Entirely surrounded by an incredible park of soft lawns and giant palm trees, Villa del Parco is a property true to its name: an OASIS OF PEACE where your only effort will be that of closing your eyes while you unwind to the sweet sounds and smells of the nature all around.

Villa del Parco consists of 3 independent units (1 main building and 2 annexes) joined together by a stone-paved terrace, and a DREAM POOL which will be exclusively for you during your stay.

The main building has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a comfortable living room with fireplace.
The two annexes have each a large bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.

From the living room of the main building you have access to a cosy terrace where you can forget about time under the delightful shadow of a pergola. Furthermore, continuing along the terrace that borders the entire facade of the main building, you enter a rustic outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, ideal for enjoying outdoor lunches and dinners.

All rooms have AIR-CONDITIONING and a proper HEATING SYSTEM in order to guarantee you a pleasant stay in every season.

N.B. In winter (dic-feb) the villa is rented for max. 6 persons!

Het is een bijzonder mooie, afgelegen locatie, met veel mogelijkheden om - zowel bij slecht weer als bij erg warm weer - heerlijk buiten te verblijven. Heerlijk en goed onderhouden zwembad, enorme tuin, geweldige buitenkeuken met pizzaoven en overdekt terras aan het huis. Hoewel enigszins afgelegen, toch ook goed aangesloten op grotere wegen en in de buurt van bijv. Catania, Etna, Syracusa, en Agnone Bagni. Door onze verlate aankomst, was er geen tijd voor een rondleiding en instructies voor het huis. Daardoor hebben we veel zelf moeten uitzoeken, maar indien nodig was de contactpersoon (Erika) zeer goed bereikbaar en behulpzaam. Beheerders waren sowieso erg flexibel en behulpzaam. De (sympathieke) honden van beheerder Aldo, die in een nabijgelegen boerderij woont, kwamen van tijd tot tijd op bezoek. Meestal geen probleem voor ons, maar betekende wel goed letten op afval en etensresten. Soms wat bedelgedrag waar we op moesten corrigeren.

Wonderful Villa Complex

Wonderful place with great outdoor spaces. We loved having Virginia come in one day and cook us a fabulous meal. She also made fresh pizza dough for our pizza night in the resident pizza oven. Erika, our contact, was very responsive and if we had an issue, quick to help us resolve. We loved our time!

Really beautiful and peaceful house. Big enough for our family of 8 with a wonderful pool (cold but we still made use of it) and a fantastic outdoor kitchen. Best highlight for us- the setting was a gorgeous and peaceful orange farm (best oranges we had ever tasted). We thoroughly recommend Virginia the private cook. As we were off season many restaurants were closed but Virginia cooked for us twice and it was by far the best meals we had in Sicily!

we enjoyed staying. the house was wonderful, it consists of two parts, a main house and an annex, we were two families with 5 children from the age of 8 to 16 where we placed the young people in the annex, which was nice because then everyone got a little more privacy. the property is huge, as is the pool. the pool is at the end of the property, which is nice, since then you can have several zones, relaxing by the house, more action by the pool. if you want to live here you need a car, you need a car to get to the grocery store, towns and beaches. If you are going outside the property, you must be prepared to drive a bit. I recommend visiting the city of Taormina, it is a wonderful Italian city that has everything, charm, beach and shopping. The owners of the property were helpful and accommodating. all in all a very nice place and we had a very good time.

Das Grundstück des Air Bnb ist wirklich groß und traumhaft schön. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, der Müll abgeholt und der Garten gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind leider etwas staubig, aber da man im Urlaub sowieso die meiste Zeit draußen verbringt ist das auszublenden. Wir würden auf jeden Fall noch mal kommen und die Unterkunft auch weiter empfehlen!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das gesamte Grundstück mit Haus, Garten & Pool ist wunderschön und entsprechen der Beschreibung im Inserat. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Ausstattung ist top. Am tollsten war die Außenküche - hier kann man wunderbar grillen und die Abende genießen. Francesco, der Schlüsselhalter, war sehr lieb und hat uns tolle Tipps für Strände gegeben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Une maison avec un ou deux défauts comme les chiens errants (qui adorent nos poubelles) et les sanitaires qui auraient besoin d’un gros rafraîchissement, mais les côtés positifs l’emportent et surtout l’aide de l’Agence qui gère cette maison (Laura a été géniale), la cuisinière fantastique (Virginia n’hésitez pas à la demander) et enfin les extérieurs qui sont sublimes (le parc, la piscine, la cuisine d’été, …). Si vous passez votre temps dehors, je vous la recommande.

La maison se situe sur les hauteurs de la plage de agnoni bagni (a 5 km). Un espace de tranquillité au cœur d’un domaine agricole (citrons / oranges / oliviers) de 120 hectares qui laisse tout loisir pour le running ou la marche à pied au cœur de la nature. 2 maisons indépendantes pour un total de 5 chambres doubles. Des espaces de convivialité a l’extérieur bercés par le chant des cigales. Un superbe coin repas / four à pizza / barbecue. Piscine très grande à (15 x 6 mètres) au fond du jardin arboré. L’hôte est réactif, très a l’écoute

Overall disappointing

We were all very much looking forward to staying here but were overall disappointed. At check in we were not informed we had to buy all supplies for the house so it wasn’t until it came time to do laundry, run the dishwasher or take out the trash that we learned those were on us. This was particularly strange considering a group checked out the day we checked in so the host must take those things for themselves every time someone checks out. When the garbage got full we were told we had to take it to one of the nearby towns but received no other instructions. Luckily someone eventually can to collect the trash after it had been piling up for a few days. The property deserves better car. The kitchen wasn’t clean for our arrival and smelled of rotting fish. One of the bedrooms in the main house had ants in the bed the entire stay and there was no trace of food in the room. Luckily no one had to sleep in that bed because an 18 month old was in a crib. The property is also a very popular destination for mosquitoes, wasps and black flies. The grounds are beautiful but it is hard to really enjoy with all of the bugs. The location is not desirable as it is near the industrial part of Sicily and so close to the major highway that you can hear it from the house. The best part of our stay was the wonderful chef Virginia who prepared the best meals we had during our whole visit to Sicily.

The domain is beautiful and the house offers everything a big group might need. We were 10 adults and 2 infants and there was a lot of freedom and green areas for us to enjoy around the house. The pool was wonderful and a relaxing activity everyday. Set in a more contryside area, there is a lot of peace and quiet around the house. The grass was lush and green and the garden is very well taken care of. The house might have a rural architecture, but the baths and kitchen are equipped with everything one might need and the air conditioning in every room has saved our stay in a high temperature season. We used it daily. We had our meals in the outside dinning area everyday and had coffee on the patio. You have a beautiful view to the Etna vulcano and we were even fortunate enough to see it errupt. Amazing! There also lemon trees in the are and we even picked fresh lemons for house made lemonade and refreshments. Being a one level house, it is very child friendly and easy to move around in. We even had high chairs for the infants so that was a big help from the host. We used the private gate to enter and parked our cars in the yard. Communication had to be done in Italian with Francesco, the caretaker of the domain. We used Google Translate and spoke some beginner Italian with him, but in the end we received our answers. Being in a rural area, we recommend you take into considerations a variety of bugs flying around, gekos enjoying the domain next to you and some bees visiting the pool looking to cool down. If you use insect repellents and don’t bother the bees you’ll be fine. The hot and cold water pressure is not always excellent but it was enough for us to take showers and take care of needed house chores. Waching machine and dishwasher are a super plus! All in all the house was a good stay for our Sicily trip. We drove daily to the beach and surounding areas, so take that into consideration while planning your stay. A car is needed to get around. It’s a good property to spend an entire day in. We recommend you visit Taormina, Oasi Gelsomineto beach, Avola beach and Isola Bella. We wish we had the chance to visit the vulcano, but maybe you will! Enjoy Sicily!

Una casa espectacular, sitio maravilloso para pasar unos dias con la familia o amigos, pudiendo coincidir hasta 10 personas en el mismo alojamiento sin ningún problema. Además, viajamos con 2 niños menores de 2 años y la casa estaba perfectamente adaptada, no tuvimos ningún problema y estuvieron atentos durante toda la estancia por si necesitábamos algo. La finca es muy tranquila y permite pasear y disfrutar de la piscina en verano. Jardín muy amplio con vistas al Etna. Absolutamente recomendable.

A stunning and spotless rustic house in a beautiful location. Francesco and his family were very welcoming and accommodating to our requests. They allowed us to our own devices after check-in but were available when needed for any questions or issues. The grounds are amazing, including the large pool and brilliant outdoor cooking area with barbecue and stone pizza oven - which we used almost every night! The kitchen and living area were very comfortable, as were the bedrooms. I'll miss waking up to have breakfast on the outdoor seating area with a great view of the garden. It's a very peaceful location in the heart of rural Sicily, not too far from local towns and the cities of Catania and Syracuse. A special shout-out to the really friendly local dogs that we adopted during our stay - you'll be missed.

Wonderful 10 days!

We had an amazing time in this villa with our friends. We were 6 adults and 3 children (2 families and 2 singles) and the villa was so huge that we never felt we were on top of each other. In fact, we kept on losing each other. The main building was perfect for the 2 families and the 2 annexes were ideal for the 2 singles. Each group had its own bathroom/shower room which was perfect, and our family of 4 had the two rooms next to the living room which had an internal door to keep the noise away from the sleeping baby. Overall the property is decorated tastefully with lots of antique furniture with plenty of storage. The kitchen was functional with lots and lots of plates and dishes - even a MASSIVE moka to make coffee for the large group. We spent most of our time outside - either on the outdoor sofa area, or the dining area or in the garden (or park!) or by the swimming pool (especially the two 5 year olds were in it the whole time). It was so peaceful to have the morning coffee looking at the park. And dinner was always prepared in the outdoor kitchen, which is covered so on the one rainy evening, we moved the table to have our 3 hour long dinner without getting wet. The location of the villa is slightly higher than the sea (i think?) which meant that we were away from the unbearable August heat. It was always a degree or two cooler than by the sea, which was fantastic for us. It was still hot enough to be in the pool by 9am. In the evening you could stroll around the grounds which has orange, mandarin and olive trees, and have a view of Mount Etna. One needs a car to do shopping as it's a 15 mins drive to the village where you can also get fresh fish. The owner Francesco recommends the fish monger on the left. Lastly but not least, the agency was efficient, and the owner Francesco is a lovely lovely man. We had a last minute sudden change of plans and had to check in a few hours early on the day, and the agency quickly made it happen and Francesco was absolutely accommodating. He was around to help and answer questions, but also made sure we had our privacy. We also had some accidents and broke some of the items, which we wanted to replace but his comments were "No, you could always come back next year with one" Some of us are looking at coming back in...May!

Una vacanza davvero piacevole

Gruppo di 5 adulti e 4 bambine. La casa è veramente bellissima! Giardino e piscina sicuramente il must della casa. Le camere dotate tutte di aria condizionata e bagno (4 in totale, indispensabile per un gruppo numeroso di persone). Cucina ben fornita, frigo grande, lavastoviglie e microonde. Lavanderia separata con lavatrice ben funzionante. Tavoli da pranzo e numero di sedie adeguati al numero di ospiti; idem la quantità di piatti/posate/bicchieri/... Unica “pecca” la posizione un po’ scomoda: lontana dalle spiagge più belle di Siracusa ma assolutamente accettabile visto che sono comunque raggiungibili in circa mezz’ora di macchina. Supermercati raggiungibili in circa 15’ di auto. Il custode e la responsabile della Villa sempre disponibili e gentilissimi hanno permesso di rendere il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Lo consigliamo sicuramente!

Villa del parco: An italian Paradise!

This house is really a highlight! We have spent there a week in April with 6 adults and 4 children and have not missed anything! Everything was very clean and nicely decorated in country style, with lots of details that fit perfectly the countryside athmosphere: lovely! The name ‘Villa del Parco’ describes the huge park beloning to the house. The park (to your own use) is located the middle of orange and olive fields belonging to the private area of the landlords. You can go for a walk within this area and see different animals and plants. The horses were a highlight for our kids. For the adults, the outdoor-kitchen was highlight no. 1. We twice did pizza in the wood-heated pizza oven. Of course also BBQ after buying lots of yummy stuff in the market in catania. (To go shopping you will need a car) The pool was a highlight for the kids- even if the weather in april was actually not hot enough to go swimming. 😊 it is located in the very back part of the park, hidden behind bushes. Kitchen is fully equipped and our (really very nice landlords) welcomed us with orange marmelades, olive oil and honey from their own production! Towels and beds have been changed after 3 days and the bathrooms have been cleaned, we have not expected that! One last highlight: the view at the vulcano, every day offering a different shape! In a nutshell: the best place to stay if you are looking for a quiet and lonesome paradise with all commodities for a big group of people! Villa del Parco, we will be back! Riesen Grundstück, in Mitten von Orangenfeldern. Die Aussenküche ist ein besonderes Highlight. Liebevoll im Landhausstil eingerichtet. Die Umgebung bietet vieles. Trauhafter Blick auf den Vulkan. Betten wurden nach 3 Tagen frisch bezogen, frische Handtücher gab es auch. Wir hatten mit 4 Kondern und 6 Erwachsenen eine tolle Zeit! Ein Wagen ist zwingend erforderlich, da die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit 15 Autominuten entfernt ist.
