVADA acaba de terminar en Terra Cotta Terrace. A poca distancia del acceso a la playa del barrio dedicado. Piscina privada. Duerme 12-14. Hermosos baños y cocina. Pisos de madera y baldosas en todo. Paisajismo tropical con palmeras y una hamaca. Literas empotradas. Esta hermosa casa nueva estará terminada para el 14 de mayo y lista para alquilar. Es completamente de marca de arriba a abajo. El primer piso tiene un dormitorio con una cama Queen, otra habitación con 2 juegos de literas que comparten un baño. En el segundo piso tiene 3 dormitorios. El principal, que tiene una cama king con tocador doble y ducha, el segundo dormitorio tiene 2 camas dobles con su propio baño y el tercer dormitorio con una cama king con su propio baño también.

Las comodidades incluidas con su estadía incluyen:
- Una ronda de golf de cortesía con carrito en Regatta Bay, por noche paga.
- Un viaje de pesca de medio día de cortesía en alta mar para un adulto, por noche paga.
- Un tour de snorkel de cortesía por unidad, por estadía de noche paga.
- Una tarifa de adulto de cortesía a bordo del Sea Blaster por unidad, por estadía de noche paga.

Great place

It rained our whole stay but the pool kept the kids satisfied. Nice neighborhood. The bedrooms were PERFECT! Everyone had their own space and we were not crowded at all... and there was alot of us! Each bedroom (besides the bunk beds room) had it's own bathroom which was perfect since there were more girls than guys :) Definitely will visit again!

Bachelorette party

We had the best time here! Great place with a private pool and walking distance to the beach and restaurants! We even had an ice cream truck stop by twice during our trip! We had plenty of space for everyone and we all couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Way better than expected!

After reading reviews of other guests, I was a little nervous. I figured it could go either way BUT it was above expectations! The pictures didn’t do it justice! Very nice area, no neighbor problems, plenty of room, nice pool. If you’re staying more than a weekend you may wanna bring your own toiletries and cleaning products but other then that it was great!

If cleanliness is for you, this property is not!

The location and property itself were just as described. It would have been perfect for our family of 13 if it would have been clean. From the moment we walked in the front doors, things went down hill. We were greeted by an overwhelming smell of bleach. Unwanted visitors

We typically come to Florida three times a year for vacation and chose this house for the size, pool, and location. The location was great, no issues there. The house was really nice but lacked on cleanliness . We had to wash some of the bed sheets in the bedrooms due to them being dirty, which still wasn’t a huge deal bc I like freshly cleaned sheets. The major issue came when at night we were cleaning up the kitchen and noticed a roach problem,these were not beetles. We contacted the property manager and left a message without receiving any response. We then messaged the property owner and received a prompt reply. Pest control was sent out and underneath the kitchen sink was sprayed, unfortunately that did not solve the roach issues as we continued to see them in the pantry,kitchen drawers, and in the dishwasher. They were centrally located in the kitchen and living room. After a good spraying of the bottom floor and a change in cleaning crew, I think this would be a phenomenal house to stay in.

I am so glad you enjoy this area. I wanted to let you know that we had the pest control company come out multiple times and treat this vacation home. We also had a formal inspection done to assure this did not turn into a bigger problem. I cannot wait until you come visit us again!! The beaches and sunsets are just amazing year-round here!!!!!!

Great property! Updated, clean space was large enough to host/ sleep a large party comfortably (group of 13). Property is much better than the pictures! Property owner was very responsive! Cleanliness - Very clean! However, there was a lingering smell that seeped through clothes/ luggage. Despite the check-out time, I had to call and notify housekeeping service when my group departed (I thought this was odd, because isn’t that the point of a check-out time?) Amenities - My reservation was for 3 nights. The property provided a supply of paper towels and toilet paper for a 1-2 night stay, and directed us to purchase more for a longer stay. I believe these supplies should be provided regardless of length of stay AND to accommodate the # of guests advertised (I shared a bathroom with 5 people - the hand soap bar went quick!) Similarly, it does not provide supplies for the other amenities it boasts to work (e.g., trash bags; coffee maker but no filters; washing machine & dryer but no detergent; no hand soap at kitchen sink just a small bottle of dish soap). Beach access - was a walkable distance but not realistic when carrying bags, a cooler, etc (but not the fault of the property owner). My group rented from an umbrella/ chair service for the beach. We had to find a rental service and the beach for said rental service on our own — which was fine — but as first time traveler's to Destin, it would’ve been incredibly helpful if have some guidance from owner/ local. My overall rating is poor due to a number of factors. Cleanliness of the house- it was ok. The housekeepers were there at 4 when we were supposed to check in so I think it was rushed in order to finish and let us check in. Things like cracker wrappers under the beds, floors were dirty and needed a second cleaning once we got in. Backyard- definitely needed a good cleaning, the palm trees were very overgrown and made a mess of the pool. We would of loved to use the pool more but did not because it was dirty and not a spot a family would want to hang out in. The grass around the pool was all dirt so I don’t think that helped the situation. Luckily you are close to the beach so I would plan on that and not the backyard. House contents- the house is missing a lot of things that should be included in a rental like a hairdryer, kitchen pieces, and there were no beach chairs or umbrellas which makes it difficult if you are traveling from out of town to have to lug that type of stuff. I did ask the rental place about beach rentals and they were absolutely no help in providing any options. Again if you are not from the area it would of been nice to have some options provided from a local. There are also no beach or pool towels so you will need to pack your own. Finally at checkout I left valuable jewelry there and called the afternoon of our checkout. The staff in the office had no sense of urgency and were impossible to get a call back from. It took over 3 days to get a hold of one cleaner which originally I was told they contract out for cleaning services and multiple calls had to be made. Either way, 3 days is way too long when dealing with an urgent issue. Nothing was returned to me. Overall the Destin area is fantastic but the communication and cleanliness of the house were severely lacking.

Sorry for the issues you encountered during your stay. Thank you for your feedback. The cleanliness of the property or the other concerns were not shared with the office personnel until this review. We do try hard to address concerns in a timely manner. The lost jewelry item was looked for by numerous parties, you even asked a personal friend to search the property while another guest was present. Although it is very unfortunate the item was not found, we are not responsible for items left behind in the unit.

Overall review

The house was super cute, looked a lot smaller on the pictures but was great size for our party of 11 ages 7-adult. The pool was perfect size for the younger children, wish we would of known about the storage of beach supplies in closet near outdoor shower. Walking distance to beach was not bad, but beach was very salty. Cleanliness of property could use definitely use some work. I think the housekeeping needs to do a deep clean. Linens (sheets and towels) were still dirty with stains and hair. Multiple stains on the walls and couches and floors seemed dirty still. Overall had a great experiencing with booking and communication with owner just would look into a different cleaning company, definitely may effect our stay for next time.

Excellent house property management needs help.

First of all, this is a great house. We had our family of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids) staying and it fit us all SO WELL! Everyone has space and the pool was the biggest life saver when we got tired of the beach. The beach is 2 tenths of a mile away and totally walkable… but with that many kids… 😕. Would’ve given 5 stars had it not been for the property management. The condo was not cleaned well. There was dog hair everywhere, floors were dirty and the dishes were disgusting. Clearly someone had unloaded the dishwasher when it hadn’t been run. Additionally, We had an incident where the grill caught on fire and the fire extinguisher on site didn’t work! Luckily, we were able to smother it another way but when I called the emergency help line, I got voicemail. The guy did come out that night and gave us a new extinguisher and the grill was replaced the next day but it could’ve been really bad. If I were this owner, I’d consider shopping around for a new management company.

Women's get-away

5 adult women met at the house for a get-away and it was perfect. The bedrooms are nice and bathrooms were great. Two women shared one bathroom on the main floor but the three upstairs bedrooms each had a private bath. The house only has one living space, so I would hesitate to bring to big of a group but the kitchen was easy to work in, the pool was lovely and it was a quick walk to the beach. Our only complaint was that the kitchen didn't have some tools that would have been helpful like a lemon juicer, measuring cups/spoons or tongs for grilling.

Spring Break 2022

This home is in a convenient Destin location for beach access, shopping and dining. Our family group of seven had plenty of room and the kids enjoyed the pool. We paid extra to have the pool heated which was needed with the cooler temps in late March. We didn't cook in the house, but it appeared to be well stocked with pots/pans/dishes if you were so inclined. We were able to fit four vehicles (a full size SUV, Pick up truck, two sedans) and a rented golf cart in the drive way (I wasn't sure that would be possible). Communication was quick via email for our questions. Our only real complaint was the cleanliness. We did have to call for some kind of sticky substance on the kitchen floor, which was cleaned promptly! There are a lot of small weeds coming up through the bricks around the pool and the interior detail cleaning wasn't great. Crumbs/dust built up in corners of rooms/closets, hair in bathroom drawers, some stains on the couches, someone else's socks under a bed, etc. The home has some wear - cabinets, appliances and wall corners - as expected in a rental unit. All our family members reported their beds to be comfortable and we appreciated each upstairs bedroom had their own bathroom. The pool was clean and appeared to be in good working condition. Overall, our stay was pleasant and I would recommend this location to others considering Wanderlust as an option!

Quiet Neighborhood

Beautiful house with quiet neighbors. Beach was a short walk away local stores were a short trip to get food and such. The kids LOVED the pool! It was a great experience overall. We will absolutely be making this a yearly thing for our family.

Great for a getaway

Wanderlust is a beautiful home located in a great section of Destin close to the main strip, restaurants, etc. Having a pool steps away from the living room was an added bonus. The only con i have is that there needs to be better cleaning in between visits. Minus that we would definitely stay here again.

Spacious home with all the right amenities

The home was great for our group, we loved having the pool. The distance from the beach is about 10 minutes, the space that you have to share in the community private beach is kind of small but we were always able to find a spot. The cleanliness of the facility was the issue, the kitchen wasn’t as clean as we would have liked with food splatter. We notified management company of some items that needed to be dealt with abs they said those things would be fix during their annual schedule (door knob missing on bathroom, broken garbage cabinet, loose bricks on front entrance step to name a few). But overall we would stay here again.

Family Vacay

Great experience!!! The house was beautiful and very convenient!!! The pool was a great size for both adult and children!! I loved how there’s bathroom for every room upstairs and on downstairs.. very great on space!!!! There’s a nice shower out on side of house to rinse off sand!! A closet full of beach toys and surf boards for kids!!!! The area is great , there’s plenty of stores and things to do near by , overall a great stay and we had an amazing vacay !!!!!!!

Amazing House

Stayed here for my husband’s birthday weekend with a group of friends and the house was everything we expected it to be. It was clean and convenient to everything. I will definitely rebook for our next visit to Destin.
